The Battle Arena
"Why are we here again?"
"I told you...the arena is opening today and I'm here as a guest."
"Wow..."
Walking into the wings of the building, several different weapons lined the walls, and piled on the floor. "Katana, nunchaku, bo, bokuto, shinai, kunai, sharinken, spear, bokken, escrima, kama, tonfa, aikuchi, shaken, chakram, and sai..." Sei listed as he passed them by. "This place is huge!"
"I suppose it is rather well endowed. I've been told that the actual arena is a sight as well."
The arena, indeed, was very impressive. Half a mile in diameter, and shaped in a circle, it almost resembled the Coliseum. The ground was made of concrete, the perfect amount of friction. Thousands of people could easily fit in the seats above. It was strange, really. It was one of the hugest buildings Seiku had seen in his life and it was dedicated to the sport of beating up each other. Well, people liked what they liked. The city of Jeidin was no different.
"Do you even know anything about fighting, Yutsue?"
"I know enough..." She said, sitting in the bench nearby. "But I really couldn't care less about the sport...any sport for that matter. I have better things to do."
It goes without saying that Yutsue looked particularly stunning that day. An elegant slate black dress surrounded her, complimenting the right curves and bringing out the right features of her face. It hugged her chest and stomach, but flared slightly from her hips and ended with a flourish at her black high heeled shoes. It was rather simple really, but the beauty of the host made it look like so much more. Her crimson hair fell around her. Nothing was done to primp it; it lay as if it were a river of glistening curls.
"You're no fun. I used to take a bunch of sports when I was younger. It kept me out of the house. But I liked martial arts the best, here, come at me. I'll show you a thing or two."
"I think not."
"Aww, c'mon!" Seiku whined falling on his mistress from behind in a comical gesture. His head rested in the bend between her neck and shoulder, as his arms landed on each side of her nape.
"Please remove yourself from my shoulders."
"You're too up tight. We're barely in public. Talk like a normal person."
Yutsue closed her eyes for a moment as if she were contemplating something. "Maybe if you got the hell offa me, then I'd be less of a tightass. But if you really want me to loose all restraints, then you would have died several times."
Seiku gave an amused look. "That's better." He lowered his gaze. "You know, Yutsue, you have really nice boobs."
Yutsue had no words to say, but by instinct, Yutsue clenched her hand into a tight fist and elbowed her attacker in the ribs, pinning him to the wall. She brought up her fist to make an L shape with her arm, and slammed her fist in an upward motion. Finally, she brought her other hand to snatch his throat. "You deserve to die."
"Is it really my fault that you flaunt those things everywhere?" The slow closing of his breathing passages was enough to tell him to apologize; which he did. Though, Yutsue didn't respond. She only gave a defeated look and sat back down. If my parents or Namiko were here, they'd be so angry. What the hell is this idiot doing to me.
