Shine couldn't remember a whole lot from the Scarentines party. She knew that the euphoria had been intoxicating and nice, could remember snippets of conversation, and knew that she'd thought of Rain a lot...but there wasn't much more. Having assumed that the friends she'd made might not remember the things that they talked about, she was pleased when Willow invited her along to something called "hot springs." Hot wasn't her most favorite thing, but they sounded kind of nice,
and she got to spend time with a new friend, so she couldn't turn this down.
"Thank you for the...invitation. You're really...nice. And I um...I dunno. About water, I mean...I guess I haven't...really..." At the mention of the mole rats, she gave her an odd sideways glance. "Um. Mole...whats?"
She did her best to take note of the directions to the springs as they walked. Maybe, if they really were nice, she could share them with Rain too!
