I just thought it would be fun to talk about other games not in the SH series, since it seems pretty obvious that everyone is a gamer in this guild.
Personally, I like Xenosaga A LOT, and although I'm not a big fan of Kingdom Hearts (I think it's generic and fan-boy-ish) I play it. I also enjoy Katamari Damacy, Devil May Cry, ANYTHING from Shin Megami Tensei, including both DDSs and Nocturne. I love Supersmashbros., and the only final fantasies that I can say I truly enjoyed were FF8 and FF9. I'm not a fan of 7 very much, and I thought that X and X-2 were metaphorical rapes of the series. I HATED THEM. I think 12 looks very crappy.
Oh, and I loved Dark Cloud 2. I thought the first one sucked, though.
And, I LOVE Paper Mario. Excellent.

as those who know me will attest I am a collector of RPGs
so first I must say that though they are a little harder to find Persona 2 and SMT: Nocturne are among my favorites and well worth the time and effort to track down if you have the means... and you can not forget DDS 1 and 2
another great game is Xenogears, simply put this is one of the best RPG titles to date in my opinion
another sereis I am rather fond of is Wild Arms
I also tend to favor a few action franchises... cheif among them Castlevania and Devil May Cry
I also like Gungrave but that could very well be as much due to my respect for Nightow as for the enjoyability of the games.

I thought CoD was WAY better than LoI for the PS2.

I played the xenogears demo with parasite eve, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. gonk ..Still searching for Koudelka. ....eBay is calling my name.

a testament to the greatness of the game....... it was even reprinted a few years back, and it is still incredibley difficult to find at local stores
Xenogears is one of those titles that stands the test of time and sets high standards for all RPGs
your best bet for finding it is onlien retailers
