What are the guild's thoughts on groups like Death Grips, Machine Girl, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, etc that blend metal and electronic elements? I grew up listening to older metal like Morbid Angel, Slayer and Acid Bath, but in my teens got into electronic music. Lately I've been gravitating towards the former mentioned bands for some more synthesizer-inclusive heavy music. I'd love to hear ur thoughts!

Apologies for the late reply, things have been busy in life. I grew up listening to bands like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails in my youth, but haven't listened to them recently. I've moved onto bands like Rings of Saturn and Interloper and am currently still infatuated with the heavier side of things. Long live the trash legends. Slayer and Megadeth over Metallica any day.

Bands like Rings of Saturn, Interloper or Infant Annihilator will suffice for heavily used synthesizers.

Now, apparently Rings of Saturn are due to release a 10th Anniversary remaster of Embryonic Anomaly. I have high hopes for this.

A lot of the newer tech death bands sound electronic. Archspire for one.
