Check out a band called Saor, preferably their Guardians album. It's Atmospheric Black Metal, but close enough.

These rec's will be more atmospheric than sludgy, but check out Vinterriket, Darkspace, Lunar Aurora and Spite Extreme Wing (specifically their last album).
