November 18th 2005:
Hey from the studio
Hello Billy Talent Fans,
As promised, here is an update on the progress of the new album:
We are nearly done recording all the music now. The songs sound amazing
and we're really excited to be getting to the vocals which we'll record in
Toronto starting next week.
We had some interesting studio visits while recording. Red1 from the
Rascalz was working in the studio above us, we ended up hanging with him
for a bit. He listened to some of our new stuff and we listened to some
of his new solo stuff, he was a great guy and through him we met Anson
Carter (forward for the Vancouver Canucks). Anson was visiting Red1 and
also popped by our studio. When the Sadies came to town we went to their
show and had them over to the studio for a beer, awesome band and great
guys from Toronto. K-Os was also in for a visit. He's another Toronto
boy who was doing some work in Vancouver so we were able to hook up with
him. The kicker was meeting Bryan Adams, he is the owner of the studio
and dropped by with some of his family for cake on his birthday. He lives
out of town, but when he comes to Vancouver he likes to hang at his
studio. I'm not sure if he knew who we were, but he was a nice guy and he
shared his birthday cake with us; vegan-Chocolate cake it was good.

December 16th 2005: Hi guys,

Well...we just confirmed it and we are so stoked to be part of the 2006 Warped Tour! We unfortunately can't do the whole thing because of a very hectic summer touring schedule that we will be announcing soon but we're so happy to have been asked again and can't wait to see you all!

MySpace hacker
Hi guys,
So someone hacked into the Billy Talent MySpace page today as some of you noticed. Things are now under control and we appologize for the headache caused by whoever was responsible for this.
We've reposted the videos that were erased and will work on getting everything back to normal.
The three group bulletins sent earlier where not from us (the band's management who run the page) or Billy Talent (who are busy dudes but contribute to the page as often as they can).
There is NO contest where we are awarding fans with tshirts for posting comments. Also, Billy Talent are definitely NOT breaking up as Mr. Hacker (or Miss) had announced to some of you.
Thanks for your patience guys!

April 20th 2006:
New street team will be called THE BILLY CLUB!
As you know we ran a little contest a few weeks back asking you to send us ideas for what to name our new street team. We received tons of cool submissions and after looking though all of them we have decided on a name. The street team will be called THE BILLY CLUB.
There were three fans who submitted the name the Billy Club. To make it fair, we drew one of the three names out of a hat to decide who won the autographed Fender guitar.
Grand prize winner is Rob W. who has the guitar en route to him now! Osman F. and Aaron G. are the runners up and will each receive some signed merch. Thanks to everyone who participated. We will be launching the street team very soon so stay tuned for more details.

April 25th 2006:
New website launching soon
Hello
First off, I just want to say thanks for all of the kind words about the
letter I wrote a while back. It means a lot to know you guys support our
band so much.
Please stay tuned because we're gonna be doing a lot of changes to our
site to get ready for the new album. Ian is finishing up the artwork as we
speak and once that's done we'll be shutting down and restarting as quick
as we can. We're shooting for early May for the website and the street
team is days away.
We're gonna be playing shows all over the world again and we're all
looking forward to meeting the street teams and anyone else who comes out
to the shows.

Hey Guys and Gals
Just a quick note from the us boys in Billy Talent.
First we really want to thank you for all your support for Devil in a
Midnight Mass. The song seems to be getting a lot of play and we know
that it's because of all your awesome fan support.
We just added some new pics on Myspace of an open rehearsal we played for
our street teamers in London. We were getting ready for our Give it a
Name shows and thought that it would be cool if we could have some fans
watch the rehearsal. It was great to play in such a small setting and we
wanted to show some pics of the afternoon.
Things are getting really exciting with the album release coming so soon.
We're stoked for our German tour and our European festivals in June, and
of course Warped Tour in July.
I also want to mention that we are a bit late on our website change; but
it should be ready in early June. The artwork for the album is complete
and amazing and it will be used for the new design of the website.
