Fiala finally manged to escape the den! She lived with her older brother,
C.F., who was extremely overprotective of her. Ever since they were born he had watched out for her. As a matter of fact, that's how he ended up
blind. One of their litter mates had attempted to attack her, and he stepped in to protect her, and got the full effect of it himself. As they reached teen-hood, things didn't improve in their den, so C.F. convinced Fiala to run away with him and they would find their own place to live - somewhere safer.
It was indeed, a safe and wonderful place they had gone to, but getting out on her own was near impossible for Fiala. She loved her brother, and she knew why he was so overbearing, but that didn't make it any easier to deal with. Now that she had finally managed to escape however, she intended on sneaking off to the lake nearby. She ran as fast as she cool, the cool breeze in her fur.
