Okay, am I the only member who is writing Tintin fan fiction? I was an avid watcher of the cartoons back in the early 1990's (before Susan Roman voiced Sailor Jupiter), and only after seeing the movie last winter with a gal pal of mine, did I get hooked on the good looking British sounding reporter. heart heart
Call me a sucker for English men, I started looking for Tintin fanfiction. My one pet peeve is all the slash between Tintin and Haddock. I mean, come on, they're friends, nothing more and nothing less. With that in mind, I decided to write a fanfiction of my own. After watching Doctor Who, the following fanfiction was born:
The Girl and The Tesseract Machine- a crossover with Torchwood. Tintin's childhood sweetheart and friend, Helene Dupont, returns to Brussels after a 13 year absence. As she and Tintin rekindle their romance, past enemies rise as her necklace may be the key to a long lost piece of technology that could wither save or destroy the world. Currently has 26 chapters and is on going.
My Husband's Clothes: A quasi-sequel to the above story set a few years afterward. Tintin and Helene are married and have newborn twins, Lynette and Tobias. With Tintin in at the office, and clean clothes being laundered again, Helene resorts to cross dressing to get the errrends done and the babies and Snowy out of the house a while. Romance, humor and confusion abound. 3 out of 5 chapters posted so far.
Both stories are posted here on Gaia and in my siggy.
