I'd like to get back into being involved in the guild, and the last time I tried making an RP, it totally flopped into the dirt. I would join Museum of Endless Halls, but it's got close to 500 posts already, so that might be a bit hard...
Plus, I think it's a bit sad that we only have one RP, you know? :/
Anyone want to start a new one?
(and would this be OK to post in the RP forum so the regular members could see it too?)

yeah, um, I think we do need another RP, and we need at least one or two more active members. I was thinking of a couple of ideas to accomplish this:
1.) an RP contest in one of the big forums, in which we offer gold to the person who creates the most interesting RP. Then they can put that RP up in the guild.
2.) One of us makes an invite-only RP in the guild and invites all their RP friends to come participate. Or, Yellow Girl could revive her Midnight Academy thingy and re-post it here, and re-invite everyone who was in it before.
Whaddaya think? Any other ideas? Also, I think we should keep this tpoic in the tower for now, seems like the only place where it can really fit.

I like the idea of an invite-only RP, but maybe we should have it outside of the guild... That way we could get some new recruits, as well! Or we don't even have to make it an invite-only thing -- we could see who we get, and invite those people who we think would make good additions to the guild. What do you think of that?
I think we might want to do some advertising on the Guild Forum as well... just say, like, "Hey, we're cool and don't bite and stuff." :/

mm, I like the idea of advertizing in the guild forum, and the invite-only RP. Now if only we could get somebody to MAKE said RP.

So back to the topic of this new RP. We have several options:
1.) Invite a whole bunch of people to participate in an RP created in the guild
2.) An "RP contest" in one of the Gaia forums where whoever creates the most original RP gets MONEY and gets to join the guild and post the RP there, and invite whoever they want to the RP.
3.) I could just create one myself and see what happens.

Having the RP contest is sort of tedious, for reasons I'm not so sure why. Probably because of the money involved? Haha. xD
So far, what ideas for an RP have you got? Also, I agree with the whole advertising the guild through an RP outside the guild itself. Yeahhh, I know I'm pretty new here, but I couldn't help but want to expand the guild for the lot of us. xDDD

We can use my idea. You guys can help me make it better of course... I have quite a few ideas up my sleeve, so ask me for something and you'll get it! wink
Also, if you want a specific genre, just tell me.
I hope I'm not being too pushy or anything... Just trying to set the guild ablaze... a little...

Well... I'll just copy and paste what I explained to you.... *ahem*
Well... I got the idea watching the science channel on TV... They were explaining how black holes work... And I was thinking... Maybe if enough elements and stardust and organic materials flew into a black hole, if an organism could be born from it, sleeping in it's center in a big black blobby egg of some sort... nd it also told that galaxies revolve around gigantic black holes, so the ones in the center of galaxies are the organisms that are more complete. And Depending on the materials that the black hole has sucked up over it's life, it determines the powers of the organism.
My character was brought forth by scientists from the black hole in the center of our galaxy, thus destroying out galaxy. The scientists are usually not nice people, since they want to turn the black hole beings into war slaves.
Also, they uncover many underdeveloped black hole organisms, who's flesh is twisted and black and distorted, since they were not finished. At least part of their body is that way. I don't really know the story yet, something about freeing their kind... or something... You can work on it with me if you want... The guild can too.
