Ok so things are going off swimmingly, but a lot of what I've seen recently is that we have a lot of great rps, but no events or anything to really pull us together. So I have devised a way to fix that.
Weekly events similar to the Ask the Admin.
Now I originally planned this to be for our characters. Like Nightlight, Pitch, even OC's like Cupid, Mother Nature and others! This gives everyone a period in the spotlight here we can delve deeper into the minds and mannerisms of characters. And in general get to know them better than what the character profile provided.
However I noticed that this does leave out a good chunk of some of our members that do not wish to have a character, instead they wish to just watch rps unfold because that's what they prefer. So in order to give everyone the attention the deserve so we get to know real people as well!
So here's where you come in! I want to know what you think of it, when you want to hold the interviews, (By the way I'm hoping for one a week so that we can use the dusty warren so think of a day and a time) and if you even want to see an event like this? Also any other suggestions would be lovely.
I also think it be appropriate that the first interview go to the Captain, Pitch, however I will leave it up to you to vote and decide which Captain/Vice Captain you'd like to see answer all of your questions (No matter what unless it doesn't follow ToS)

Oh I should also mention. That once you do your first interview, there will be a cycling through of at least others who are wanting to do this as well so everyone gets a chance.
Also if you're wanting to be interviewed, say so in your post with your ideas and everything and I'll compile a list.

I would love to see a "featured" member of the week. It goes at RANDOM, not most active/etc. Like a RNG between all of the members.
They can be asked questions, give information, showcase art, their photos,etc.

Ok, so instead of just an interview, have a whole featured week for that member and start the week off with a bang with the interview to get people interested?
I do know I plan to let everyone go through the process at least once before repeats. Now if someone, like me, has a separate character then that would mean that they would end up getting it more than once, but it would be once per go. I would technically get 3 times since I have myself as a person, Nightlight, and Blacklight. However for each of those they would be in character. But I would make sure that it be spread out (Since we have so many members) so that there's not going to be me three weeks in a row.
Same with someone like yourself. You would get a week for yourself as a person, and a week for Estelle. However, they would be spaced out so it's not you for 2 weeks in a row and other people have a chance to go.
I'm planning on also the member of the week being either by vote on who the members want to see, or I may list all the names on like a word doc with a number for each person and do a random number drawing out of a hat or something.

☽ Nightlight, brightlight, Sweet dreams I bestow. . . ☾ So far it looks like the character Pitch. emotion_dowant And if he's up first and there's a slow spot for questions, we'll have to ask him really hard or embarrassing stuff! (Real Me, that is, Iris would go completely blank, mostly asking why he chose to bake and all that. My mother is annoyed by my questions. xd )

So are there any other ideas guys? Because as far as Make it a featured person of the week, is there anything else? I think it would be best to plan the interview to be at a regular time each week For example every Sunday at 5pm. Then the interview last 1-2 hours or until the person who is getting interview decides they're done. And during that interview, there be a poll with at least 3 new characters of the interviewee's choice, making sure to note if it's the character or the actual person. Then at the end of the voting at the end of the interview will determine next weeks victim Spotlight member.

☽ Nightlight, brightlight, Sweet dreams I bestow. . . ☾ Ok guys, I think I figured this thing out. The interview will last a full week starting Sunday. I have a list of all the members on the guild along with the rp characters and OC's All of the captains will recieve this numbered list of members so that we stay on the same page, and at some point during the week a random number will be chosen between 1 and x (x Being the number of members currently including rp characters.) This will eliminate repeats until everyone has had a chance to be spotlighted. If your number is picked, you will be promptly notified by pm that you're next week's spotlight and you will need to message back to accept it or decline. If nothing is heard from in a few days then a new number will be chosen and your name will be put back onto the list in hopes we can get you at a better time. If we don't hear anything after the second time of being chosen then your name will be taken off until everyone has gone and the list is refreshed. One hour before the event begins, I will give time for the spotlight member to gussy up their beginning post to their thread as they like and either myself or one of the other captains will send out an announcement announcing that it is time for the event to begin and to start showing the love with appropriate links. Then a number will be chosen and the cycle begins anew. ☽ Sleep tight, all night, Forever I will glow~ ☾
