─Personal Information─
Personality:The first thing that comes to mind when speaking of Eufemia is kitschy and cold, calculating, ruthless along with other synonymous words used to describe her, she has heard it all. However, the plethora of words really don't matter to her, she is too confident to deflate her massively sized ego to believe them. She's a woman with a silver tongue; hurting people mentally rather than physically. Mental anguish weighs heavier than the physical pain, which can heal.
Like other women, Eufie finds herself completely immersed in her own vision of beauty, and to her she is the epitome of perfection, not many could compare to her fair looks. The lady uses her looks to her advantage to get what she wants, just like any other gorgeous b***h in the world. From men to money, she has the means to have it all.
With both brain and brawn, the woman doesn't need to pick. Her brain is nothing average, Eufemia is a woman who is constantly thinking. There isn't a moment in her life where she doesn't shut up in her head, after all you can only trust yourself.
Concerning science, the woman turns into a complete lunatic. Enough said. Actually, she is a complete lunatic.
Eufemia suffers from a case of masochism, deep down inside her. No, she doesn't self harm, neither does she like it when others inflict pain upon her, but she does. The woman likes the feeling of being patronized; she likes the feeling of being angry. Does that make sense? In any case, she is a sadist on the externally, and that's what people see.
Aspect of Death: Murder
Personal Possession(s): Only herself, she values no aspect of her old life. It was done when it ended. Well, there is a circular vial of antivenom for her poison which she keeps around her neck, like a makeshift necklace.
Personal Secret(s): None really.
History: As a young lady growing up in a home of noble roots, it was not very unusual to be in an arranged marriage, nor was it unusual to not be able to meet one's husband until the wedding day. It was all according to tradition, to custom which people lived their humdrum lives without question. But, the young lady of topic, is not one who lives a life similar to her peers. A duchess in the making, yes; however, her mind blossomed, flourished with the need for knowledge. While, she was taught the ways of woman, the propriety she showed in public was quite different from the spectacle she became in the sanctuary of her own bedroom. A woman of science was she, the countless numbers of experiments with botany and the like. She learned all that she could learn, or what was allotted for women to learn.
Euphemia, the young woman called herself, was the youngest of five children, and the only female child born to her parents. Never has she been a normal child, since her birth, she was already deemed wayward. Why? She was a babe who didn't cry rambunctiously, only to be soothed by her ever awaiting mother, rather, it was only when she was placed in her mother's arms that she thrashed around wildly, as if overtaken by a demon. While she blossomed in beauty as the seasons passed, her temperamental nature in the privacy of her home was notorious. A devil's incarnate, many referred to the child as. Now, growing up with such a negative connotation to her name, of course the girl would live up to the expectations of her surrounding kin. The devil's child was as beautiful as any flower, and with curiosity as insatiable as the sin of greed.
Of course, being the young lady, Euphemia grew up to be, her parents stated: the more dowry they offered the male most suited to be her husband, the more likely he'll keep her. Simple minded creatures, and so the marriage was created, without the consent of the girl. It was never about the girl anyway, but for the sake of money, power, privilege, and convenience with which the marriages back then were arranged. It was never about love. While Euphemia was known as the devil's incarnate, she dreamed about falling madly in love, like any young girl in the world. Oh, to live in a castle with a wonderful prince, to have his children, to grow old and die together. That was her dream. Quite a fantasy for an educated lady such as herself. The nature that came along with love intrigued her, thus, it became her dream.
When the time arrived for her to become a bride, Euphemia was excited. She prepared for the moment when she finally meets her husband, the man whom she would be with forever. He was exactly all she hoped for and more, oh so much more. He had dazzling emerald colored eyes, and curly locks of brown. He was the epitome of perfection which she most desperately yearned for. Then, they were married. He made her heartbeat like no other, she was smitten. WAS smitten. You see, soon after they tied the knot, she caught him in bed with another woman. Euphemia was heartbroken, as any woman should be.
To make it easier for the readers, one thing led to another, and she found herself dead, on the bed. Her lover disappeared along with all of her money and with her heart. That was what happened on the day she died.
Death is Nothing
Thus starts the life of a woman who lives in rage, and who fears love. The tutors her parents hired to learn her always told her that humans could only go into three places: Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. The world which she currently inhabited after she was resurrected was nothing like what they described. It was no Heaven, unless Heaven were an exact replica of her old life; nor was it Hell, as there were no flames of eternal damnation visible. So, was it Purgatory? Maybe. But, why was there a chain on her chest? She remembered nothing of the sort in the stories. So maybe it was. The chain that told her that she had something to do in death, something to prove. Or it was her chance at revenge. Those who live in purgatory make humans suffer, right? Of course, and it was what she will do: make the man suffer.
But, before she could find her long, estranged husband, cheater and murderer, it seemed monsterous creatures got to her first; creatures with pallid skin, drooling ectoplasmic ooze which numbed her senses as they gnawed on her body. Eufemia screamed, and screamed, yet, no one heard her. Why not? Oh yes, she was dead. That's why. The devil's incarnate held no luck to her frivolous name. No luck whatsoever.
Years passed, and she became a horrific creature herself: with large, dark colored wings protruding from her back. These wings emanated a cloud of dust, which if inhaled numbed her pathetic little victims. This life was what Eufemia lived for many years, until she had a thought rack her mind. What would her own kind taste like? The other monsters which hunted the stray souls of humans, how would they taste? A cannibalistic thought, but there was a rumor floating around as well: power can be acquired from cannibalism. Then starts the fight for power, for glory.
Well, while all of the strong ones morphed into espada first, she was right behind them, becoming the cuchillo for the Espada, who is well versed in sciences as she herself would like to be.
─Zanpakuto Information {Sealed}─
Zanpakuto Name: La Mariposa Roja
Zanpakuto Appearance: Two silver bladed sickles. The blades are obviously cresent shaped, but hers are longer and more curved than many others. Each of these sickles rest in the sheath wrapped up with ribbon at the small of her back.
Special Sealed Techniques:
Her zanpakuto can be used for long ranged battles as well. How? Well, her sickles can be used as projectiles. Once again, the question is how; it is simple, bonds of reishi are formed at the non-bladed end of the weapons. So at the hilt, they are attached to reishi, which she tightly condenses to keep a strong adhesion to her crude version of projectiles. These bonds of reishi can and will lengthen in anyway she wants: shorter or longer, it doesn't matter as long as one stays focused.
Also, Eufemia can conjoin the two sickles of hers, to create a circular weapon. This makes it easier to throw around, and easier to control, rather than two separate blades, with separate directions.
─Release State {Resurrección}─
Incantation: "Se Desteñiera, Mariposa Roja"
Appearance: Crystal Wings
Resurrección Special Ability: Like a dainty butterfly, a way to ensure survival is a must. While some butterflies don vibrant colors to scare away predators, others blend in with their surroundings. Eufemia does neither, as her wings are not vibrantly colored, nor do they use a camouflage to keep her from harms way, rather, they are made out of a dust-like substance which if inhaled attacks the nervous system. The dust is actually a poison which resides within the body, multiplying quickly like a virus and spreads throughout the nerves. This neurotoxin targets the nerves as the name implies, but most importantly, the axons and dendrites, numbing the functions of the nerves, dulling the charges. The more of her smog is inhalled, the more the toxins build up in the body, thus quickening the petrification caused by her poison.
One little thing about Eufemia's poison is it's unwillingness to be cured. If it's kept outside of a body, or anything without blood flow for that matter, the poison will congeal, and become useless to people who want to pry into it's secrets. Can't let secrets get out now, can we?
Special Techniques:
[ X ] Gas Venonoso: The venomous cloud of gas; this is achieved through Eufemia's wings. The more dust her wings produce, the more the cloud grows. Simple as that, darling.
[ X ] Aire de Plata: Eufemia flaps her wings and a wind with silver crescents in it are released at the opponent. Sometimes, its wings flash white, or her wings glow white . She then flaps her wings and a powerful gust with silver sparkles comes out of them and hits the opponent. Therefore, silver wind.
[ X ] Las agujas: The butterfly lady charges at the opponent with either the sickles, or the merged circular version of them in both hands and repeatedly stabs at her victims, or throws them at her victims with quick precision.
─Release State {Resurrección; Segunda Etapa}─
Appearance: The crystal motif of her previous form is carried on to her segunda etapa. Her skin takes a crystallized form; gules of red tinges the most lateral parts of her wings as well as her extremities. She looks more of a mutated, butterfly human hybrid, yet still beautiful. Her wings have shrunken from their excessive size from her first release; down to a sizable proportion with her slender body, her wings are quite the charmer aside from the woman's face. Her body is now covered in a light coating of fur, which hides most of her own skin. Her whole face is covered by a crystal mask to protect her from the effects of her own poison.
Resurrección Segunda Etapa Special Ability: Her Segunda Etapa ability allows her to be reborn in the event of her death. Eufemia's poison is more potent, and since the poison knows no difference from its owner and enemies, everyone can become a victim to its effects.
Special Techniques:
[ X ] Grand Butterfly Poison : In the Segunda Etapa form, Eufemia has a new form of poison. Her wings are actually made of crystalized poison dust, and as she goes on in this form, the wings will break apart at a rate allowing her to quickly form large clouds of dust particles, each one an irritant to the lungs of any man who breathes it in. It packs a punch too; slowly dampening the neural respones between nerves of any one who breathes it, slowly forcing them into paralysis. [ When fighting Eufemia, 10 posts of battle will result in the person being unable to move their limbs. ]The air naturally permeates the battle field, not just the areas of poison one can readily see, making this a very deadly weapon.
Eufemia also gains control of the airborne dust, allowing her to coagulate it in midair, and fire it a semi-solid projectiles, or to simply guide the poison with a wave of her hand. In this state, the poison is actually a part of Eufemia, so it is incredibly hard to disperse or otherwise deter the poison-filled air. In most cases, one will need to dodge in order to escape the poison.
[ X ] Rebirth of the Butterfly : If Eufemia is killed in combat by an enemy, she has an ability that will make up for her death. Her poison is actually a part of her body, meaning that by breathing it in, you are breathing her in. She can use the poison inside of a person's body, and form he body once more. After a waiting period of 5 enemy posts since her death, Eufemia can literally rebirth herself within the body of the person who killed her. She will then procede to cut her way out of the person, usually through the chest or stomach, with no small amount of cutting, gouging, and various poking going on within the person. In this stage, she will be very small and vulnerable, unable to use her wings until they dry, and unable to do much since her body is still working on becoming normal sized. In this state, she is almost like a larvae, and needs to escape quickly. [ Requires the opponent to have breathed at least 3 posts worth of poison. ]
─Energy Technique Information─
Specialized Cero: Her cero immobalizes the area which she hits, if it hits, actually. There is a fifty-fifty percent chance she hits or not, it is all according to her concentration and the speed of her opponent. For example, if Euphemia's cero hits the arm, then, say goodbye to all the feeling in your arm until the effects dissipate in however long it takes to heal, not even she knows the extent; it is all according to the person's ability to heal.
Special Cero Techniques: Well, it's not really special as it forms at the palm of her hand, as it is easier to control that way.
Bala: Eufemia's bala is quite a catch as it is a bala which she can break apart into a plethora of mini balas. While her cero is merely for petrification, her bala is her attack. These mini balas are long ranged, but lack too much power as they are a portion of one bala. So, if she divides them into eighths, then each mini bala has one eighth the effect of the original bala. It is simple mathemathics.
─Physical Information─
Sonido Level:
Quite up there, as it is one of Eufemia's ways to make herself harder to attain by her enemies. It is simply her way of running away from battles, she's not a fighter.
Hakuda Level:
Moderate, while she can fight hand in hand, she can battle with her sickles up close, but she can also battle long ranged. Eufie has not mastered both, nor will she try to.
Zanjutsu Level:
High, as she can fight mostly with her blades. Long ranged or short, she can battle with her sickles, as if they were normal swords, due to their abnormal length. Then again, she can't fight for too long.
Herrio Strength:
Not very strong, Eufemia is a dainty creature, and dainty she stays, even in her ressureccion form; as beautiful as it is, being the butterfly certainly offers her speed, on and off the ground, but she gains no protection from it. Her wings are quite fragile.
─Relationships─
Love Interest: none really. what is having a fear of love to you?
Friends: what are friends?
Enemies: anyone who Eufie deems unworthy.
Other Relations: does it matter?
─Professional Status─
Affiliation: Espada Cuatro
Occupation: Cuchillo
─Skills Information─
Intelligence: Very High. Intelligence is Euphemia's main forte, being second in command to the cuatro espada, who prides himself as the scientist of Hueco Mundo.
Athletic Skill: Low. She's not very athletic, unless brains were counted for; however, she is a speedy person, if that counts.
Strength: Low. Not very strong either.
Speed: Very High. When one has wings, speed is definitely something to be worked on, but it does wear her out.
Agility: Quite agile. For a scientist, it is best to have quick reflexes, dear; if not, then the adverse effects would be hazardous, no?
Stamina: Very High. Well, in a mental aspect, her stamina is quite a piece of work, obviously, it would be the opposite with her physical abilities. She tires too easily.
Durability: Moderate. If Eufemia paces herself, then she is quite durable. She is a dainty creature, like a butterfly.
Endurance: Moderate. Have you ever beaten up a butterfly? Well, she doesn't have very good endurance physically, mi amor.
Flexibility: Very High. She's a woman... She's supposed to be flexible, yes?
Any Special Skills:
Well, she is able to quickly deduce the proper action for any given scenario. For example, someone's hair is on fire, what does she do? Depends on the person, or her benefit from putting out the flaming head of hair. Or, maybe her massive ego, which is nearly impossible to deflate? Who knows.
