I'm not just talking genera here.
Do you hate it when you get a point when you have to write about the scene with the end boss? Maybe an awkward moment between characters? Suspense? Description? Back story?
And why?
For me I hate writing battle scenes. Especially big ones. They are important to the stories I write but they are so hard and there's always more I feel like I could have added I just don't know how to word what I see in my head.

Battle scenes are a definite weakness of mine.
If you want to go off the Pg-13 end of the scale, I also fail at writing any real lemony, make out kinda scenes.
It tends to be rather awkward and kinda disturbing.
I think endings are also hard to write.
Wrapping up the story and trying to find a good stopping point... something fitting for the characters.
It requires a lot of thinking and consideration usually.
Oh Oh. I've also found a new hate for Heists / Break ins, especially high security type deals.
Having to be sneaky and all that techy mumbo jumbo. Yeaaa, no thanks!

Thirding the battle scenes. Or involved action scenes. I want to relate the chaos and speed that a battle would have, but having to describe things and having multiple participants makes that hard. I end up slimming down descriptions and POVs to make it simpler, but then they seem like weaker prose than surrounding sections. Or I'll just skip past the battle altogether. razz That works as long as the battle itself is not that important. But when you get to plot-critical battles that can turn the tide, you can't skip them...

Thank you. This is why my writing has seemingly no romance in it; situations are implied and aren't written in explicit detail mainly because I find it awkward, bordering on painful to write. I don't know what that says about me as a person, but I just can't write "lemons".

Bloody or gory scenes. Grrr. I like to keep all of my stories as clean as possible, in both senses of the word. This is why I don't have any bloody scenes in my fan fictions. Sure, I may mention an injury or two, but I refuse to go into details.
Action/battle scenes are hard for me too. If you read my first Powerpuff Girls fan fiction on deviantART, you'll notice the cutaway just as the main character's about to fight an enemy.
