So, I was browsing the archives on fanficiton.net and what do I find? They have completely redone the filtering system! They have finally, finally added the ONE feature I have been begging for for almost the past three years:

A way to EXCLUDE things from your searches.

Now, I can tell the filters to show me all the fictions about a certain character except for fictions within the genre of "Romance". Or, all the fictions within a certain genre except for ones about a specific character.

This will make my searches much, much more efficient and vastly improve my fan fiction experience.

How about you?

I just saw that when I got onto the site and thought the filters had disappeared. I was like No crying then when I switched to reading another series of fanfics I saw the filter button and saw everything pop up. its pretty awesome

I've been on fanfiction for a while now and the new filtering system threw me off. It's nice that there is finally a way to exclude things. I always hated having other characters thrown into my filters that i didn't want.
