The Beach
The sun always seems to shine at the beach. The weather was dry and warm that day, it was perfect for getting a natural tan and catching up on novels. Dressed in a simple red bikini, the scarlet contrasting against ivory skin appealingly, Yutsue allowed for a peaceful sigh to escape her lips. She was fully aware of the eyes of women and men alike, in their silent way they were praising her, worshiping her; she felt like a goddess. Her thin, manicured piano fingers brushed over the page in her hardcover novel, preparing to flip the page.
"Consider a rose, Madeline. The petals so soft, delicate, and winding. It gives the flower a complicated appearance, does it not? Yet, when you really think about it, a rose is actually, quite simple. It desires to be secluded...to be the grace of few eyes, so it grows thorns in hopes for protection. I, with comparable beauty, must be protected from those who dare to touch." The character in the novel, Candice, was a particular favorite of Yutsue's. She was a cynical protagonist, even comically so. Her beauty was described to be that of another world, she was so suave and graceful...Yutsue sometimes longed to be her. Something about the passage seemed to strike a cord, it sounded very familiar... She turned the page back to reread, but something wet and moving landed on her reading material instead.
"Look what I found!!" Seiku exclaimed excitedly, it was obvious that he was having a good time as well. He was completely soaked, but a stupid grin had settled on his face.
"What...is this thing...?" She asked, sliding the sand covered rock off her book "It's disgusting! There's mold all over it!"
"What?! Nuh-uh!" He picked up the round rock in both his hands and looked all around.
"How else would you explain the green color?"
Seiku blinked his ice colored eyes. "Because...it's a turtle�"
"What?" Yutsue lifted her head just enough to be face to face with a turtle's head. Her eyes widened, she clapped a hand over her mouth to silence any scream as she moved far from where she first lay. "What--what are you doing with that?!"
"I thought the little guy was cool."
"It most definitely is not! Get that THING away from me!"
Sei pouted, and he looked down at his aquatic friend. "No respect for animalistic life whatsoever." He gave the turtle a pat on the head and set him back down. "Go! Be free!"
The two characters watched as the animal walked at a, well, turtle's speed, for the better part of two minutes before Yutsue let out a huff. "Honestly, you are interested in the strangest things. You've even ruined my book in the process!"
"Eh? Oh, Sorry." He said with a sheepish look, bending down to peer at the soaked pages. "What were you reading?"
"I doubt you really care. I doubt you can even read."
"Whaa?! I can so read! I was home schooled until I was twelve, y'know!"
"Hm."
Seiku's cheeks swelled further as his pout deepened. "Fine. Ignore me. I don't care; can I go to the surf shop and get a board at least?"
Yutsue, with another novel, waved her hand nonchalantly and handed him a credit card. "Careful though, there aren't any life guards on this beach. The last thing I want is to give you CPR or something�"
"Hm...maybe I should go drown then�"
"Hey, I didn't say that I would even let my flawless lips touch you. If you were drowning, I'd let you drown."
"Harsh."
"Such is the beauty of a rose..."

~Don't look for me come daybreak~ By the time Terra reached the beach, slave in hand, she was laughing loudly. She stopped at a food stand, still smiling as she looked back at him. "What do you want and how much of it?" ~I only come out after nightfall.~

She stopped at a food stand, still smiling as she looked back at him. "What do you want and how much of it?" ~I only come out after nightfall.~ "Food and alot...." Shi looked at the menu and his eyes popped out of his head. "Wow.... Can I have all of it?" he asked her seriously, his eyes lightling up a bit.

"Here" She handed him the food. "Have fun." ~I only come out after nightfall.~ Shi brought it all to the table and opened each box one by one, finishing it all off quickly. "Thank you mistress," he said, then clapped his hands to his mouth when he realized what he said. I did not just go soft again.... Damn it.... Shi sighed and took the trash to the dumpster, then walked back to Terra. "Mistress, what is your name?"

Shi asks meekly, for once feeling submissive, but not being afraid by it.... ((I am sorry mistress, but I will be getting off for a bit.... A kiss and my love until I get back.... heart ))

That's silly, he want's to all me mistress? Well.. he's still uber adorable! She couldn't resist giving him another hug, though, now that he was standing her hug looked a bit more awkward... because he was taller then her. ~I only come out after nightfall.~ Shi smiled and slowly hugged her back, barely touching his fingers on the otherside of her. No one had treated him lik ethis before.... Maybe she was different.... "Ummmm.... Mistress? Would you mind if we went to your home? I think I would lik tto see where I will be staying...."

"It really is a shame that you mutilated yourself in that cage, you'd have been much cuter if you hadn't..." ~I only come out after nightfall.~ Shi smiled at her softly. "It was get myself in the infirmary, or die of starvation.... I felt that life with some scars for a short time, would be better then that death...."
