A forest that lies west of Narcene City and at the east end of Skyarrow Bridge.

Orion Wraith

As Orion walked through Pinwheel Forest, he couldn't help but admire the beauty of nature, even if he was trying to hurry to the Pokemon Center in Narcene City. The snow covered trees were simply that amazing a sight. Several times he was stopped by trainers who were looking for a fight after not being able to find the pokemon they were searching for, each time he declined. His pokemon could have used the practice, but he also wanted to avoid taking a long time before healing Ouragan and Growly.

After he was about half-way through the forest, by his estimate, he was blocked by a wild Sewaddle. "Sew!" it said, standing in the middle of the path and staring him down. Knowing there was no way to get around the fight, Orion took out a pokeball and threw it into the air. "Go, Panzer!" he said as the red light shot to the ground and coalesced into his Mewoth. Looking at the Sewaddle standing before him, Panzer let out a low hiss and unsheathed his claws.

The Sewaddle let out a String Shot, hoping to stop Panzer from moving, but the Meowth dodged to his right and charged straight at the bug. Before he could get close and Scratch it though, it launched an Energy Ball and blasted him in the chest. Panzer landed on his feet several feet away, but the attack had dealt some damage. As Panzer growled at his opponent, Orion said "Use Aerial Ace and destroy it!"

In response, Panzer charged straight at the bug, jumping into the air as it let loose another Energy Ball that barely missed. As the Meowth came back to earth it seemed to fly at an angle straight at the Sewaddle and swung its right claw at it. The Sewaddle, hit by the flying type move, was knocked back several feet, unconcious. "Good job Panzer. Come on back for now." Orion said, returning the Meowth to his Poke Ball and continuing on his way through the forest.

Orion Wraith

Orion had been walking through the forest for hours, though he hadn't had anymore interruptions like with the Sewaddle earlier, before he finally saw the edge of the forest. Picking up speed, he rushed towards Nacrene City, but bumped right into a trainer that was going into the forest from the opposite direction. The two were each knocked back a step but would have stayed on their feet, if it hadn't been for the snow causing them to slip and fall onto their butts. "Sorry. I'm kind of in a hurry and wasn't looking." Orion said to the female trainer as he got up out of snow and offered her his hand. Accepting the offered help, the trainer said "Its fine. I'll accept a battle as apology." with a mischievous look in her eye.

Orion had said no to everyone else who had challenged him while in the forest because he'd been rushing towards Nacrene City. But since the city was just through the trees and seeing as he had knocked her down by mistake, he took out a Poke Ball and said "Alright then. But a short one if that's alright. Two of my pokemon need to go to the Pokemon Center in Nacrene." Nodding in understanding, his opponent took out her own Poke Ball and sent out a Piplup. Seeing an opportunity to get some training for Sylvan and hoping the cold wouldn't bother the grass type too much, Orion switch the Poke Ball he had been planning to use and sent out Sylvan instead of Panzer.

The moment the Snivy appeared in the snow, a shiver went up it's entire body and it started to turn toward Orion to tell him off. That is, until it caught sight of the Piplup and realized it was in for a battle. Looking straight at the water type, Sylvan waited for it to make a move or for Orion to give an order. The Piplup reacted first, it's trainer having it use peck on the grass type. "Sylvan, use Vine Whip to pull into a tree!" At his command, the leaflets on either side of Sylvan's neck elongated into vines that he used to grab a branch overhead and pull himself up, the Piplup's peck just barely missing his feet on the way by. Startled by it's target not being where it should be, the Piplup looked straight up at the Sylvan hanging several feet in the air by vines.

"Energy Ball now!" Orion said, trying to seize the momentary opening caused by the Piplup's confusion. Once he heard, Sylvan opened his mouth and green energy began collecting there. Once a solid ball of energy was formed, Sylvan launched it at the still staring Piplup. "Dodge it!" the female trainer yelled. As the Piplup moved to comply with that order by jumping out of the way, the Energy Ball struck it in the back. The grass attack knocked the Piplup into the ground and caused a small plume of dust and snow as it hit. Once the airborne debris cleared, the trainers could see the Piplup laying there, unconcious.

"Piplup, return." The female trainer said, putting her Piplup back into it's Poke Ball. "Not bad," she said to Orion as Sylvan descended from the tree, "But its not over yet." In her hand, sat yet another Poke Ball, which she now threw into the air.

Out of the light that poured from the airborne Poke Ball came a decent sized bird pokemon Orion had never seen before. Taking out his black Pokedex, Orion aimed it's small camera eye at the bird and waited for whatever information it would give. "Staravia, the Starling Pokemon. It lives mainly in forests and fields, traveling in large flocks. It is a common sight in the Sinnoh Region." Satisfied with what it had to say, Orion put away his Pokedex and looked at this new opponent. Normally he'd have switched out Sylvan for Panzer, but he could tell from Sylvan's stance that he wanted to continue the fight.

Accepting it's wishes, Orion said "Alright, grab it with Vine Whip!" Once more the leaflets on Sylvan's shoulders lengthened to wines, rather than grabbing a tree branch this time they lashed out at the bird pokemon who took to the air. Try as he might, Sylvan couldn't grab onto the more maneuverable bird while it was in the air. As the vines missed the Staravia for the fourth time, it's trainer had it use Aerial Ace. Traveling parallel to the vines, it swooped directly at Sylvan and struck him full in the chest. The grass type was knocked backward to slam into a tree and fall to the ground, unconcious after the supereffective flying attack. "Return Sylvan." Orion said, pointing Sylvan's Poke Ball at him.

Once the red light that was Sylvan disappeared into his Poke Ball, Orion threw another and said "Let's finish this Panzer." Once the Meowth appeared, it immediately unsheathed his claws and licked it's lips while looking at it's opponent. Apparently hoping to finish the fight before Panzer could make a move, the female trainer said "Strike with Brave Bird!" causing her Staravia to glow before flying straight at Panzer. As she did so, Orion and Panzer simultaneously smiled.

"Thunder Panzer!" Orion ordered. With a growl, his Meowth was ingulfed in electricity and sent a large bolt of it straight at the oncoming Staravia. Having put all of it's energy into it's forward momentum, the bird pokemon had no chance of dodging and took the electric attack head on. "Staaaaarrrrrr!" It screamed as it convulsed from the electricity, before falling back to earth. The two trainers and the Meowth watched the Staravia for several seconds before being sure it was unconcious and not just paralyzed. Sighing, the female trainer returned her pokemon and walked over to Orion.

Holding out her hand she said "It was a nice battle, but I lost." Shaking it, Orion said "It would have been closer if we did a longer battle I'm sure. Maybe I'll see you again sometime." As she gave him his winnings she said "I'd like that." before heading on her way and giving him a wave goodbye. Returning Panzer to his Poke Ball once more, Orion turned his back on his fellow trainer and stepped out of Pinwheel forest and into Nacrene City.

Cool night wind ran through their hair, mussing up clothes and the like. It was late and flying at this hour was dangerous but it was all they could do, could think to do for the moment. They needed to get far and fast and though she regretted that her poor partner had to be driven to such lengths to help them he had agreed when asked. At least he'd gotten a nap in earlier.

What was scariest, she thought, was how they had to go around the west coast for this to work, just over the ocean. If Charzy got to sleepy to fly... well she didn't know what she'd do but she'd sure as hell drown before she lost her best friend. The redhead grit her teeth paying attention only to the rush of the wind in her ears and the quiet, encouraging words she was giving to her Charizard. They had to make it. Not far now. They just had to...

-----------------------------
It was cold and it was dark and she couldn't breathe, couldn't think couldn't- What was going on? Why was she here? Was she going to die?

There was someone... someone calling out, reaching out to her. A woman with her eyes. Yes she could see her now. So why... why...

A flash of light, she could breathe and she was falling. Falling so far and so fast and screaming and she couldn't stop wouldn't stop and she was going to die going to die going to-

Dawn jolted awake digging her hands into the earth beneath her. Her eyes were wide, breathing hard, and she could barely form a coherent thought much less anything sensible. It took her a minute to realize that what she was seeing was the faint light of sunrise streaming in through the leaves of the trees above. She took a deep breathe and released it slowly calming her speeding heart. It felt like something heavy was on her chest and she wondered at it before glancing behind her. An amused smile twitched onto her lips as she saw her starter.

The massive Fire-type was busy snoozing away from his curled position on the ground. One massive wing had lain over her like a blanket explaining the heavy sensation. It usually didn't bother her, but then again she usually slept on her side instead of flat on her back. It must have given her the illusion of drowning while she was dreaming. She sighed and shook her head running a hand through her messy red locks. A quick glance around the camp revealed the dying fire and her two companions still sleeping as well. Understandable, she'd snapped awake rather earlier than she'd expected. Oh well she wouldn't bother them. While it was ideal to travel quickly they had all had a rough night what with their abrupt departure. Still there was no way in hell she was going to get back to sleep after that...

The redhead slipped out from under Charzy's wing her quiet movements doing nothing to rouse the others. She glanced around, considering, before her eyes lay on her bag and her Pokeballs. After a moment of contemplation a slow smile slid on her lips and she picked it up walking out of their little camp. A workout and some meditation would probably do her some good.

An hour later and with jogging pants, tank top, hair band and bandage wrapped hands at the ready Dawn was still having a go at her Mankey the pair of them trading blows like lightning. Her bare feet, calloused from years of training, easily found purchase on the slippery rocks of the stream. She missed a jab to her stomach by a hair's breadth the quick jump back carrying her to another rock. She remained there for only a moment before she pushed off again her fist coming around to perform a right hook that would have made Brel proud... had it not been blocked by Mankey. The pair narrowed their eyes at each other Dawn bringing up her left to block the fighting type's attempt to get a shot in before she threw a crescent kick straight up. The pokemon jumped back just in time and they glared menacingly at each other from their respective rocks. No surrender.

Meanwhile Brel sat playing with a young Darumaka tickling the child as best she could with her oddly shaped hands. She cooed affectionately over the creature much to the little pokemon's delight. Magmar and Vulpix shared a spot nearby the fire types enjoying their shared warmth. Charzy was still snoozing back in the clearing and really didn't want to be disturbed.

Louder than sirens, Louder than bells.
Sweeter than Heaven, And hotter than He-e-e-ell.
As I move my feet...towards your body, I can hear this beat.
It fills my head up and gets lo-o-ouder, and louder.
It fills my head up and gets lo-o-ouder, and louder...

Voices hissed from the shadows, revealing cloaked figures of all shapes and sizes. One was directly behind her in the darkness, whispering with a sharp tongue into her ear...

"Princess of the Void... Your Prince is coming."

—————————————

Long after Dawn had left the camp site, Whinter jolted up with a panicked gasp for air, frantically trying to catch her breath. The poor girl was exhausted after the little trip she and Dawn had taken last night, but not to the point where she thought nightmares were acceptable. Everything was so complicated at that point. Trying to tour Unova without some kind of bad interference was going to be a definite problem, after the incident in town that had taken her by surprise. The Kami Trio was a powerful force, no doubt, but there were far greater challenges, she knew, awaiting them. That aside, the Champion wiped the sweat off of her brow and furrowed her expression, glancing around to take in the scenario.

Eamonn was evidently still asleep, and all of her own teammates were sprawled out, sleeping the morning away while they could. Glaceon lay curled up in Milotic's form, huggled by the serpentine body coiled up. Torterra was, as usual, snoring away under a shady tree a few meters away, unaware of the Pidoves on his back under the leafless tree. Abomasnow was propped up against his side, mimicking the same actions, minus the unknown visitors on him. Whinter sighed with relief, snuggling back up in her Ninetales' several tails. Vixen really didn't need to do that, but the Pokemon was happy to, grateful for such a wonderful trainer. But where was Zoroark? She cocked her head from side to side, trying to find one of her seeing-eyes.

That puzzle was solved when someone held out a ripe Oran berry in front of her face. She stared curiously, before tilting her head upwards to see her Zoroark looking at her with a half-asleep, half-bored look. She smirked for just a second, before taking it and biting down into its skin. "Thanksh, Zoro," she said with a mouthful, watching as he sat meditation-style on the log she was previously using as a pillow. He merely nodded and ate his own, one hand propped on his knee while the other held his berry. "Hey where'd Dawn go?" Again, he said nothing, but pointed between a few trees on the other side of the campgrounds. To Whinter, it was all a big green blur, but she could make out a tiny strip of blue in the distance.

"Figures." The girl got up onto her feet and carefully moved around Vixen's tales as to not step on them, before moving carefully around the various obstacles of the camp site, trying not to trip or fall with the utmost care. Then, reaching out, she felt for the bark of the trees, making her way through a small path before she heard the quiet roars of running water...and the clashing of fists and feet. She sighed and smiled, leaning against a trunk as she watched them battle on. "Breakfast?" she spoke up mid-kicks, rubbing the side of her head as she tried to block out the vision from that dream.

Eamonn could not sleep. Even as he lay against a curled up Dragonite, his Pokemon minus Bishop and Viridian who were both resting in their Pokeballs lying around him, he was still stuck in thought. Insomnia was a bit of a b***h, and it especially did not seem to care for Eamonn. Initially as he had first drifted off, he began to relive memories over and over again, memories that he held no time nor emotion to waste on. They cut too deep. And he was still trying to recover. Silver's face was a constant, always in his face while his parents seemed to be a distant memory. Once upon a time, he wondered if they ever thought of him. But it seemed so unlikely after all that they had done, even if they were no part of it. Their respective organizations had taken action against the champion, as almost everyone knew and they had struck him where it hurt the most...his true family. All of them were gone. Three of his closest friends killed...and the rest taken away into the slavery and the cruelty of the world about them. Many would not have lived with the pain. Eamonn had to. But he knew that the worst thing about it all was the pure fact that he had not been there to do anything about it. Nothing.

His face turned into a grimace as his eyes opened, raising his head slightly from the warm patch of his Dragonite's scales. Dammit. His eyes grew dark, yet still holding a haggard look about them while slowly rising to a stand. I need something to help me get to sleep sometime soon. It had started a couple of days ago. The only solace from the wear and tear of it was pure caffeine, from either tea of coffee he was impartial. Cloud the Dragonite stirred, seeing his Master awaken and merely raised his wing to allow Ea to stand and leave, himself going back to sleep almost immediately, his wings keeping the other Pokemon warm. Eamonn remained quiet, moving towards the Torterra laying at the tree. He didn't touch it. Nor did he seem to have any desire to wake it. His eyes merely gazed at the Pokemon before departing deeper into the woods, only walking in his undershirt, his jacket back with the other Pokemon.

After a while, he came towards a clearing, with a single tree stump in the middle of it. While it may have seemed odd, Eamonn continued walking towards it, sitting Indian style on top of it and closing his eyes, Bishop and Viridian the Haxorus leaving their Pokeballs and sitting in similar positions to the side of their Master, a common morning ritual that was being egged on by their Trainer's lack of sleep. Ea knew that they wanted him to sleep for once...but the fact that it evaded him merely caused his lack of desire to fight for it. So there they sat...for what seemed hours...just meditating and trying to clear their minds.

"No thanks."

Dawn ducked low under a swing, sat on her haunches and then onto her back on the rock. Her legs locked around the still extended arm and with the added momentum she threw the Primeape over her body and into the deeper and less rock ridden side of the stream. The 'deeper' part was not appreciated if his expression was anything to go by (of course that could have just been dissatisfaction at the water) but at least he was safe. Now she had to get up.

The redhead flung herself onto her feet just as the Primeape flew into a powerful fury driven rage. With the power of a Tauros, Primey kicked off the bank and rocket out of the water wrapping his arms around Dawn's waist as he passed. They flew over the rocks, onto the bank and...

CRASH!

Dawn wheezed struggling to get air back into her lungs and recover from the pain of being slammed onto the bank while Primey performed a victory dance. They stayed there for a moment before the redhead reached out, snagged his ankle and brought him crashing to the floor. The end result was a wrestling contest which the remainder of the Pokemon ignored, Brel merely moving the baby Darumaka out of the way as fighting type and trainer rolled past them. Finally some sort of stalemate seemed to be set with the redhead sitting on the stubborn creature's midsection. While Primey flailed in an attempt to get her off she diverted her attention to Whinter.

"Glad to see you up and at em, Princess. Found us a stream to bathe in. Is Eamonn up yet- whoa!"

Down went Dawn and up went the Primeape. For a second, anyway. The rolling resumed not long after the fighting type thought he had acquired victory this time carrying the pair of them over to Whinter's feet. Once again the redhead settled on his stomach and glanced over at her best friend "Sorry bout that. So yeah is Eamonn up yet?"

Whinter could only help but watch on with amusement, as Dawn continued to spar—or more appropriately wrestle—with her punchy Pokemon, before the two decided amongst themselves who was the victor...and who was the beanbag chair. She held back a laugh, but kept the smile on her face, as she could loosen up around her best friend. She had a title to maintain, but not a personality. "Hehe. Sweet~," she chuckled. "I can get Vixen to warm it up for us. Some hot steam'll loosen up those knots in my back from last night. As for Eamonn..." She looked back to the path she came from and shrugged. "I dunno. I guess he was asleep or already up when I came to check on you- Hm?"

Her snowy thoughts were interrupted by a tapping of a claw on her right shoulder. Whinter turned her head to the side, seeing the blurry figure of her Zoroark standing beside her. He took her hand and traced the letters 'M-E-D-I-T-A-T-I-N-G' gently on her fair-skinned palm. She nodded. "Dank ye, Zoro-kun." That aside, she looked back to Dawn and sighed with a smirk on her frosty pink lips. "I find it too coincidental that you packed me a bathing suit, and that we happened to run into this opportunity. At this point I'd assume you had a secret psychic-type Pokemon in your party I didn't know about. Heh. Then again, I'm just imagining things-"

Again, Whinter was interrupted, but not by Zoroark. There was a rumbling amongst the grassy surface of the earth, and it only got more and more violent as she wondered on. Zoroark looked back to the forest, seeing something hurdling towards them. Sweat dripped down, and he immediately pulled his trainer and best friend out of the way...before Torterra came running and belly-flopped into the river bed, sending a tidal wave of water everywhere. Wet and dripping with some annoyance, the Dark-type Pokemon slapped a paw on his forehead and dragged it down his face. His trainer tilted her head and blinked. "Torterra, I give you a five for the dive, and an eight for the landing."

The two of her Pokemon couldn't contrast anymore in personalities, as they started chatting way in their language.
"What's the matter with you? You coulda squashed us!"
"Hey, you can't blame a guy for wanting to take a dip~."
"A DIP? That's a three-inch kiddy pool at most!"

Okay, so quick recap of what Toaster was gonna post. He mentioned something like his computer crashed and wanted someone to do it for him in the mean time.

The grunts got geared up, and took an air unit out to Pinwheel Forest, where they started to span out through the forest to scout out the area, actually dispatching to hide themselves, or trying to, from the targets. Which you could have one or two be found, or them attack, or whatever.

They're geared up and given 'enhanced Pokemon'

X is making his own entrance on a large, bulkier pokemon to be revealed.
(Assuming since no one is bothering with the Pokemon juding subforum that I can just go ahead given the mission.)

He has yet to arrive to the scene, only the grunts are around. Even without the other groups of grunts, they've already scouted the area, and will just move over if the other groups arrive. X doesn't leave room for error when he does things on his own.

The day couldn't be anymore perfect than with a camping trip in the woods. Whinter spent her time down by the creek with Dawn and their primary Pokemon, lounging against a pine tree in the shade while Torterra took a splash around in the water. Zoroark, on the other hand, was meditating on a nearby tree stump, deeply breathing in and out at even intervals. The group couldn't imagine a better morning/afternoon...
...That was, until there was a chorus of loud crashes and clangs from the campsite. Zoroark's eyes suddenly flew open, neon blue irises dilated as he immediately jumped up and ran ninja-style towards the source., Whinter looked over at him as he ran off and got back up onto her knees. "Zoro?" she called. "What are you doing?!" Several seconds of silence passed, as she stood still and listened. Torterra came to her side in the mean time and nudged her shoulder, as if to ask what the matter was. She sighed. "Looks like he's up to his shenanigans again-"

"RAAAAAHHHH!!!" When Zoroark's growl let loose into the air, a small explosion of red smoke followed. Then she knew something was wrong.

"Zoro!!!" she cried aloud with some panic in her voice. Torterra immediately started running along side her, as she reached under her jacket and pulled a katana out of a hidden sheathe strapped up under her shirt. "Torterra, you know what to do if one of us gets ambushed, right?" Her starter Pokemon responded with a grunt before charging forward faster, almost faster than Whinter was.

When they reached the campsite, they found most of the pots and pans scattered about, if not scorched, and a plethora of unknown figures were scattered about on the ground at Zoroark's feet. Whinter screeched to a halting stop, staring with wide eyes at the scene before her. "...What the HELL happened here?" Zoro turned around to face her and Torterra, his eyes alit with blue flames. His claws shot down and yanked up one of the mysterious men by his coat, pointing to the emblem embroidered onto the back. A purple V was stitched into the black fabric, with red and gold swirls surrounding it. Immediately, she recognized it...and went full-on battle mode.

"DAWN!!!" she shouted. "WE GOT TROUBLE!!!"

I told that idiot not to blow his cover! Meanwhile, up in the trees, a green-haired grunt sat in a crouch with a microphone strapped around her ear and curved to her mouth. Her amber eyes observed the scene play out before her, the Illusion Fox Pokemon taking down the majority of the Team Void grunts they had sent to surround the camp. She pressed a button on the headpiece, activating the microphone's wireless signal and talking into it. "C2 to Base. The grunts are going down. I repeat. The grunts are going down. X is going in to handle the situation as we speak-"

"HYAH!!!" The frequency picked up a loud shout of battle. When Anzu looked down again, she saw not only the Sinnoh Region Champion swinging about a katana, but the Zoroark had activated a Swords Dance move.

"...Though, he might have some difficulty, considering her secondary Pokemon knows how to fight kendo-style." It was true. Whinter's partner and seeing-eye was swinging about a black and red sparking sword of energy like there was no tomorrow. Immediately after it took effect, he started moving faster and faster, dealing heavy blows with each swing. Several grunts and their Pokemon took the invisible hits, receiving cuts and bruises of all kinds on their limbs, torsos, and faces. Anzu watched in perplexity, rubbing her chin and observing the scene. "Hmmm..." she wondered, speaking into the microphone again. "The Zoroark seems to have a human-like conscience and protective instincts. ...Someone write him down as a test subject after we capture the Champion."

"Zoroark, give me a boost!" On command, Zoroark held out his paws as the Swords Dance dissipated. Whinter backed up a few paces, shaking several still-standing grunts off of her arms and legs, before taking off in a sprint with them on her tail. Her foot met with his claws, before she felt herself airborne, and the world was spinning 360º and upside-down. Several of the opponents looked on in amazement, not realizing what she was about to do. Whinter quickly reached under her jacket into the sheathe again, pulling out a second katana before she became a bladed helicopter and came drilling down to the ground, spinning like a helicopter as her blades took out several of the unsuspecting Grunts.

She landed in a kneel, shaking off the few spatters of blood on the blades and standing up, looking around. Zoroark mimicked her action, wary of the silence that hung in the air. Something was...amiss. "Whoever else is there," she called out threateningly to the blur of greens surrounding them, "you have five seconds to show yourself, before I come chopping my way through Pinwheel to find you!"

But as the water fills my mouth,
It couldn't wash the echoes out. {x2}
I swallow the sound, and it swallows me whole,

I'm empty as that beating drum,
But the sound has just begu-u-u-un...

Agent

The Agent took his sweet time getting through to where their targets were located. During so, he just listened in on the radio signals. Hearing remaining grunts from C2's team talking about a Pokemon quite familiar to the Agent taking out several members of their team. Then the code name C2 appeared. Apparently X really did have to do things on his own. Letting out a fake sigh, he spoke into the built in radio in his mask. "You really are hopeless. Divisions one and two, proceed with the diversion tactic I assigned. Then fall back to on call lines. Division two, commence black haze. Division one, follow up with false fist." On command, grunts from X's squad started to rustle out of trees and peek from behind various objects, moving in they pulled out various orbs. When they started to cover the pre set 30 meter radius within the same area as the targets, they activates these black balls and started to throw them around. With their detonation, the forest section of the forest was flooded with an incredibly thick black smoke that made vision with average sight nearly impossible unless up close.
{{Funny enough, when I typed this I forgot about Whinter being nearly blind. Have fun with that~ I don't know if team void has access to that knowledge.}}

"Black Haze has been put into motion, first division now moving into place." Luckily for Team Void, they have the technology to see through their own tricks. Their masks specially engineered to see heat rather than regular sight, letting them move through the smoke with their targets still in sight. These grunts had other things than black smoke bombs though; they instead had machines. Both for sound and projection. Setting them up, the sound of engines and footsteps started to echo around the marked perimeter of the targets. With these sounds, projections were made visible with the smoke. Projections that looked like large groups of grunts, and vehicles traveling through the forest. Getting closer and closer towards Whinter and her partners.

"C2. I'd suggest you get out of there with the rest of your squad. I wont be responsible for your safety when I arrive~ I plan to engrave my visit here.

With these diversions in place, division three made its move in to start pulling out some of the wounded and knocked out members from the other group. X had shown a kindness that he wouldn't repeat, even to those of his own team. All while he was still getting to the scene. "X approaching the target in 107 seconds."

"Do I have to X you?"

Louder than sirens, Louder than bells.

It fills my head up and gets lo-o-ouder, and louder...

"Hey, shut up!" Anzu hollered into the microphone. "At least I was following orders. The Prince told me to stay the Grunt that I am and keep lookout! So have fun playing Cops & Robbers with the Champion, your jerk." Now that her feelings were off of her chest, the Gym Leader grabbed her equipment and hopped down onto the ground, taking her leave with her so-called "Squadron."

Whinter and Zoro let the environment remain quiet, with the Grunts scattered about. The fact that all the commotion had suddenly stopped was aggravating to her senses, not to mention her partner's patience. Among the quiet winter breeze, she could suddenly feel an odd presence, as little black spheres came flying out of nowhere into the area. There as only a split second to register what was happening, before they exploded into a smokescreen of black haze. Whinter clenched her eyes tight, protecting her vision since she would be completely blind with her eyes open anyways. Zoro immediately took action and darted around in the smog, feeling his paws out as he found the various points in the campsite. Finally, one of his claws touched Whinter's shoulder.

"Zoro?" she asked aloud. "I-is that you?" Her question was answered with an invisible nod of the head. Hearing several whirrs of some heavy-metal vehicles in the distance, he took the initiative and scooped her up threshold style, before jumping up and out to the edge of the diversion and into the trees above.

Only a few seconds passed, before they were clear to see normally again. The Zoroark jumped across the branches and to one sturdy tree's limb, before setting down his partner. She peeked open one eye, before rubbing both with the backs of her fists and looking around. "Hm? Where are we?" She was having some trouble readjusting to the green blur of Pinwheel Forest around her, but not with hearing the various engines in the distance. "Ah, sh*t," she spat, keeping her voice low to avoid detection. "I get a bad feeling about our odds in all of this..."

Zoroark nodded in response and crouched next to her, observing the scene at hand. He looked back towards the campsite, hearing voices and things of that nature. Being the Illusion Fox Pokemon, he could tell the difference between what was real and what was an illusion. He growled and raised his claws together, as a dark orb of energy started to form. When it was finally the size of the ponytail on the end of his mane, he released the Shadow Ball with a loud, "RRRRAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" watching in anticipation as it flew through the trees and out of site back to the camp. He had anticipated that it hit the campfire that was still going from the night before, considering there was a small cloud of fire that rose up into the air seconds later.

Several seconds of satisfaction fell upon him and Whinter, before some sparks flew about the forest. Immediately, a reaction started, as one tree caught the heat and alit with small flames, before turning into a vertical bonfire. Whinter smelled the burning scent and raised an eyebrow. "Zoro, did your Shadow Ball blow up the campsite?"

In response, a sweat bead fell down his forehead, and he pointed at her as if to say, "You forgot to put out the fire before we left!"

"...You're unbelievable. Let's get out of here before we become a barbecue's main course." She looked down, the glow from the small fire helping to clear her vision some. She pushed off the branch with her hands and jumped down to the grassy forest floor, landing in a crouch before patting herself down. Pokeballs: Check. Katana: Check. Escape route... Well, better start looking for one. She and Zoroark took off running into the forest, hopefully away from the commotion, since the smoke was dispersing and making it harder to see. As they ran, Whinter withdrew her katana once more, ready to take on the world if it came charging at them.

Even as he sat there, eyes closed but his mind open to the extravagances, the fallacies, and greatness of the environment surrounding him, he knew that this peaceful bliss would end somehow. It was the way of the world, the continuance of right and wrong- peace and conflict. The silence of the forest continued to ease its way throughout Eamonn's conscience, his Pokemon responding like so. While they remained motionless as statues though, Eamonn's lack of sleep continued to show as his eyes twinged slightly and his normally complacent expression showing signs of irritability. Haxorus and Infernape continued in a more relaxed demeanor, the Fire Monkey opening his eyes to see his Master's obvious discomfort. Bishop knew what was ailing Eamonn, having seen multiple nights where the Champion had sat staring into the starlight with an aching expression. There were nights though, that Eamonn fell into what passed as sleep, meaning passing out but there wasn't a whole lot that the Infernape could do other than put his Master to sleep. There would have to be a remedy of sort for him that the Fire type did not know about.

"Ape...." the Pokemon muttered, Ea's eyes opening immediately and looking towards the Pokemon. The look could be described as frustrated, the Pokemon only looking back sadly at his Master with utter disregard towards the expression towards him. They both knew what was on the Ape's mind, and Ea held no desire to talk about any of it. Almost immediately however, upon the hollering in the distance, the black haired man stood in alarm as did his three companions. One could only guess that someone had found them, with Ea's best guess being Team Void...though he could certainly pray otherwise. Haxorus and Infernape stood in front their Master, the flames on Bishop seeming to glow brighter while Viridian stood tall, snorting through his nose and looking like the intimidating beast that he was. They however, did not move out towards any position however, as they awaited on two more individuals.

*****************************************************************

Dragonite had been sleeping peacefully, Gible lying on its tail comfortably as they continued sleeping throughout the peak of the morning. However, upon the sounds of movement around them, Dragonite awoke almost immediately, Zoroark beginning to attack those surrounding. Dragonite was not concerned with the fighting however, almost immediately, with a large brush of air, the Dragon shot off with the Gible flailing on its back as the Dragonite shot its way faster than anything possible, evading throughout the trees with a mode of an experienced flyer, sniffing out the location of his Master, Gible writhing in terror on its tail while holding on for dear life.

******************************************************************************

Turning towards the Campsite, Eamonn held an arm up to his face as Cloud the Dragonite and Gibs landed on the ground next to him, Cloud reaching out quickly and hugging Eamonn upon finding him safe. The trainer could only chuckle at its antics. "We seem to be under attack, by we I mean Whinter and Dawn most likely. They won't have a clue we are here, considering we are at the edge of the forest." He pointed down towards a creek that continued downward towards the camp. "Part of the reason I came this way. Following this creek will be the ticket out of here, so here's the game plan." Eamonn pulled out a Pokeball and the red light came out with Absol. "We're keeping it that way. Sol, go forward as stealthily as you can and find Dawn...lead her out of here. Whinter is fighting already, we'll support her and try to ditch this place as quickly as possible. Make haste." The Absol nodded its head and vanished almost immediately, leaping through the dark woods like a ninja, out seeking the girl.

"Dragonite. Air support. Stay quick and under low radar. It won't be too hard to find Whinter I believe, so continue giving her support." The dragon nodded its head and gave its Master his jacket, who put it on before pulling out a Hankerchief, covering most of his face to avoid detection by any individual. "Bishop. You're too bright. You won't be needed right now." The Fire Ape understood as the red light absorbed him into the Pokeball. Then, Eamonn climbed onto Dragonite, looking at Viridian. "Stay mobile. It's dark enough they can't see Cloud and I in the sky, but you'll be in a much closer range of combat. Stay quick and strike hard. Support her but don't get too deep into the situation. You're the quickest and the most efficient I can use right now. Make me proud." Viridian only nodded as Dragonite took off into the sky with Ea in tow before turning and sprinting off towards the sounds of fighting.

They flew quickly over the woods, eyeing Whinter and Zoroark initiating their retreat. Haxorus found them rather quickly, running in stead like a guard, hopefully they would understand that he was there to help protect them as well as guide them out of the trap that had been set for them, Absol having hopefully found Dawn and leading her towards the exit up the creek. Keeping his head low, Ea looked towards the group of men marching towards them. "Let's give them second thoughts." he whispered in Dragonite's ear, whom only nodded before opening its mouth, releasing a shaking Hyper Beam in a massive arc behind Whinter and Viridian's trail, erupting in an earthshaking explosion that sent multiple Void troops scattering as the almost invisible Dragon flew quickly, a flash in the sky for those even with the best of eyes as Eamonn had the Dragon turn once more for another, this time releasing a Flamethrower amongst the invaders before vanishing into the sky once more, Eamonn holding his head down to avoid being hit in the face by a torrent of wind. I can try to hold them off for a couple of moments but that is all I can spare. They need to get out now."
