Yeul has no memories of her parents or family. Instead, she was raised by a Saint who had decided to pass his vast knowledge of white magic to her, based on the assumption that the girl was a Spirit Charmer. After a few years had passed, her mentor died, leaving her all alone in the world. Aspiring to not let both his memory and teachings become neglected, Yeul had chosen to become a Light Sage. Of course, a little while after the decline of her instructor, she stumbled upon a tome explaining what the mark that she had thought was that of a Spirit Charmer, was actually the mark of a Branded. In an effort to make sure that the truth remained a secret, Yeul continues to say that she is a Spirit Charmer.
