The brilliance of the day came about from the abundance of sunlight that fell upon the Lumiose City streets through fairly clear skies. Save for massive plumes of puffy clouds, there was not a single inkling of rain or storm. The walkways of Lumiose City were alive with activity. Visitors from several regions, or even the surrounding towns, found themselves gasping over the brilliant sights through the storefront windows. Pompous characters of class strutted through the sidewalks, their noses upturned, with their decorated Furfrous at their side. Other Pokemon trainers glide past on their roller skates- careful to avoid getting hit by taxi cabs. Musicians played music in the streets, keeping the upbeat vibe of the city. Were it not for the looming shadow that drowned out the sunlight like a sinister storm cloud, the day would have been perfect.

A black mass swooped over the city from behind the camouflage of a cloud. While some pedestrians yelled in shock, others stared with gaping mouths at the incredulous size of the mass. It was an airship, a menacing hulk of heavily plated metal machinery that gurgled overhead the city. From several geysers beneath, smoke and steam spewed into the air- clouding the open skies with disgusting fumes. The ship hovered there for several moments before small helicopter-like vehicles were dispatched from the hangars. Like wasps swarming a hive, they zipped angrily through the air before finally settling into several clearings in the streets. From these helicopters, which whirred loudly as their blades cut through the air, several troops and soldiers dressed in the themed colours of purple, red, and black swarmed through the streets. Lumiose City was being taken. The airship lifted away from the city, just enough to relieve the citizens of the fumes. A burst exploded from beneath the ship, completely shutting off the power of the heart of the entire city. All of the lights flickered before succumbing to darkness.

.........

"The soldiers are in place." An officer spoke to a purple-hooded figure. The man stared out the bridge of his ship, nodding his head in approval as he spoke into his microphone.

"Begin your search. We are seeking out those idiotic 'Anti-Void' activists- but you may claim powerful Pokemon from their trainers along the way. Remember. If anyone opposes you, you may open fire or attack them with your Pokemon as you see fit. Whatever delivers the message across. They must..." His voice cracked, and he cleared his throat. "They must fear Team Void."

“I will say this be for we start...
You should never mess with a man with the heart of a dragon. Remember that!”

David Arrakas
The Tower King From A Far Away Land

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few miles away from Lumiose City, above in the sky, a man and his trusted friend were flying above the cloud line. He had been in Lumiose in ages, and in a way he was excited to be back in Kalos. This was the place where the man had meet two of his Pokemon and had earned his right to use Mega Evolution. It would be long now until David would be able to see that that wonderful tower that had greeted him when he had first arrived. But the tower wasn't the only thing that he saw as the city came into view of his blue eyes. There was now an airship that was above the city with smaller vehicles coming from it. Before he could figure out what was going on, the answer blasted from the ground as he immediately moved his gaze to the where he had heard the sound. David was shocked what he saw as the city that was know for it's lights had grown dark. He knew what he had to do, as did his black Charizard as the black Pokemon dived do to the city below. In the city, the grunts of Team Void were following their "orders" as they had cornered a family in an alleyway. When one of the grunts went to go and attack the family, he was met with a pillar of fire, to which group was forced to retreat from the flames. The black Charizard landed with a thud as David looked at the family, who's eyes were filled with fear.

"Don't worry... I am here to help..." He said as he tried to calm the family as he made his way outside the alleyway to meet with the grunts from before with the rest of there squad. Seeing the unique colored Pokemon, they offered to forgive the man and let him go free if he handed over his Charizard. When he didn't give an answer, the grunts let out there Pokemon to force David to accept their offer. David was starting to hate these people the more he was around them and decided to do something special. He then threw one of his Poke Balls up into the air and let out a large blast of white light. The light took shape of a very large creature and made a large slam when her feet touched the ground. The young child from Kalos had returned and Gabu was ready to help the land she was brought back to life in. The sight of the large Pokemon seemed to be to much for the grunts as the sight of the dinosaur made them scatter, not wanting to be eaten. With a smirk, David returned Hiryu to his Poke Ball, allowing it a well deserve rest, and got on the back of Gabu. If Team Void wanted to turn Lumious into a battleground, he was going to make sure that he would protect the people here. The man then threw a second Poke Ball as the land shark, Star, roared when she was landed on the ground. With a look of determination from the three, the trio moved to go and assist the people of the city. Though to the person, whose car was stomped on when Gabu was let out, David would need to apologize later to.

“Don’t say you don’t care. That’s the one thing you should never say.
You will surely regret those words.

> Sylvera (Gardevoir) (S) ♀ | Psychic/Fairy | OK
Seidri (Gallade) ♂ | Psychic/Fighting | OK
Astra (Starmie) | Water/Psychic | OK
Nico (Meowstic) ♀ | Psychic | OK

Kristina made her way into town entirely out of breath. If her arrival and subsequent inavailability of information on Team Void hadn't been a bad indicator, she wondered what could be worse than coming into town to the sight of a large-scale... what even was this? The girl blinked as her discolored Gardevoir hovered in beside her, looking as outright angry as the normally-cheery pokemon was so much as capable of. She had no doubt about it; this was an attack, and Sylvera seemed to share the same sentiment beside her. "What do you think?" She finally wondered aloud, but the moment she turned to see her friend, she knew her answer.

Sylvera, looking tense with a frightening red glow in each eye, was not so quick to forgive. The thought pained Kristina - a necessary reality to face, she knew, but one that she couldn't stand to see develop either. "Well, at least they make themselves known. Now all they need is a flag saying 'hey, come get us'." But at that she stopped. Maybe that was the point. Looking again up to the giant airship hovering so low over the city, the reality of the situation gave her pause. It was a provocative gesture, similar to what she had found in the news. It was the same sort of stunt that lured her away from her trip to Lilycove; was that the entire point?

Thinking better of her approach now that she suspected a trap, Kristina reached for one of the balls at her belt and promptly recalled Sylvera to rest. "Sounds like we're putting our smartest foot forward today..." She admitted, sending out her Meowstic instead, which promptly took a perch on her shoulder. "Nico, keep an eye open for me. See anything too out of the ordinary... oh, what am I saying?" She mused, starting off along the sidewalks of the city.

Of course, the girl stood out much like a sore thumb; not only was she clearly displaced among the higher-class citizenry, but where most were scattering like wildfire, she made it a point to keep her calm.

There was a particular organization within which the Team Void grunts handled themselves that strongly resembled military tactics. Instead of spreading their forces thin, they condensed themselves into single units that cornered the pedestrians block by block. Helicopters landed and lifted off in scheduled patterns; releasing a new wave of grunts with every landing. The Void airship lifted higher away from the city, enough that it was no longer within reach of the buildings. Sunlight was able to peek through the edges of the ship- which made the shadow even more menacing than it did before.

The first bit of resistance came from a dragon tamer, a male who was mounted upon a Charizard. After returning the Pokemon to his ball, he released a Tyrantrum and a Garchomp. He had attacked a grunt that had been in pursuit of a suspected family. This would not do in the slightest. The captain of a Void squad team gestured for his particular group of five men to follow. They were cautious in their own right.

"Sir." The first one spoke firmly into his headset, directed at whoever was in command of the airship above. "We have found what we suspect to be a Dragon Pokemon trainer."

'And?' A voice buzzed through the soldier's earpiece. 'Gauge the strength of his Pokemon. If they're worth our time, you have the Pokemon retrieval team at your disposal. Use my men carefully. We cannot waste resources during a city siege.'

"Yes sir." The soldier muttered as he turned to one of his grunts.

"Clipper. We need to know what we're up against. You and Rex are the only ones with type-advantage. Pull the trainer's attention to the Tyrantrum. We'll use that opportunity to take down the Garchomp ourselves." Behind the soldier's helmet, his voice sounded almost robotic, which was merely because of the speaker installed into his helmet that would prevent his voice from being muffled. His words were only amongst his men, as he spoke carefully enough not to have anyone overhear. He pulled a gun from his back and readied a clip of tranquilizer bullets. "The Pokemon capture units will sweep in on my command, and they'll pull the dragons down with their nets."

The squad peeled away from their hiding spot and moved into the street, blocking the path but keeping themselves crouched in case the Tyrantrum or Garchomp would move to trample them. Clipper pulled his Pokeball from his belt, painted black, and released it onto the street. From it, a Haxorus stretched and roared towards the sky. Rex followed suit, pulling out his own Pokeball and releasing an Avalugg. Both of the two Pokemon stomped in the streets, glaring at the dragon Pokemon several feet away.

"This is your only warning." The leader called aloud to the Dragon trainer, "Stand down, or we will be forced to open fire and you will be incarcerated."

[ I'm waiting in the cafe. Don't hurt yourself trying to get here too quick~. ;D ]

                                                      . . . message sent

"What can I get for you, ma'am?"

Like any other hot sunny day, this woman was sitting indoors trying to get out of the heat and something cold to eat. She had no intention whatsoever to sit outside and bask in the sun's harsh rays, not even when she was in Kalos, the most beautiful region in the world. At least to her, anyways. She shoved her communicator into her pocket and leaned on the table. In her grasp laid a pastel colored menu, and her eyes squinted hard under her bangs to make out the letters on the page. They were all a blur—as any other day—but at least there were pictures next to them. Otherwise she'd be doomed to suffer from sugar withdrawal.

                                                      "Ma'am?"

Whinter snapped out of her struggle and looked up to the fuzzy image she could only predict to be his face. "Yes, sorry. I'll have this." Her finger landed on a picture of what she assumed was a rainbow colored milkshake with a pile of pink whipped cream on top and some kind of...what, a smiley face? (10/10 worst description ever)

"Ah, our famous Shining Lunatone parfait! Excellent choice~!" He scribbled something down on the white block (notepad) in his hand and gave her a big smile. "I'll get that right out for you, Miss... ......Uhm..."

"Kousetsu," she replied. He didn't say anything, in fact it looked like he was shrinking back. She blinked and shook her head. "Look, I understand it can be a life changing thing meeting a world class Pokemon trainer in person, but that's no reason to act like I'm some untouchable statue-"

He dropped the notepad and bolted behind the counter.

                                                      "...Well then-"

                                                      BOOM.

Suddenly the power was out, and she was left in the dark. Quite literally. Whinter turned her head to glance out the window, only to be greeted by a somewhat darker landscape than moments before; it appeared all daylight fled behind the clouds, and the heat finally caused a brownout on this wonderfully warm day. Then again, there were fleeting images of people running for their lives, so maybe wonderful was the wrong word. There were darker figures, albeit ones much slower than the others, and they were holding up guns, pulling the triggers repeatedly as they aimed for...

"I guess it's my lucky day," she sighed, brow furrowed as she stood from her seat and started walking, hand gliding ever so daintily along the windows until she felt the doorframe next to her. "I hope you don't mind, but it appears I'll have to dine and dash. Duty calls." Whinter didn't really know if her waiter or the other employees behind the counter were still present, but they must've been somewhere inside the building because she could hear distant shouting and some muffled screaming. With that, she swung the door open and stepped outside, her right hand reaching to her handbag for a more than familiar item. A little toss in her palm sent the Pokeball up an extra foot in the air, and out from the button shot a red beam. Before her, a Pokemon took form, tall and slender with a wild mane of fur she never managed to comb out in all her years of trying. With her other hand she unleashed another ball like the first, and out come a much larger body with landscaping and a shell of armor on its back. They roared to life on the street and looked to their trainer with concern in their eyes.

"Well, Zoro, Torterra. It looks like today's the day we're charging into battle."

Zoroark and Torterra gave either a confused look and then glanced back to the armored men in the street. Immediately they knew what was occurring, and planted their feet firmly on the ground before them, claws clutched tight on the concrete and their expressions darkened until almost threatening. Whinter stepped in-between them and faced the men herself, bangs over her eyes, one hand bent back holding her jacket over her shoulder.

"Stop right there!" one of the armored men shouted, a gun pointed at Whinter. Several more stood next to him in the same pose. "Stand down, ma'am. We'll be taking your Pokemon into custody." Silence stood between them, but on the sidewalks around them, some people saw her and slowed down to take a look. Murmured voices swept through just a bit of the crowd, until others were suddenly shouting something with the word "Sinnoh" in it.

She sighed. "To think," she said, glancing up towards the giant gray blob in the sky. "If I weren't blind, nor a Pokemon trainer, I probably could've been a runway model. Then this would've gone much easier for you lot."

The men eased their stances and lowered their guns just a tad, looking between each other The one at the front tilted his head. If his helmet had eyebrows they probably wouldn't been raised.

                                                      "...Wha-"

"Night Daze." She said it so nonchalantly it could've been some phrase in a passing conversation. But instead her Zoroark raised his arms, glowing with shadowy purple energy, and slammed them down on the ground as a wave of darkness spread out. The men before her started shouting at one another and firing in all directions; clearly Zoro'd manage to confuse them pretty badly, as whatever darkness obstructed their vision wouldn't dissipate fast enough.

"Leaf Storm, while they're still confused." Torterra roared in understanding and bent forward, the tree on his back glowing vibrant with life as a powerful wind stirred up around them. Everything blew about in a circle, and for just a split second one of them could've seen the ice cold absolution in Whinter's eyes.

That was, if they weren't being pelted with leaves.

Cries emerged from the storm, and one by one they started dropping like flies. No doubt about it, those surprisingly sharp-edged leaves made some pretty deep cuts into their armor—which let's be honest was probably just made of cloth and hard plastic rather than steel like it should've been. The darkness and the storm subsided, and sure enough, she'd knocked down two dozen men with such a combination. Helmets were cracked, and some opening revealed the parts of flesh that were freshly bleeding.

                                                      It was true after all.

A Champion like Whinter showed no mercy in the face of battle.

                                                      Dawn must've been so proud.

“I will say this be for we start...
You should never mess with a man with the heart of a dragon. Remember that!”

David Arrakas
The Tower King From A Far Away Land

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gabu's feet stomped hard into to the streets of Lumiose as the trio continued their way through the city. The sight of a Tyrantrum, along side a Garchomp, walking around the city was a unique sight to behold. The bipedal Pokemon was now hunting, not for prey to devour, though she thought that her master wouldn't mind if she had a nimble on one of the void grunts. No, Gabu was on the hunt for grunts of Team Void to force them to retreat from the city, help her trainer anyway she could. The Pokemon stopped in their advance as a group of Void Grunt, who looked very different from the ones they had met with earlier, came out of shadows to block the trios path. David's rage began to to boil as, not only did this group aim weapons at him and his Pokemon, but it appeared that one of the grunts had a dragon Pokemon, and worse of all, it was one of his own Pokemon. Gabu then roared at Team Void's Pokemon once it felt the rage of her master and it only built upon her own anger. Star felt the same way as the two but instead of roaring out like her current partner, she was plotting of what she could do to help the man. This rage only grew when the grunt told David that he had to stand down or the would open fire at his Pokemon and he would be captured. Is this really what Team Void was about?

Hearing the words of the human in front of them made Gabu and now even Star now roaring at the group. The man gaze looked around the area with his Garchomp following his gaze to one of the near by buildings and the grunts ahead of them. Behind the group was a three way junction, that could be used for an escape route and with the building... David had made his plan which was now being whispered to his Tyrantrum to fill her in on what she needed to do. He didn't need to say anything to Star as she most of the time picked up on his plans. This was the bond that David shared with his Pokemon that when the man whistled, the plan be gone. From what he had seen, the four-story building beside them was empty, which meant that Gabu was allowed to Head Smash the side of the build which caused to tilt towards the grunts. Just as fast as the Tyrantrum, Star jumped into the air and slammed back down to the street, causing a shock wave towards the Team Void grunts. With the Garchomp's Earthquake, the building beside the trio begone to fall straight for Team Void and their Pokemon. This was there chance as Star jumped onto the back of Gabu when she turned to run back and turn right from the three way junction. They didn't have time to see if the attack combo worked as they now need to turn the hunters into the hunted. However as they went down the road, the Tyrantrum caught the scent of fresh blood and, by instinct moved to where it came from. After slamming through the alleyway, to get to the street one over, David looked around to see where Gabu had took them.

What the man saw was what the Pokemon had smelled, fresh bodies of Team Void members. They had been hit with something powerful as he could see their helmets were cracked and their suits were pierce through by something small but there had been many of whatever it was. His attention was then moved when Star began to growl at something or in this case, someone. David's eyes meet with a woman that had a cold look in her eyes and Pokemon by her side. Was she the one that did this to the grunts? In case if she was against Team Void, then this was an ally to him in this crazy warzone. So with a deep breath after he looked away for a moment, the man looked at the woman again with a smile and a thumbs up as he began to speak. "Well, it looks like I'm not the only one making friends to day." Once he had spoke, Star placed he claw on her nose wonder why her master had even said that. While the two were going to interact with the woman, Gabu kept her eye out to see if any Team Void grunts were coming.

“Don’t say you don’t care. That’s the one thing you should never say.

_______________________________________________________________

Lumiose City was a place that Slade had visited to very often back when he was still active on heists. The city was vast, and there was always a score to go for. From what Slade could remember, the last job he pulled in Lumiose city was a bank heist, but that was nearly ten years ago. Slade was still continuing on with his peaceful life, fed up with crime mainly because he couldn't risk being caught for the sake of his sisters. Ten years was a long time though, and with the activity of Team Void, it could be an opportunity to come back out of the shadows. Slade walked the streets tending to his own business. The sun blazed in the sky, raining down its dominating heat onto the inhabitants of earth. Fortunately Slade had his companion, Gengar, hiding in his shadows as he walked. Gengar cooled down the air around him, making the blazing heat a more favorable one. As people walked by Slade they turned and looked at him, with a chill running down their spine. Reason why? His companion most likely. Slade contemplated the works of Team Void and if he should return back to his life of crime. Honestly Slade had all the money he needed, but crime was part of his life. He needed to do more of it.

Right on cue a large shadow loomed over Lumiose City. Slade looked up with a slight curiosity and saw a gigantic airship. Team Void seemed to be making their move once more, and Slade was going to be right in the thick of it. "Looks like we're back." Slade said. Slade's shadow suddenly appeared with two glowing red eyes and a wicked grin. His longest and most trusted companion, Gengar knew exactly what Slade was thinking, and he too missed the life of mischief. Slade made his walk through the now dark city of Lumiose. With the power starting to go out, Slade prepared quickly for a robbery. It was of course on the fly since he didn't really plan any of these events, but the opportunity was too great to miss. Slade walked through the streets, feigning fear as he moved with the ground. He was making his way to the stone shop that was located in the city.

When Slade had finally arrived at the stone shop, he made his way inside, He stormed through the front, with a cold sweat beading down his face, his hands were shaking as well as his legs. Slade fell to his knees, shivering in 'fear'. The employers in the store quickly aided Slade, "Sir are you alright?" a female employee called to him, helping Slade stand up. "I-I'm fine." Slade stuttered, using the employee to help him move across the room and into a nearby chair. "T-Team Void is attacking." Slade said softly, instilling 'fear' into his voice. The room was getting colder by the second since nobody knew that Slade's Gengar was hidden, and chills went down everyone's spine, except Slade's of course. Gengar helped Slade create a condition that seemed to make the people in the room even more uncomfortable about the situation than normal. People were getting goosebumps, people were shivering, and chills continued to run down their spine. Slade was using Team Void's appearance as the perfect reason the be scared of the situation. Everyone in the room was beginning to have cold sweats, and in no time chaos in the store reigned over. The people in the store quickly ran out except for a few who were cowering on the ground. Slade stood up from his seat, and his Gengar finally appeared out of his shadows. "Looks like we still got it." Slade chuckled lightly along with Gengar. The employees that were still in the store couldn't help but cower from the thought of Team Void invading, and now the appearance of an undoubtedly strong ghost-type pokemon that was before them. When Slade first entered the store earlier, he had already picked out what he wanted. After stealing what he wanted, Slade walked out of the store, not giving a care to the events going on outside. Gengar levitated childishly as he followed Slade out of the store.

When out of the store, Team Void's grunts stormed the streets. A few grunts had noticed Slade and quickly surrounded him, with their guns aimed towards him. "Surrender your pokemon peacefully, and we will not harm you." A grunt called out. Slade's companion had already disappeared into Slade's shadows. Since everything was dark due to the airship's shadow, everything was Gengar's domain. Slade raised his hands in the air, dropping the bag that contained the stones he had just stolen. As the armored grunts moved in on Slade, a very sudden and cold chill stopped their movements. The grunts aimed around them, wanting to pin on the location of the presence. "Too late." Slade said, and a ring of dark energy pulsated through the air. It was the move Dark Pulse. The grunts flinched from Slade, and fell to the ground, shivering. Gengar made the air cold once again. "Poison them." Slade ordered, and the Gengar complied, using Sludge Bomb onto the grunts. "Hex." Slade said afterwards, and once again Gengar complied. The grunts that laid on the ground around Slade grunted in pain after being poisoned, and hexed. Slade picked up his stolen goods and reached into his coat. "Since you pointed guns at me." Slade said, pulling out his very own revolver. "No hard feelings right?" Slade asked before pulling the trigger onto the three grunts. The echoes of gunshot could be heard, and screams from nearby civilians that saw the gruesome event ran from the scene. "Let's leave before we get any more unwanted grunts waste my time." Slade said coldly, his Gengar appeared out of the shadows, laughing heinously at the dead grunts and levitating in circles around them until he finally rejoined with Slade. Gengar looked at Slade and stared at him as he walked. "They had their guns pointed first. You know I wouldn't do that unless they have the intention to do as well." Slade said, as if he knew exactly what Gengar was thinking, which he did. "You know the rules, no killing or harming civilians, and fight with means that match your enemy's means."

Sylvera (Gardevoir) (S) ♀ | Psychic/Fairy | Away
Seidri (Gallade) ♂ | Psychic/Fighting | Away
Astra (Starmie) | Water/Psychic | OK
> Nico (Meowstic) ♀ | Psychic | OK

"Oh... you have got to be kidding me." Kristina murmured under her breath. With a worried glance at the sudden devastation up ahead, she glanced to the Meowstic perched on her shoulder and back out to the scene ahead. "Can we not bring in the bulldozing crew?" She moaned in protest before taking off ahead. Assuming that the destruction was Team Void's doing, she spared herself no mercy in making a dead sprint for the scene.

"Criminal activity I can handle, but throwing away the lives of people and Pokémon alike?" She panted, recalling Nico for the time being. "Not on my watch."

Of course, once she had a clearer picture of the scene, she realized the collapse of the building was in fact not the work of a Team Void member, which essentially put her off all the more. Weren't the trainers of the city supposed to be defending the city? Stopped dead in her tracks unable to find a suitable answer, she found her only response was to lower a hand to her belt and release her Gallade to her side. "Tell me this makes more sense to you than it does me, Seidri?" She pleaded to her companion.

When she only got a quiet stare back from the Pokémon, she took that as a sign of pragmatic indifference. Team Void or no, a life was a life, and several had just been jeopardized. She knew well enough not to question it; while at the same time she couldn't argue with the decision to bring overkill down, she wasn't so sure she could get behind this particular measure.

Then again, these people probably knew more than she did - after all, she had only arrived two days ago and had gotten no real lead on Team Void since then besides vague warnings. Was she really up against a group to put people to such extremes? And if so - was she in any position at all to be a part of it?

All questions for later, she suspected. First, the matter at hand - clearing out the mess with minimal casualties. With a sigh, she closed her eyes and focused expressly on the here and now. After a moment, she knew exactly what she had to do. "Sylvera." She breathed, letting free her best friend and closest companion alongside her counterpart. "Seidri, you too. We need to clear the streets. Safely, if we can, but quickly, before anyone else gets hurt. You see Astra, hurry back." She spoke softly, but with a commanding edge to her tone that suggested she didn't have time to clarify anything.

In the next moment, her Gallade sprinted off and her Gardevoir vanished in an abrupt teleport down the road, the two pairing well to guide the general citizenry away from the catastrophic events nearer to herself. "Kind of leaves just us, Nico." She admitted, holding her Meowstic's ball in her hand as she ran ahead towards David and Whinter.

Steve a*****e

Busting out of a alleyway and into the main street in front of the man named Slade, a rather tall grunt stood before him. The grunt was paying no attention to Slade but stood with his side facing him. The grunt's name was Steve, Steve a*****e, and his Commander for his squad was Commander Helmethead. Steve was different than normal grunts running about and raising hell. Steve had no gun. But Steve didn't need it. He was built like a Machoke and hit what felt like just as hard. He had buldging ripping muscle's along his whole body that his Team Void Suit was tight on Steve's body. He stood at 6'5 and weighed at 250 Ib of muscle. The thing is Steve had a major problem, his brain is also a muscle. But not only that....

Steve starts to twirl out into the middle of the street and does a little leap threw the air with his hands above his head and lands perfectly on the tips of his toes and proceeds to do small step kicks in one spot before spinning and doing it again.

Steve wished to be a ballet dancer than be a Void Grunt, Steve wished to show the world the beauty that is dance and with a body like his the beauty would be perfect. Steve practiced at night when no one was awake, would watch soap operas, ballet's that made him weep, and wouldn't care in the world if someone walked in on him he would just drag them into it as well and make them practice it with him. Steve's dream was to dance to the star's and make the world fear and love Team Void with the power of ballet!!

Lotte was having a nice excursion to Lumiose City, something she did quite often since she lived rather close, stationed in Laverre City. Despite being mystical and old-fashioned, Laverre didn't have the herbs Lotte liked to use to heal her Pokemon, which required her to trudge through the swamps every other week to visit the Lumiose herb shop, and maybe stop for a juice or four. Five? Lotte had lost count after that.

Wearing a wide-brimmed hat, Lotte crept through the city, hoping no one would recognize her as the gym leader from a neighboring town, though really all she was doing was drawing more attention to herself due to her suspicious behavior. A few months ago, she had to talk to a law enforcement to confirm her identity and intentions. She stopped wearing a heavy hooded cloak after that. The woman dropped the herbs she was holding as she saw a flash out of the corner of her eye followed by a loud crash. She heard screaming come from that direction, and was about to start screaming herself before a feeling inside of her came out, wanting to help. That had been happening recently, and it was rather annoying. She slouched over, clutching the front of her shirt in a moment of extreme fear before pulling out her Pokeballs from her bag. Usually she'd have more, but today wasn't supposed to be a fighting day.

Lotte ran through the streets, for once going the opposite direction of the panicked masses, releasing her Pokemon as she grew close to the destruction. "Beheeyem, the buildings!" Though her command was vague, her trusted gym partner began using Psychic on the crumbling buildings, slowing their descent to the ground, allowing people to escape and not get crushed. Lotte looked up, seeing an approaching shadow, only to finally notice the huge airship lumbering above, spewing armored people into the streets. "Chomper, Kelpie, I need your help!" These two were among her first ever Pokemon, caught on her first excursion out into the Pokemon world. They knew what to do.

Lotte turned her eyes to the sky one again, nervously biting the inside of her mouth, seeing increasing chaos in every direction. When she looked back to her Pokemon, only to see a grunt rushing towards her, about to pistol whip her into submission. She knew she couldn't get away, he was too close, so she instinctively punched at the grunt. Her fist made a dull thud as it connected with armor, and pain radiated through her arm. "Oops." She breathed, cradling her bruised knuckles. She flinched as the grunt raised his gun, but Lotte's Swampert came in with a well-timed Take Down, pushing him to the ground. While Kelpie was a kind soul, she would do anything to protect her trainer. Behind the downed grunt came his Pokemon, ready to defend their trainer as well. Lotte readied herself for battle, her mind entering her gym leader mode.

Slade continued to walk the streets of Lumiose City in the midst of the chaos, not giving too much attention to the events happening around him. Civilians screaming and running, Grunts forcibly taking pokemon from trainers and their families, even collapsing buildings that shook the ground didn't affect Slade's mentality in any way. His past was tough one, and the only true fears he has is losing his sisters. Slade's companion, Gengar, returned to Slade's shadow, keeping the cold and chilling aura around him as he walked through the streets. When Slade finally reached the main street, a man that seemed to have the appearance of a Machoke suddenly appeared in front of him. The man wore a Team Void grunt uniform, but he didn't seem to be very threatening. The grunt was not armed, nor did he seem to be too interested in Slade's presence. Out of all the events that were occurring in Lumiose City, this particular event had Slade stumped. Robbing, threatening, destruction, the definition of chaos was occurring at the very moment, and this one man was able to stop Slade in his tracks.

In slight confusion Slade looked at the man, not entirely sure if he was a threat or not. The grunt started ballet dancing, out of nowhere. Slade balled his fists and covered his mouth, holding back a small chuckle. On the other hand, his companion revealed itself from Slade's shadow and began to levitate around the grunt, laughing uncontrollably. "Again, let's not bother with unwanted grunts wasting my time." Slade commented, walking off to a different direction. Slade's Gengar stayed slightly behind mimicking the grunt's dance, but continuously laughing. Slade turned back around to see his Gengar enjoying itself. Slade sighed, walking back to the grunt that was dancing his heart out. "Are you really part of Team Void?" Slade asked curiously, though Slade kept his distance from the rather large man. There was no doubt that if this man got a hold of Slade, he physically overpower him.

There was a sharp rumble that resounded nearby the squadron that had decided to take on the Dragon Trainer. It was his Tyrantrum that smashed into the base of the building, followed by a shockwave that shook the squadron. Their leader quickly glanced up, gesturing for his men to recover. "We've got a falling building- move move mo-"

"Rapid Spin!" Rex said to his Avalugg, and in response the giant ice-berg looking tortoise grumbled and began to spin. As the building crumbled towards them, Avalugg's spin stunted the impact of the falling building, causing chunks of brick and debris to fly everywhere. The only men that had been left alive were Clipper, Rex, their leader, and their two damaged Pokemon. They were standing amongst the rubble, in a poorly formed clearing where the building had been split by Avalugg's spin. By the time the dust had settled, the Dragon Trainer was gone. Just above, a helicopter whirred. Once the squad leader took notice, he turned to his men.

"Good call Rex-" he said as he held up his hand to the earpiece. "Sir, we believe we might have an identity on the trainer we were pursuing."

'We've already pulled up his profile and I've run the facial identification scans. That would be the Head of Realgam Colosseum... Arrakas, David.'

"What do you recommend our next move be, sir?"

'Have the ground troops focus on the perimeter. I'm sending in an aerial force to scope out remaining threats. The Champion of the Sinnoh region seems to be here too. Make sure that all of your equipment is activated for what I have next. Once your men have secured the perimeter of the city, wait for my orders.'

The leader nodded his head and signaled his men to follow him. It would only be a matter of moments that the city perimeter had been thick with soldiers, with helicopters flying around. It was not those soldiers, however, that were the threat. It was the team of Pokemon retrieval soldiers that were now sweeping through the streets of the central part of the city.

................................................................

The Pokemon retrieval squads were dispatched, each equipped with their tranquilizer guns. Pokemon that were getting too out of hand would be shot down with these darts, forcing them into a slumber. Some of the weaker trainers that began opposing were only met with the darts plugging into their Pokemon, rendering them unconscious. Helicopters hovered ahead, firing nets from their guns in order to forcefully capture certain Pokemon. Some of the nets were electrified, so the shock would also render Pokemon asleep or paralyzed.

A group of them had gathered a whole crowd of trainers in a plaza towards the center of the city, aiming their tranquilizer guns at the people. The Grunts that had real guns were stationed atop buildings, guns lowered, but ready to scope out Pokemon trainers that attempted escape. Most of the group included little children, celebrities, and young teenage trainers who were devastated to be separated from their Pokemon.

"Move." One of the soldiers grunted towards a young man, but the man resisted. The man's Zangoose lashed out at the soldier, only for the soldier to ram the butt of his gun into the Zangoose's jaw. In seconds, another soldier fired at the Zangoose, rendering it unconscious. The man's screams of anger were drowned out by another quick shot of tranquilizer.

Another one, a girl's Pichu, scurried away as fast as it could. In seconds, a dart struck it's tiny body and left the poor creature tumbling down the cobblestone path.

"We have a gathering of captured trainers here. On your order, we'll take their Pokemon."

'Go. Make sure that nothing stops you. That'll be more test material for our fusion experiments'

The terrified screams of the people would be heard by anyone surrounding, including Whinter, Kristina, and David- as the citizen's Pokemon were beginning to be ripped away from them.

Steve did not dare break his ballet as the Gengar made fun of him or that the man in front of him chuckled. No showing off his ballet in front of a audience was something that needed to be done. The mans Gengar kept laughing at him as it joined him in his Ballet, to Steve that was a complement of the highest degree. Being copied in dance showed that Steve could very well be a ballet dance...if it were for another issue Steve always had...Anger management problems. But there was no cause of anger here only enjoyment in the audience. When the man asked Steve if he was really part of Team Void, Steve missed a step and tried to recover but merely fell down and ruined his ballet.

Steve stayed there for a moment in pain that his ballet was ruined by such a cruel man talking to him during a performance!!! Steve let out a roar as he stood up and flexed his muscles to the cruel man! With a raging voice coming out from the mask Steve yelled at the man!

"HOW! DARE! YOU! YOU RUINED IT!! You ruined Steve's performance!! Now....Now Steve~"

And he gets cut off by a running passerby bumping into him. Steve looked back at the passerby fully turning to face them. Steve grabs the man by the neck lifting him off the ground chocking him. Steve then turns to the alley he came out of and throws the poor man down it, before turning back to Slade.

"...Now Steve Ruin you!!"

And with that Steve bull rushed at Slade arms out stretched to grab and 'ruin' Slade just like he ruined Steve's ballet performance!!!
