sad Nina's was REALLY SAD.(Because watching kids die is so sad ;n wink
So was Hughes cuz the funeral

Most of the deaths made me sad, and as we all know, the death toll in the 2003 series was ridiculous. ><;;
I even felt sad during the homunculi deaths, because at that point in the anime, they were beginning to show just how human the homunculi were; capable of expressing emotion and meaningful desires just like everybody else.
The death that really pissed me off though, was the very brief one in Conqueror of Shamballa, when Alphonse sees that building crumble in front of him and realizes exactly who was in there. I don't feel like spoiling who it was for the people who haven't seen it, but I felt like that death was just unnecessarily thrown in for the sole purpose of making things sadder. =/
