Darian watched with some amusement as Laika fell to the floor once she realized Ringo had arrived. Humility was an odd look for her when it came to other humans. The posture didn't last long though, as Ringo told her there was no need to bow and she quickly righted herself. Her discomfort was obvious as she brushed nonexistent dirt from her jacket. As she was doing this, Blade humbly asked Ringo if he could either join the fight or join him in watching it from the observation deck. Before he got an answer, yet another person came into Darian's lab. "At this rate we'll have the whole of Team Void in here within a few minutes." he thought to himself while shaking his head slightly.

This newest arrival was one of the medics of Team Void. Darian easily recognized her from her appearance, pink eyes and purple hair were an odd mix to say the least. She too asked if she could join Ringo in the observation deck, presumably to help heal the pokemon after the battle. Seeing Laika leaving, Darian housed Luseviot inside it's Poke Ball before saying "Shall we?" and followed after the departing form of Laika. On the way through the halls, Laika seemed to relax a little, going so far as to talk to Ringo in her usual way when they reached the observation deck.

Not waiting for Ringo and the others to go inside, Darian continued past them and towards the arena itself. Once he got there he took up his position in one of the three courts and took out Luseviot's Poke Ball. "Let's see what you can do." he said, throwing the Poke Ball in the air and releasing his newest creation. Once it felt the ground beneath it's feet, Luseviot gave a roaring challenge that Laika would be able to hear on her way there.

Darian watched with Luseviot as Laika walked in and sent out her Aggron, Bossonova. The large steel and rock type roared its own challenge, slammed its fist into its hand, and its tail into the ground. The loud clanging noises caused by the motions simply made Darian smirk, he'd fought it often enough to know when it was ready for a fight and trying to show it. Before they could actually start however, Laika seemed to stare off into space for a few seconds before Bossonova swung his tail at her, narrowly missing. Darian simply shook his head at the spectacle. Laika and her pokemon were unsual, there was no denying that.

When they seemed ready to actually begin, Darian made the first move. "She's using steel to negate Luseviot's poison, but there is much, much more he can do." He thought to himself with another smirk, an idea for the whole battle already in his head. "Aqua Tail Luseviot. Show him your speed." With a roar, the pokemon hybrid lept into the air and fly straight at the large metallic pokemon, rings of water spiralling around its tail. As soon as it got close enough, it angled itself so that it would turn left past the Aggron and swung its tail directly at its center mass. Whether it hit or not, it was only step one in Darian's plan for the fight.

As Bossonova caught Luseviot's tail between his arm and side, Luseviot felt the vice-like grip and didn't bother trying to fly away. Instead, he landed just as Bossonova pulled back his right arm and his right hand was surrounded in a bluish-white icy glow. As Bossonova's fist descended toward Luseviot's tail, Darian had to make a choice between his trump card and using an attack that would allow him to gather more data, he chose the latter. "Double Kick Luseviot." He said calmly, though it would be clearly heard by everyone involved in the battle.

As the Ice Punch came close to hitting his tail, Luseviot lashed out with his back legs. In quick succession his left and right hind leg snapped out back at Bossonova's torso. It was a normally weak attack, but it would become quite powerful if it connected due to Bossonova's type. Darian was banking on the close proximity forcing Bossonova to take the hit. Luseviot would certainly be damaged from the Ice Punch, but Bossonova would most likely be in worse shape from the damage of the Aqua Tail and Double Kick combined.

As Luseviot felt his tail let freed and impacted the Protect with his kicks, he quickly turned to face his opponent once more. The ice that had formed around Luseviot's tail crackled as he moved, small cracks forming in the ice. It wasn't a complete freeze, but it would hamper his movement until it melted and broke off. As such, Luseviot slammed his tail into the ground without a moment's hesitation, shattering the ice that incased it. Darian simply looked on as he assessed the potency of Luseviot's attacks. He was testing whether or not attacks that were not Luseviot's type became less effective when he used them, a common problem with his earliest experiments. Between the Aqua Tail and Double Kick, Darian was fairly certain his newest experiment did not suffer from that particular flaw.

"It's time to move on to seeing how he does with attacks of his own type." Darian thought to himself. Of course, Aggron was immune to poison and thus no good for that particular portion of the test. He'd have to be defeated first, preferably as soon as possible. "Luseviot, use Earthquake." Hearing his master's order, Luseviot raised his right front leg, before bringing it crashing down to the ground. Shockwaves could be seen radiating outward in all directons, Bossonova well within range. If the attack hit, it would most likely put an end to the fight then and there.

As Laika had Bossonova use Magnet Rise, Darian let out a small sound of annoyance. She was making this battle far longer than it needed to be. As Bossonova came barreling toward Luseviot with Heavy Slam, Darian gave his order "Get behind him with Quick Attack." As the large Aggron closed in on the pokemon hybrid, Luseviot vanished only to reappear several feet behind him. "Hurricane Luseviot. Slam him into the wall." Darian commanded, and Luseviot obeyed. It unfurled it wings, which began to glow, before flapping them at the speeding Bossonova. A fierce wind was sent straight at the Aggron with the intention of pushing him into the wall, his Magnet Rise and momentum aiding Luseviot in that task.

If he was hit and pushed to the wall, Darian would use the opening to hit it with Thunder. He'd tried to end it quickly but Laika simply wasn't allowing that, so he would test what same type attacks he could on Aggron. So far, the Hurricane seemed to have the proper strength it should. As such, he had hopes the other attacks would as well.

Darian watched Bossonova hit the wall with some measure of satisfaction, but the large pokemon recovered before Luseviot had a chance to strike him. The ensuing Stone Edge was more annoying than anything else, as it would ensure any attack that got through the wall of rocks and hit Bossonova would be greatly weakened. Even so, Darian didn't bother having Luseviot dodge and instead gave it the command "Blast through with Thunder." The hybrid's body was covered in electricity as it sent out a large bolt of lightning lancing through the air. It smashed into the rocks that would have hit Luseviot, reducing them to pebbles as it continued through toward Bossonova. If it hit, the power left inside wouldn't do much of anything. But it would at least bring this battle closer to an end.

Blade walked into the battle area and went to the side of the area so as to watch the battle going on right now. Blade just stands there like a statue and doesn't move as Gem does the same thing. Only there eyes move as they watch the fight.
