☒ Welcome to the Guardian Academy! ☐ Characters and players ☐ Links ☐ Rules Welcome to the Guardian Academy! You have been officially accepted to enter the Guardian Academy for both Vampires and Humans. The school was founded by four guardians 240 years ago. The guardians was pureblooded Vampires and mighty humans that believed that the two races could not only coo-exist but also work together. The guardians made many and great deeds for the world. Now, Humans and Vampires lives together in some societies, wich is a great difference. There used to be a constant war. As the guardians got fewer, two of them decided to honour the dead guardians by creating a school for them. Their names was Viceroy von Drac and Barnabas Beau Pre. Barnabas was a human and soon died at the very age of 103 years old.
The academy kept going and is now one of the most famous buildings in the whole world. Similair schools has been created around the world. With the same concept. Vampires and Humans working together. But the Guardian Academy is the original.
We have about 900 pupils in our academy. The students are Vampires, Humans and half-Vampires. The ages of our pupils are mostly 14-17.
I hope that you will enjoy your stay at our school. Head MasterViceroy von Drac✞ Guardian Academy building ✞ The school is positioned in the middle of nowhere, far away from the huge and disturbing human cities. This way, the Vampyric pupils won't have to worry about getting mobs after them. And the school´s position in the nature invites to study outside in the forests around or on the fields. The corridors that leads to the different rooms in the castle. The outdoor corridors that leads to the different sections of the castle . One of the big stairways leading to the second or third floor. Every student bedroom has two or three beds. Vampires and humans do not share bedrooms. Same goes with boys and girls. At the evenings, the pupils are told to stay in their bedrooms or in the dorms and not run around in the castle. The huge dining hall. The classrooms are old fashioned, just like the rest of the castle. The huge forests close to the castle are beautiful and incredible, but dangerous at night. Strange and nasty creatures linger here once the dark hours takes place. If you're patient enough you can reach the fields. And if you're stupid enough, you head towards the dangerous montains reaching towards the blue sky.

Vι¢єяσу νση Dяα¢ ஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐஐ The room was very tidy. Extremly tidy actually. There were no trace of dirt on the polished floor and the old pergaments laying on the huge desk was completely free from dust. One of the walls in the rectangular room was just a huge window. At both sides of the window was darkpurple curtain hanging down from the roof to the floor. The whole room was designed in a very dark and moody way. All the furtniture where dark too. But the room wasn't completely dark. Actually, it was pretty light. The sunlight was streaming into the room from two giant windows. The dark design and the strong light made everything in the room look slightly unreal. As if it was something taken from a old painting.
There was a tall figure standing infront one of the high windows, casting a long shadow on the perfect floor. His hair had a pretty strange colour. In the strong sunlight, it almost looked purple. And the figure was tall, very tall. And very skinny. Then the face. The face was as perfect as the rest of the room. Nothing too big or too small, nothing deviant. Even if it was the face of a pretty young man, it was something old over it. The man´s name was Viceroy von Drac and he was the headmaster of the academy he was in. For the moment, he was in his office. In his office in the left tower of the school. He was looking down on the green yard infront of the academy. It was a wonderful August afternoon to start school again for the pupils. He looked at the youngsters walking towards the school. Most of them were holding a paper and had a deep frown in their foreheads. They were confused over where they should go. There were old faces that Viceroy remembered, he never forgot about a face. And there were new. So many new faces. It made him happy. He adored his students, his dear pets. And it was always so much fun to see new faces. New things to remember. A small smile appeared on the old Vampire´s lips and he chuckled slightly. "Ah. Is it not wonderful, Drake? So many students this year. The teachers are going to have a hard time. But I believe it will be a most pleasureable year." He said, still looking out the window. Drake, the black raven, landed on his right shoulder. Together with his intelligent bird, he was looking out the window at the yard filled with hundreds of students. He knew that hundreds of them already had entered the building and was now looking for their dorms. They had all gotten the information about their dorms on the paper that had been sent home to them. The information to the vampires was also containing rules about not attacking humans or feeding on them, since that was very bad. The Vampires were going to be granted a few litres animal blood per week each. They got to feed on it in their dorms, so that the humans would not see it and be disgusted or scared.
Some kids on the yard had started to argue. He could hear them yell at each other, and from such a distance too. But, he was Vampire after all. They kids all first graders. A human girl got angry and slapped the human boy that had said something to her, and the boy stumbled back. Same thing every year. Some nervous first year graders started an dispute, but nothing serious. Just as every year.
"Let's hope this year will bring good fortune. And that we will get even more precious students next year." Viceroy said, an he let a finger stroke over the ravens feathred neck. The raven´s small eyes were pure blue, almost as if they had belonged to a human. Without anyone touching them, the curtains were closed and the room was silently embraced by the total darkness.

The August sun was shining upon the newly arrived students. The first years looked a bit confused, and some of them a bit scared. When they looked around it was as if they tried to figure out who was a vampire and who wasn't. In their hands they held a piece of paper with information.
A long haired, red headed boy stopped as he was walking towards the entrée. Due to the warmth outside he had put up his hair in a messy bun. A few stings of hair had fell down and framed his young, flawless face. On his back he had a worn-out black-ish rucksack from where he grabbed his letter. With his long, thin fingers he opened the envelope and took the paper out and carefully started to read it, trying to find out where he was going. His face twisted and he looked just as confused as the first years. It wasn't his first year on the school but he always seemed lost on the first day. With a sigh he looked around until he found an empty bench. As he walked towards the black metal bench with his luggage, he had to excuse himself many times to get through. When he reached his target he sat down to, once again, try to read what his letter said. Too much people. Too much noise. He couldn't concentrate. A bit frustrated, he scratched his neck before putting the piece of paper back in the envelope. "Well, I'll never find my dorm while sitting here." he thought and rose from the bench. Once again he joined the crowd of students who waited to get in. Always the same. So many people.
The afternoon sun was hot and even in his light clothing he felt like he was going to melt. The red headed boy had to pull his blue jeans up a bit, since they were a little too big for him even though he wore the smallest size. For his height, the boy was very slim and from behind he could be mistaken for a girl. The boy lifted his hazel eyes and admired the look of the old building. It sure did look like a castle with its towers and many windows. If not a castle, at least a big, fancy mansion. He liked the look of it and really liked to hang around the areas surrounding the school.
As he got inside the building he looked at the envelope. On the front was his name, Nathanael Pritchard, written in a cursive, calligraphic way in black ink. He pulled out the piece of paper that was inside and lazily watched the letters that formed the words he hardly could read. When he did that, he found what he was looking for. It was too obvious to even notice it the first time. "Now that wasn't too hard, was it?" he said quietly to himself. In the corridors some of the students had found their dorms and the red headed boy headed towards his. The August sun shone in through the windows. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and joy. It was going to be a most interesting year at the Guardian Academy.

The feeling of the rough bricks made the fingertip tingle slightly. Athan was walking down the noisy and crowded corridor. He was pretty tall and looked much older then he actually was, something he was very aware about. If he met someone new outside of school, he would lie and say that he was 19. As he walked, his black hair bounced slightly. His hair was covered with sweat. He had walked all the way to the school from the train station. He had missed the last bus. He had walked maybe 3 miles in this warmth with a heavy bag, and now his white shirt was glued to his body. It had been pretty unpleasant, even if the music from his ipod screaming into his ears soothed him. He had been going over all the curses he could, first in his head and then out loud. When he had gotten closer to the school, he had met some first graders. They had gotten scared by his special appearence and the dark voice swearing constantly. As they needed to go the same way as him, they had been walking as far away as they could from him. Athan hadn't been bothered by them, until one of them whispered something about him to her friend. Athan was already pissed, so of course he had screamed stuff like "What'cha glaring at you ******** punk?". But, he had found the school after lots of screaming at the kids that had been literally running away from him. Wich was...... positive?. He sighned loudly. How hard should it be to find the right dorm?! He had been walking around through the many corridors for about 15 minutes now. This entire school was like a labyrinth, and he had only seen about maybe about 5 procent of it. There was a huge number hanging down from the roof when he reached another wide maincorridor. 7. He felt like doing some sort of happy dance because he had finally reached the right corridor, but he wasn't too fond of dancing so he refrained from dancing. The wide worridor had mysterious paintings hanging on the walls, he could tell that the paintings showed some people that lived several decades ago. Maybe former students? He didn't know. And he didn't care. His finger was still running along the brickwall. And soon the rough material was replaced by a big wooden door. He stopped, placed his heavy bag on the floor and eyed the door. The text on a sign glued to the door told him that this was room 7A. Athan picked up his bag again and headed forward. He passed room 7B. There was some noise coming out of it. Some Vampire boys was having a eager discussion about something. The tall boy kept moving forward until he reached a big door with some minor cracks in it. Room 7C. Athan picked up a piece of carelessly folded paper from his jeans pocket. He unfolded the paper that was completely wrinkly. He read through the snirkly text until he found the information he was looking for. Yes, this was the right room. Athan let his hand slid into his other jeans pocket and he picked up the rusty key he had been given with the envelope from the headmaster that all students were granted. The rusty key looked even older then the door, wich seemed almost impossible since it looked pretty decrepit. He put the key into the lock and twisted. A small, metalic sound was heared and then the door was easily opened. The sight that met his eyes made the black haired boy surprised. The room was airy and big. And designed with furniture from the latest decade. The room with two beds, a desk, a bookshelf and two wardrobed was actually really neat. Athan couldn't think anything bad about it. It was such a contrast from the rest of the old-fashioned school. Athan picked out the earphones from his ears and tossed his Ipod on the bed closest to him. He inhaled the fresh air in the room, it wasn't any dust in the air here. It was actually really nice, not too warm either. He guessed that there was some sort of aircondition in the room that was hidden behind one of the ugly paintings hanging on the wall. Athan could tell himself that his roommate wasn't here yet, maybe he wouldn't come at all. THat thought made Athan hopefull, maybe he was going to be granted a own room after all?! A small smile appeared on Athan's thin lips. He dropped his gray bag on the bed covered with blue sheets. He was going to change his shirt, the one he was wearing now was soaked with sweat. He unbuttoned the black buttons on the white shirt while still eying the room. When he was done, he pulled the shirt of him and tossed the soaked cloth on the bed. Then he grabbed the zipper of his bag and opened it. He wondered if he was going to wear. Well, actually it didn't really matter. He didn't have any lessons until tomorrow anyway. He decided that he should unpack tonight or just listen to some music or maybe find some cute girls to flirt with. Or maybe some boys? Still shirtless, he began to look through his bag after something nice and cool. Maybe he could wear that black one with the two safety pins? He wondered where he had put it. He began to rip the clothing out of the bag as he looked through it after his shirt. Some socks and a pair of black jeans landed on the floor and the rest was spreaded out on the bed. Aha! Now there the shirt was!

As the red headed boy walked through the packed corridors, he listened to the voices of the other students as he was trying to sort them out and remember them. He closed his hazel brown eyes for a second and took a deep breath. The thick air was filled with various smells, mostly from the girls and their perfumes though. Nathanael took firm grip of his military green bag and his charcoal black case for his violin. On the wooden door to his left was a sign. 7B. Almost there. He kept on forwards until he reached the door to his room. It was close to where he had his room during he last stay at the school. Nathanael put his right hand in the pocket of his blue jeans to take the key out. The rusty key was warm from being in the pocket for such a long time now. As his put it in the door lock and turned it around, he noticed that the door was already unlocked. Was his room mate already there? The thought of whom he might be scared the red head a bit. The first meeting was always a bit nervous.
The boy stepped in to the fresh, clean room. The wooden door clicked close behind him. For a split second he thought he was alone, but then he noticed a boy standing by one of the beds. He had no shirt on him and he seemed warm. From the look of him, he was not the one you would mess around with. Nathanael studied the other boy for a few seconds. Black hair, tall, thin. Hopefully he would be nice too him. Nathanael swallowed and opened his mouth after what felt like for ever. "Hi.." he said a bit shyly with a soft tone in his voice. His lips curled up to a twisted, insecure smile. The red head walked past the other boy in the room and put down his bag on the blue sheets that covered both beds. He carefully put his violin suitcase down and thereafter his worn-out rucksack that he put on the floor. The thin fabric on his shirt was glues to his pale skin on the back where the bag had been and slightly cold feeling hit him when it was removed. Nathanael sat down on the soft bed and out his right leg over his other. He let his hair down from the messy bun he had put up and put the rubber band between his teeth. The red hair was thick, really thick. While standing, his hair would reach down just below his rear, but now that he sat down it landed softly on the bedsheets behind him.
From outside he could hear the students that were still there, waiting to come in. The boy took the black rubber band from his teeth and put his hair up again, also this time in a messy bun. He let his eyes wander in the big room. It was nice and very cosy. There was a few painting, that wasn't that fantastic but still, it was art. One painting, an oil painting, caught the boy's attention. It pictured an old, wooden table with a white tablecloth on it. There was a bowl of fruits as well as a metal plate, a fork and a cup. It was something special about that picture, only Nathanael couldn't put his finger on what. He let his eyes continue. Painting, wardrobe, wardrobe, room mate, bed, window. That there was only one desk didn't bother him. He preferred to do his homework in bed.
Nathanael rose from his bed and turned to his military green bag and unzipped it. He walked up to one of the wardrobes with the bag and started to unpack his things in silence. Most of his clothes were either black or white. Colours wasn't really his thing to wear. He put his shirts on the hangers and folded his jeans and put them on a shelve. There was also two pair of shoes; one pair for the winter and one pair for the summer. The socks and underwear was put in a drawer.
