After two years of neglect, I have picked up and started working again on one of my unfinished stories.

Anyone else sometimes take year-long or longer breaks before finishing a work?

Quite often I go months without thinking about a story. Sometimes it helps with writers block.

I love it when an author picks up a story they haven't worked on in forever. Especially if its a story I really loved and was sad never to see a conclusion to it.

Finishing? I never finish my stories to begin with.

Ever.

But I must be going on...in actuality...possibly six or seven years NOT going back to one story quite dear to me. And with this latest fanfic...it's already been over a year...

Thinking about them, however...
...painful as that is, it happens all the time...Various stories. Some original, some fanfiction...

Years and years and years...
