Aw man, hm...
I'd try another creative outlet for a while, like painting or photography. I'm not sure how it helps me; perhaps it helps me find inspiration? Or maybe sometimes I need a break from writing, I dunno. But that's what I would do! smile

I usually just stop trying and start playing something (Ace Attorney emotion_awesome ). After a few hours, I'd try again.

However, if there's some sort of deadline that's fast approaching, I'd find myself staring at the computer screen intently. Like I'm forcing my brain to work.

I honestly just stop writing until I receive any inspiration. From reading, watching movies, TV shows, and listening to music, I typically get ideas for my stories. Sometimes my writers block will last month, but I try not to rush anything. I am really busy with work and hanging out with my boyfriend and friends so I am not on much anymore. Back when I was in school, I had even less time to write. I do not mind taking breaks. It helps me in the long run.
