I think GOM should feature the thread called Audacity. It is a random gifting thread, and about once a week they randomly give a million gold to a regular.
The thread itself is only about 5 months old, but it is going strong and has a decent following.
I gift a lot and I find it a nice place to go to be generous to people who deserve it. They also have side games. For example, there is an Avatar of the Week, where you bid tokens and whoever bids the most, gets that avatar.
They also auction off art from a talented artist to get them recognition and customers.
They take donations that they keep on the thread mule to fund all the contests and random gifting, and here's the best part, they don't accept donation under 100k. The reasoning behind that being that they only want people to donate who can really afford it. They don't want people to be sending in their gold that they want to quest with, nor do they want people to feel obliqued to donate.
