Aka "reasonable headcanons." I'm looking for a fight so bring it or post yours.
Sakura's confession to Naruto was genuine and when he rejected it on the grounds that she was "lying to herself" she realized that he wanted Sasuke back so badly he had actually started shipping SasuSaku. She had genuinely fallen in love with Naruto and had begun to patch up the damage Sasuke had done to her but didn't want to put Naruto through any more emotional pain and decided to channel her younger self so she could convince herself to fall back in love with this piece of s**t for Naruto's sake. She then started shipping NaruHina herself because it was the only alternative left.
tl;dr she really loved him but forcibly friendzoned herself to avoid hurting him further.

I haven't wanted to post since I don't wish to fight. >.> But mostly because I agree with you!
I thought over Shippuden that Naruto and Sakura were moving together/becoming closer. That she no longer loved Sasuke and saw that it was a childish fantasy. Instead, it seemed, like she realized that she was truly in love with Naruto; someone who loved her in return and wanted nothing but to protect her and be with her. Seeing that those two ended up not being together was a surprise, to say the least. eek
In general it saddened/confused me to see all that build up for them to end up with Naru/Hina and Saku/Sasu. sweatdrop

Was my drunken head bash literally the latest thing posted on this guild what the actual ******** it up guys. I got darted like a ******** rhinoceros and went to state mandated therapy at least I have an excuse for not posting.
