Casually, she wears a uniform-esque outfit, consisting of a blue blazer, a pink cardigan sweater worn over a white blouse, a green tie, and a blue pleated skirt. She almost always wears her long hair tied up into pigtail with two ribbons, but with certain outfits, may convert them into buns instead.

Isabella dreams in fantasy and color and clouds and cotton candy. When she runs as fast as she can, instead of seeing objects passing her by, she sees swirls and color and waves of fun. Most importantly, when she converses with others, she imagines, quite literally and perhaps immaturely, that person and herself in their own little world doing all sorts of interesting activities together. Essentially, in Isabella's eyes, there is no limit on what kinds of new experiences she can encounter in the future.

Driven by an intense desire to be friends with everyone around her, one might describe Isabella as 'enthusiastic'. She is determined to be well-liked and to make everyone around her have as big a smile as she pictures them to have in her elaborate daydreams of happiness and joy. Isabella accomplishes this and expresses her enthusiasm by exploding like a ball of sunshine, in the hopes of sharing her inner light.

Seeing the good in people isn't difficult when you're under the firm belief that every living creature is good and that "bad things" just generally don't exist. If some bad thing occurs, then Isabella understands that it occurred independently of the living being that might have actually caused said bad thing. It's not a hard concept to believe in when the worst thing you've knowingly experienced is some smelly person who forgot to wear deodorant decided to sit down next to you.

The difference between someone who is spontaneous and the person who isn't spontaneous depends on the existence of a thought process before taking action as the idea of the action presents itself. In Isabella's case, there is a lack of thought process, so therefore, she does what she pleases just as the moment presents itself.

Isabella is not observant and sees past most of the logic that everyone else seems to employ every day. She doesn't catch on to things very quickly and most of the knowledge that she has gained has been more intuitive than learned. She knows she isn't super smart or anything, but she may not be aware of the extent to which her lack of common sense is easily recognized by others.

One issue with the "thinking everything's all good", general spontaneity, and lacking in intelligence combination is that one's general carelessness can actually be dangerous. If you lack common sense, you may not know to not run your car when you're a closed garage or you'll suffocate, or to not put a fork into an electrical socket. It is for this reason that Isabella's family tries to make sure that even when she thinks she's alone somewhere, there's, at the very least, a confederate keeping a close eye on her.

Even though it may take a few extra moments for Isabella to process the circumstances of most complicated situations, she is receptive to a strong sense of empathy from what she can observe from the expressions of those around her. In addition, sometimes she finds her own confusion in some situations frustrating, and often felt that things were being kept from her, which they were, which also made her feel unwanted or left out for a reason, which she was. It is important to note, in case you haven't already, that Isabella's family is associated with Silph Co. It is a very large organization, headquartered in Kanto but with branches all over the world, that produces various appliances, including the self-titled Silph Scope, which was the very device that birthed the business. The creation of said device does not mean that the Silph family has any extra connection to Ghost-type pokemon, but really it was just good business. At the time of the company's founding and the invention of the Silph Scope, there was a general need to be able to track spectral signatures, so Henry Silph simply recognized the business opportunity. Thus, Silph Co. was founded and soon became one of the largest manufacturing corporations in the world.
In addition to being successful business moguls, the Silphs are a loving, tight-knit family who keep their business mostly in house. Of course, due to the size of the corporation, the staff extends far past blood relations, but Henry was particularly careful about who he hired. With such a strong network for people and a little help from the outside, they were able to overcome obstacles and continue to thrive, even through the dark period when Silph Co. was briefly infiltrated by Team Rocket. It was shortly after this 'dark period' when Isabella was brought into this world, and the company was mostly being managed by the acting vice president at the time*.
Alexander and Dominick, fraternal twins who were twelve years old, were excited and anxious to meet their new baby sister, who had arrived three weeks before she was supposed to. The best doctors were rushing around the hospital and everyone was hopeful, but nervous, due to the premature labor. Unfortunately, Irena, Isabella's mother, died the day that the Silph family brought this new life into their family, and so she was named for the life that was sacrificed for her own.
No one blamed Isabella for the tragedy - how could they? She was just an infant who needed the love and care of her family. Even though Henry suffered from the loss of his wife, he loved his new daughter and continued to raise his boys and his newborn. As she grew, she was surrounded by affection and wisdom from her family and as far as she could tell, everything was as it should be. As a right of passage, coming to an age where his children could raise pokemon, each was given an Eevee from their father, who had an Umbreon of his own. With his seemingly endless amounts of resources, for his little girl, Henry was able to find a rare female Eevee which he gifted her when she turned Eleven.
While Isabella's brothers were expected to take over Silph Co. when they grew up, the same was not expected for the girl. It was obvious that Isabella lacked a certain intellectual capability that her brothers shared, but what she lacked in intelligence she made up for with kindness. Still, the family was nervous to send her off to train on her own, particularly Dominick, with whom she was notably the closest with. Even Isabella herself recognized that she did not want to battle Pokemon, but instead found a way to express beauty in her love for the many creatures that co-inhabited the world she lived in. Thus, after receiving a Squirtle as her official starter pokemon, along with her Eevee, she set off to seek this beautiful, with the watchful eyes of her family and their many confederates close by.
Isabella made her way through Kanto excitedly and happily, meeting new friends on her journey and unsuspecting of anyone that could be following her to make sure she was okay. Just as anyone might, she encountered a few bumps in her road, but she continued to be blissfully unaware when someone would come to her aid, or even her brother, Dominick, would appear as if he just happened to be in the area. Mostly, Isabella was too ecstatic by his sudden presence to be suspicious of any other explanation for why he could be there. She collected shiny ribbons, wore a whole lot of elaborate and colorful costumes, and discovered her talent for painting. Perhaps this skill was bestowed upon her to compensate for her struggles elsewhere, but there was no denying that Isabella truly had a gift with a paintbrush. Still her endeavors have been mostly focused on being a Pokemon Coordinator. Having now competed in many competitions within the Kanto region, it is time to explore new terrain...plus her father just happened to be cruising to Kalos for business that week and has a surprise waiting to greet her.
