RULES
✓ Gift above 50 million gold [50,000.000g], we want you to be giving, and we want to deter people who may use this thread for profit from just giving junk in their inventories. If you don't have enough to gift just hold off until you do. Please have the average buy price of the item you are gifting as well as the lowest buy price above this amount.
✓ Try and gift within 15-30 minutes of posting in the thread. People don't like feeling like they were skipped, or like they were forgotten. We understand if it takes you a little longer if you're going through our wishlist.
✕ Do not gift anonymously, to make sure everyone is giving and receiving a gift, we ask that you do not gift anonymously so the person receiving the gift can be sure who it was from.
✕ Do not post again until you have gifted the person above you from the previous post.
✕ Before you report someone for not gifting to a moderator, please message them giving them a chance to gift you. Sometimes people may forget or get distracted, it may be an honest mistake. Treat people with kindness and give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to ban anyone over a simple accident or mistake.
✓ If you are banned and you feel it was an accident, you can simply pm "improvised reality" with an explanation, and I may accept you back into the guild depending on the situation.
✕ No mule accounts will be permitted, if you are caught using one, you will be banned permanently from the guild.
✓ Feel free to send a trade if you want to gift gold, or numerous items. If you are caught cancelling the trade, you will be banned. Do not gift the minimum or right around the minimum in gold repeatedly.
If you are caught breaking the rules of this thread, you may be banned from the guild, meaning no more gifting or receiving for you.
FAQ
✎ Someone didn't gift me, what do I do?
✏ PM them first, if they are rude or you have further issues, contact "improvised reality" with a copy of the messages you have had. If no messages between you exist simply explain the situation.
✎ What if I gift something worth a whole lot more than what I receive?
✏ This will happen, but honestly, you shouldn't expect to receive more than you give, that will just breed unhappiness. Focus on making other people happy, good things tend to happen to giving people.
✎ There's already a Gift the Person Above You thread in the Charity/Quests forums, why did you make another?
✏ The concept is exactly the same, but is no real way to ban people from a thread in public forums or to reinforce the rules of the thread. I hope to keep the thread fair. If are not gifted and I had to ban the person below you, you will receive a gift from me in place of the user who didn't gift.

You know what makes me sad? There's no tip post button in guild forums. I wish there was, I normally like to tip the people who gift me, though I guess 25 gold doesn't make much of a difference. It's more of the thought that counts I think.
