So I started to play the sims yesterday. Well, I got hooked,again. I could barely tear myself away from the computer last night to go to bed, and I am surprised that I am on here and not playin' Sims. I will start playin' in about 20 mins though. Right now I am gonna get a shower.

i know! i was addicted to neopets, but right now i'm addicted to this. so i'm like, always on! even when i shouldn't be!! ughoo

i was addicted to "the movies" PC game not long ago, then addict to "radianta Knights" PSX2 games in 2 weeks ago, addict to gaia lol... almost open gaia for almost every day and post somethin here. heart

Well, I know about Sims, for approximately 3 years. I have played the first Sims of PC, that was a sweepings compared with sims 2, and I was addict for a long time. Then I buy th sims for PS2 and I was addict also. I buys Sims 2 for PC and I have been addict until the day of today, but i dont know how, i lost the CD and I have not been able to play for like a month. But I have been thinking to buy the new expantion pack and then i will be able to play again xd But right now im so addict to GAIA 3nodding OMG

I got addicted to a game called Harvest Moon. I would sit here all day a play. Time used to slip away so easily playing that game. I would say to myself, "Just one more day(game time)," and there goes another hour of my life. lol
|

I have cycled through many different addictions, which I often phase in and out of: The Sims, The Creatures Series (I own 2&3), forum browsing (currently Gaia), Neopets, any kind of game involving levels, leveling up, high scores, etc. (Minesweeper was big, and my most recent ones are Snood and the Gaia Towns), television, Pokemon, and even collecting beanie babies a few years back.
I've generally eased off of most of my addictions, at least to the point where they don't interfere with my daily life. I try and replace most of the above addictions, especially those that stop being fun. Paradoxically I can only stay addicted to things I find very rewarding for short periods of time, likely due to the fact that those rewards are not immediate and aren't involved in a massive spiral downwards. Writing, drawing, and creative activities are among these, as are playing the Creatures series and a few other things as well. I'm learning to change that, and to start reading again, once the most pervasive of my addictions, disguising itself as browsing forums and reading cheap online stories.

Haha I'm addicted to Sims too...But I haven't played it in a long time...
It's not the kind of addiction where I always feel like I have to play it, but when I start playing it, I can't quit...
