Biography

Carrick O'Brien was born a normal, healthy baby boy. In his early years, he was rambunctious and spirited - as boys could be - and often made a mess of things in the house. He always had an affinity and love of plants, studying them, uprooting them, strewing dirt all over the kitchen floor. Despite his family being lower class and large, they made due with what they had and were over all, content and happy. It wasn't until Carrick turned thirteen that his life dramatically changed. This is when he was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes, a chronic illness that would go on to plague him for the rest of his life. After many stays in the hospital, Carrick and his family were able to get his illness under control, but it required a lot of scrutiny from both doctors and his parents a-like.

This is when his temperament changed drastically; he had to be home several times throughout the day to take insulin shots, and it put a general damper on his youth. Carrick then sought to find hobbies he could do indoors, given his lack of stamina and the likes. He turned to books, and found his passion of Herbalism. Carrick would go on to graduate and attend University where he actually received a degree in it, and a minor in Botany. He could tell you pretty much anything about plants, and would express himself artistically by arranging both Herbs and Flowers into beautiful arrangements - resulting in a small side profit while attending school. Carrick also found himself often working for Florists on and off throughout his young-adult years.

Carrick now finds himself in Briggs town after his mother passed on, where he would like to start his own Florist shop that also offers homeopathic remedies with Herbs he gathers around the area. Given all the medications he's been on over the years, he likes to turn to a more natural approach any way he can - and has studied it personally quite a bit.
