So yeah.. I had that last night but somehow it stayed in my thoughts til morning so I'm posting it right up here.
What do you guys think about having premium tutorials and resources for members that are ACTIVE on this forum? This would create the community of graphic artists that we've always wanted.
We could have two ways of doing this:-
♚ Every 30 (for example) posts you have allows you to "redeem" for something, be it a tutorial or a resource pack. So basically you earn rights to obtain the pack by being active.
♚ The idea of GrC. Graphic Coins. We will have monthly competitions, posting competitions, etc. Just by taking part, posting, asking questions, chatting, doing graphics or even bumming around, you'll earn these GrC and it will be recorded in a thread. When you redeem something, we will deduct the GrC you have.
Of course, this will only be successful if there are tutorials and resources that people actually want enough to want to be active on TGM to get them. So.. I will be doing a resource pack soon and anyone who replies to this thread will get a complementary sample with no strings attached. Just give me your opinion on this.
p.s. I don't usually share my resources, so.. yeah. This resource pack will be made mainly out of my own photographs,etc.

It's not so much as "premium" member, but "premium" tutorial and resources. Like, you will be able to see the preview of the tutorial and resources but to get the link from them you'll have to PM a crew to "deduct" your GrC, etc

Like where I can view the previews of the wallpapers but I have to be a member and at least have a certain amount of posts in the forum to use the wallpaper/PNGs. It is like a privilege. Well now that I think about it, I think its a spectacular idea that will get the people more into posting and wanting to be active :3 } -----------------------------------------------------------------

Sounds good, but doesn't sound great to shy members cx
meaning that they have to post so much and blah.
But it isn't a bad idea if you want more people to post in the guild.

The idea isn't bad btw. But didn't this guild plan to give out free tutorials ?
Or maybe you could have some free tutorials, but hit 'n' runs make me cry xP

Yup! The basic ones that teaches people how to make stuff would probably be free. I'm planning to give out some brushes I made myself to do nice little tricks. Also, I plan to be teaching many nice hints to make ANY banner look better. Those, would of course, be reserved for people who're always supporting the guild. It wouldn't be fair otherwise, would it?
