Humanoid in apprentice bête diabolique is one of the only other worldly thing to be seen by normal humans and interact with them but most humans tend to shy away from them after getting a uneasy feeling which is caused from the beast unquenchable blood lust the most famous one being named jack the ripper . Besides there there human like apprentice they tend to but not always have a large build and a stair that seems like there looking through you.
They always carry around a item from the moment of birth something that meant a lot to them in there last life anything from a simple ring to a shard of there former hollow mask this item is called “massacre d'âme”. The massacre d'âme is the hollow equivalent to a resurreccion in form allowing it to change its shape into a much stronger monster.

By a command and calling its name the massacre d'âme is released adding to the its aggression it will attack a moving target and not stopping till its dead. Bête diabolique are very intelligent when comes planing and working together to reach a common goal.
Once a fearsome fighter there locked away far below the forest of Menos left to be forgotten by the hollows and Shinigami that sealed them away. Every now and then a fragment of there reiatsu escapists the seal and enters the forest of Menos and enters the body of dieing hollows creating a bete diabolique rarely do they escape the forest to enter the human world but as the case with jack the ripper they do get though only to be quickly exterminated by Quincy's and Shinigami.
They feed on both human and hollow by eating away on the negative emotions like fear, anger, and dread, the stronger negative emotions are the stronger he will become which is why hollows are there favorite food for they are almost pure sorrow, anger, dread, and fear, all in one massive package. They are also known to use humans to draw out shinigami an other one of there favorite food but not not always worth the time waiting around as the humans fear grows next to them instead they eat the human wale waiting for the shinigami to come to there aid.
Members of squad 11 of the Shinigami Gotei 13 should not engage in combat with this beast there thurst for battle and rage will only make this monster stronger the longer the fight gos. They are advised to wait for other shinigami for back up and then stand down only engage if human live are endangered
