Woooo! They put up a new song (called Surrender) and it's a love song... of course. I think they also put it up on their myspace, but a lot of people are having trouble playing the song (me included) so, just go to their purevolume and have a listen! Ben also put a little blog about the song:
Valentine's day for the most part sucks...I've hated it for the longest time because it either reminds me of someone I once had or someone that I'll never be allowed to have... which got me thinking... love comes in so many different forms on so many different levels... Unrequited love is one of those forms/predicaments I've been in and it ******** sucked... Loving someone SO much but due to circumstance and timing I wasn't able to ever tell her exactly how I felt... I watched as other men came and went from her life and every time I just wanted to grab her and say "it's me stupid!!! I'm the one" anyway...the record is finished being recorded and we can't tell you how excited we are to share it with eveyone... it is my far the best piece of work that we have ever done together...we experimented with new sounds and new emotions one being love and its many incarnations... This song Surrender was written about this one circumstance I was in with a friend...it is a REAL love song... believe or not...slow and romantic and it is a little different than most Billy Talent you've heard before...like our last record...we tried very hard to make it a complete piece with every song complementing the next but each one being different and unique in its own way...this song will be slightly different when it gets on the record and is a work in progress...so to speak...but we figured that because Valentine's Day is considered a holiday and we love our fans more than any band because we sincerely care about you and all you well beings...this is a gift from us to you...take care

Woo! They've finished the album!!! I cannot wait for the release!! So yah, go listen to the song, it's amazing!

I love pretty much all of Billy Talent's songs. I can't wait til their new release. But I want a Pezz cd. I can dream! heart

So, sadly, they took off the song. I was hoping they'd keep it up longer.. But ah well. It was good while it lasted!
Renee, the cd is only $12... mind you, you do have to order it offline.. So you'd need a credit card... But... oh, actually, you can also send in a money order... If that helps... Your dream may come true! lol. I think I'm gonna order a copy of it.
