Zedd appeared on the lifeless rock. He had been to the planet before but that was back when he was evil. But when Dark Specter had captured Zordon, and was planning his war against the universe. Standing there now didn't make him feel comfortable, then again he felt this way the last time he was to this planet.

It was something about this planet that made him feel unease. He just couldn't but his finger on it. Pushing his feeling aside he takes out his PDA and starts looking for his son Cain. Rumor had it the Supreme Monarch had been see in the area.

'Why did i get myself into this mess.' he thought as he walked around his heart racing a mile a minute.

"Looking for someone?" a dark voice asked as the supreme monarch appeared behind him.

'Show time.' Zedd said smiling for a moment before it disappeared, he turned around to look at his target. "Give back what you took from me."

"Now why would i do that?" He asked with a laugh before grabbing him with lightning fast speed. "You really want to have his last memory of you..." He started before noticing something was wrong.

"Whats that matter cat got your tongue?" Academy Zedd asked as he appeared behind the Supreme Monarch. "Really didn't think you'd fall for that."

The Supreme Monarch sighed as he spun around sending Galactic Zedd flying into his counterpart. "Your auras are the same, but he doesn't hold what you do."

The two Zedd's pulled themselves up before looking at the Supreme Monarch. "You might be another version of us, but we're not the same. We have something you'll never have."

"What would that be?" he asked.

"Family, friends and those willing to band tougher to destroy evil." The two answered.

"I only see you two."

"Look again."

The Supreme Monarch created monster of all different kinds as the group of rangers, heroes and villains changed forward. He only seemed to leave as he broke his own staff turning both pieces into twin swords. As both Zedd and Zarek morph

The battle seemed to go on for hours as both sides seem to tire from fighting for so long, many of the monsters had already been defeated, only for two more to take their place.

"This is getting old." Zarek said as he and Zedd took cover behind a boulder to recover for a moment. "No matter what we do he blocks it."

"He is us after all. He knows all of our moves by heart." Zedd replied as he listened to the battle around him.

Zarek sighed as he nodded. "Any ideas?" looking at him before looking up around the cover. "Going to have to think of something soon. He just ko'd Dark Specter."

"Remember what we talked about privately last night?" Zedd asked as he stood up.

"Yeah...Wait no your crazy think about everyone else."

"I am." Zedd replied looking at him as a black sword appeared in his hand it seemed to glow blue every once in a while. "You agreed to do what I asked. You'll only have..."

"I know." Zarek replied taking the sword from him looking down sadly. "I'd just hope you would have...."

Zedd didn't wait for him to finish as he step up and out of the trench and walked though the battle, aiding those that were on his side and attacking those that were not. Once he was close enough he sighed sending out one message thought the Mental link he shared with everyone. 'Forgive me.' he said as he powered down in a flash of red light.

he waved his hand as a force field appeared around the Supreme Monarch before pushing all those that were not those targeted to be inside back. "It ends now." he said taking in a deep breath. Before he could do or say anything more the enemy was right in front of him, if he could see his face he would see a dark grin.

The Supreme Monarch Laughed as he punched Zedd though the chest making him scream out in pain.

Zedd life flashed before his eyes as he felt himself being merged with the Supreme Monarch. "NOW." He yelled

Zarek jumped to his feet and throw the sword with all of his strength. It flipped through the air as it traveled at his target. It passed through the force field and embedded itself in Zedd's chest/heart making him scream again as red and black lightning filled the field.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING." Academy Tommy yelled at Zarek as he watched what was going on.

"What he asked me to do."

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" Academy Tommy yelled.

Zarek looked down in shame. 'This is why i didn't want to do these.' he thought, 'your forcing me to explain you decides to them, when i don't even know myself.'

the force field soon exploded sending all the allies flying, while one by one the monsters and foot soldiers the Supreme Monarch made started to disappear. Soon the field started to flicker before falling, as the smoke from the explosion started to fade away.

Laying where the field had once stood was both the Supreme Monarch and Zedd. Both were laying flat on their faces, both un-moving.

Academy Tommy rushed forward to his fathers side before checking his pulse. 'Be there.' he thought before sighing when he got nothing. He screamed in anger before getting up and storming over to where Zarek stood. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU." He yelled punching him in the face, which man him fall.

"I did what he asked me too." Zarek replied looking up at him. "Do you really think he wanted these, this was his plan B. He know there would be only one other shot in defeating him. One shot to kill them both." He said looking down as tears started to form in his eyes. "If we couldn't beat him, he would sacrifice himself to save everyone else, that was his plan. He didn't what anyone else to die, there been far to much of it he said."

"We could have thought of something else, something better then these."

"At what cost. More planets being destroyed like Eltar, More people without a world to call home, or a universe for that matter." Zarek replied getting back to his feet.

"Zedd's to stubborn to think about other ideas." Zordon said as he looked over and removed the sword from his brother chest. "Doesn't help that this sword would bring out the worse in someone." He said as he sighed making the sword disappear. "Really wish you would have told me of your plan."

"We got a problem." Venus said as she noticed the Supreme Monarch started to get up. His movements seemed to be much slower then before.

"Whats going on?" He said as he turned around, sitting down.

The fire soon died down leaving behind a pail of ash.

"Nope still over here." Zedd said as he started to set up looking at the two of them before looking around. 'How am i still here. He hit me at the right time, i should be died.' he thought.

"Go ahead. He can't do much to stop you anyway. Doesn't have any of his power." Zedd answered as he slowly get to his feet, his legs shaking a bit. "Was suppose to be, both of us were suppose to die. Doesn't look like it worked thou. But did have a side effect."

"What?" Zarek asked walking over with Tommy who hugged his father from behind.

"The Supreme Monarch we see before." Zedd started before stopping trying to find the right words to make everyone understand. "His mortal for one thing, second he has nothing, no powers no memories, his like a new born. Just evil still."
