Now, I know this was in the application-thing, but I think it would be interesting to see everyone's favorite/least favorite character and why.
My favorite... well, it used to be Sirius, and then it changed to Snape, but I'm sad to say that after HBP I was a tad heart broken and in a moment of weakness my favorite character changed back to Sirius Black. xp Don't get me wrong, I still love Snape, but... crying Bah! It's just so hard to looove him after that! I know that sounds so horrible... But anyways, I love Sirius because... well, he's just awesome. Hehehe. I love his personality, his looks, his sense of humor, and his everything.
And my least favorite is Cornelius Fudge. scream He drives me up a WALL! He's just so mean and narrow minded. He was so bent on keeping his job that he was willing to let horrible things happen and bad-mouth the good guys!
So... Discuss/Debate:
-Favorite characters -Least favorite characters -Changes of heart -And that special/annoying something about a character that you just can't put your finger on
4laugh
(By the way, I didn't know if this should go in the character forum, or here. So I decided to do the safe thing and put it here. I didn't wanna be yelled at! gonk )

Of course, it all starts and ends with Harry, and I really do like Harry quite a bit. I almost always pick him in the "favorite character" polls. While he's my favorite overall, though, he's not always my favorite to read.
I like the twins for the obvious reason: They're very funny to read. Almost all of my laugh out loud moments have come from reading the twins' scenes or Dumbledore. I also love reading Dumbledore, because there's always some great information imparted to us when Dumbledore speaks. You have to really pay attention to his scenes and pick up on the little things. I like Neville, too. He's so sweet and I've really enjoyed watching his character develop over the series. I disagree with the popular belief that he will be key in the last book, though.

I still love Regulus. I know, I know, it's almost impossible to love someone we haven't read. But I've looked, analysed, and put together enough that I'm sure he's not as terrible as Sirius wanted it to sound like he was. The Regulus in my head is awesome, and I REALLY hope we learn more about him in book 7.

Theodore Nott (I believe there's so much more to him), Luna Lovegood, and Neville Longbottom. And Seamus. And Blaise. I just love the minor characters.

Sirius is my favorite character. Lucius (sp?) is my least favorite.
I do love Harry (Who doesn't?) but the minor characters like Blaise and Theodore Nott should receive more credit, and i love the idea of Harry having a friend in Slytherin, like one who doesn't support Voldemort. Theodore Nott is my only choice since we have seen where Blaise's loyalties lie. I really hope he's good.
