I think I made this same thread once, since it was already in my history when I started typing it into the subject bar. But I can't find it, so once again..
Thoughts on the topic?
There's this girl I have my eye on at work, and we get a little flirty any time she comes into my department. She does work a completely different department than me, I'm in customer service and she's in housekeeping. Honestly there's a few other girls at my work in other departments that I kinda of like, but I've got a definite crush on this girl.
I generally try to avoid getting involved with co-workers, I have had awkwardness from such arise at other jobs. Even if I ask this girl out I'm probably not going to do it quite just yet, but I dunno, seems like she might be worth while.
For the record my work isn't really against co-workers dating. There's actually a surprising amount of couples working for the casino, and the one thing they do try to discourage is dating within the same department.

Usually it's a rule not to, but since you said they're okay with it where you work, the only thing is that it might be awkward if it doesn't work out. Personally, if it was okay where I work (when I have a job, and if I wasn't already in a relationship) I wouldn't see anything wrong with it, except the awkward thing again.

Don't s**t where you eat.
Because things like this, almost always end up biting one of you in the a**.
Either she gets upset over a break up, and gets you fired for whatever reasons...
OR you get that "office slut" vibe/she does, and then everyone is all pissy.
Alternatively; Other females/males might get jealous and start s**t.
