Personality: Gretel is a… rather indifferent wolf. She doesn’t get excited easily, unless it’s over something pretty being gifted to her. A bit of a priss, she doesn’t put much effort into interacting with others unless she deems them ‘worthy’, which is shallow and rude, but she doesn’t care.
Mate: Ha! As if any male could tolerate her attit-*tackled*

Background: Ever hear of the spoiled little rich girl? Gretel is one of those girls. She was the eldest among her siblings, and was treated like a little queen. When her parents weren’t around, she used her ‘birth-rite’ to lay claim on the nicer toys, and ordered the other pups around. She still lives with her parents, and they let her do pretty much whatever she wishes.

Personality: Lillia is like a rose, lovely and sweet, but handle her without care and she’ll reveal her thorns. Not very open to being the center of attention, she’ll usually keep her opinions to herself. This doesn’t mean she’ll tolerate being treated poorly though.

Familiar: Enkomi
Background: Born into a small family, she had a fairly comfortable life. Her mother was single, and made it her goal that all of her pups would grow into independent and self-confident wolves. Everyday taught Lillia something new about survival. While bathing one day, she happened upon the otter Enkomi, and they became immediate friends. With her new companion at her side, she felt like she would then be able to leave home like her other siblings already had and seek out her own life.

Meaning: Derived from a Latin word meaning "wave", the word ‘undine’ was created by a medieval author for female water spirits.
Likes: Water, storms, sea food, sweet fruits
Dislikes: Sour flavors, being talked down to
Personality: Being a water spirit in a fire wolf’s body can be very conflicting. Undine handles it like a queen though. She keeps her poise and grace no matter what. She is calm, level-headed, and understanding. Well, unless someone pushes their luck; and then her wrath becomes limitless. This only happens rarely though.

Family: Not around
Background: A dweller of the sea longed to live on land. She prayed every day to the goddesses of the noble wolves whom she admired greatly, wishing for legs and fur. For years she prayed, and her dream was finally answered. For one month, she was granted legs and fur and teeth, free to roam as she wished. While on land, she met a male wolf of the fire race, bold and brave. She had to have him, and so she did. From that night, a new life sprung, and thus was the water spirit’s daughter born. After the birth, Undine’s mother was forced to return to the sea, which had been delayed for the sake of the growing pup. Her father made sure she knew about her mother’s origins, and raised her to be the female she is today.

Meaning: Hindu for “unrestrained twilight”
Likes: Night time, privacy, peace, spice
Dislikes: Large crowds, captivity, surprises
Personality: While not a loner by nature, she keeps to herself for the most part. Her social graces aren’t exactly polished, but she can usually converse without completely offending others. Mainly for her own protection, she appears stand-offish and sometimes cold to those who attempt to get her involved. Anyone who does manage to gain a place at her side will have a loyal and trustworthy friend for life.

Family: Not around
Background: Her clan was small and secluded in the deep woods. They had a strange but wonderful ability that got them hunted down by poachers from all over. From dusk to dawn, the wolves of this pack faded from sight, essentially able to become invisible if they chose. Humans sought to harness this mystical power. Arundhati’s parents were killed by these poachers, and soon after, the pack realized separating was their only chance for survival. She’s been on her own since then.

Meaning: Named for the French entomologist Jean-Henri Fabre.
Likes: Hunting, fishing, puppies, frolicking
Dislikes: When anyone makes a point of it to remind him that he looks like a ladybug.
Personality: Jean-Henri usually just goes by Henri. He is an excessively lovable guy who enjoys meeting strangers. A bit of a party animal, so to speak. However, he is naturally defensive when it’s brought up that he looks like a ladybug. He likes his pattern, but others tend to focus too much on the ‘lady’ part of it.

Family: Not around
Background: Henri was born into a large family, and every one of them had the same ladybug pattern. Only the placements of their spots and the marks on their faces made identification possible. Being the runt of the bunch, he became an easy target growing up for bullies to single out. His siblings stood up for him when they could, and thanks to their support and care, he still managed to grow up a happy and well-rounded wolf. He left fairly soon after reaching adulthood to find a place where he wouldn't be lost among his siblings.

Likes: Teasing, playing tricks, the dark, fall season
Dislikes: Goodwill, emotions, spring season, dancing
Personality: He has taken after his father. He does as he wants, whenever he wants. Usually, his enjoyment comes at the expense of others. Someone once told him what his name meant, and it has gone to his head ever since. Emotionally he keeps to himself, but he does like being in crowds to cause trouble.
Mate: If you can get past his superiority complex. Otherwise, you'll just be a toy to him.

Name: Captain Lane Dris
Meaning: An anagram of “Islander” because he was inspired by the song ‘The Islander’ with “Captain” thrown in front because of the hat. ^_^
Likes: The sea, planning, dancing, singing
Dislikes: Chaos, being interrupted, dishonesty
Personality: Though mostly a solo runner, Lane does enjoy the company of others from time to time. He loves the sea, and he runs a fairly strict schedule, as though he were on a ship himself. He’s honorable and honest, and carries himself with pride in each step. Even he doesn’t always stay in ‘captain’ mode though, and is quite the fun loving guy when he lets himself. He has an amazing singing voice~

Meaning: Named after Michel de Nostredame (aka Nostradamus) from the 1500’s who is said to have prophesized major world events.
Likes: Nighttime, rain, being at peace
Dislikes: Gatherings of large groups, his visions
Personality: As the ghost of Christmas-yet-to-come, Michel is capable of seeing flashes of what the future might bring for the holiday seasons. However, he realizes that these events may be changed. Since he feels that this makes these flashes of insight a useless and simply annoying ability, he tells very few about them and is rather surly about the whole thing. Unconsciously, he knows he’s spoiling a precious gift, which only adds to his stand-offish attitude.

Background: When Michel was just a pup, he realized that he could see certain things before they happened. When he tried to tell his parents about it, they wouldn’t believe him. They were very stiff wolves, and even punished him for making up stories when he continued to insist it was true. When he talked to his siblings and friends about it, they only laughed. He tried to prove it more than once, but it seemed like when he told of what might happen, the wolf of his vision would do something completely different. It seemed he couldn’t say a thing to them... By his teen years, he was tired of being ridiculed by his family long after he’d stopped talking about it, so he simply left, and didn’t look back.

Meaning: A Greek mythical sea bird that charmed the wind and waves into calm weather. Also means peaceful, or untroubled.
Likes: Singing, the sea, fish
Dislikes: Disorder, heights
Personality: Raised to be punctual, efficient, and hard working, Halcyon is one who never gives up. Her standards are a little high, which can make her act snobbish. She looks up to her father a great deal, and is a complete daddy’s girl. Like her father, she has a wonderful singing voice, and the two will often spend a little time each evening singing duets for fun.

Personality: Azhar is like a rich prince. He loves the finer things in life, and his a bit egotistic. However, he does enjoy a little work, and likes feeling productive. He seeks a life rich with experiences, and is always seeking adventure.

Background: Azhar comes from a clan that lived in a very healthy and vibrant ecosystem. Food was plentiful; as were the servants. His family led the clan, and his whole litter was doted on by the clan. Growing up, he wanted for nothing. Still, as he got older, her felt like there was more to life than having everything done for him. The younger of many male siblings, he had little hope of inheriting his father’s role as leader, and he had no interest in fighting for it; so he decided to go off on his own, to find his own fortune.
