My first cosplay was Fionna the Human.
The character itself looks plus size, so having the same hair color, I jumped on that. Everything, luckily, was easy to get. Everything, for both my son and I, that wasn't the hat/backpack/dolls was found at goodwill, and cost me less than 15$ for the two of us. His hat was free since I bought the Fionna one, so I spent, on the two of us for the cosplays, a total of 92$

I wouldn't have minded one bit. I'm just happy to see more plus sized cosplayers now a days. I knew people before who were so obsessed with looking just like the character that they were miserable because their hips were too wide or someone had made fun of them because of them being bigger than the real character.I'm glad some people are making bigger boned characters like Fionna and Flame Princess. They're positive role models unlike other big characters you see that are clearly drawn to be ugly.
