People are in terror and the very president himself is worried about the outcome of this chaos. It just don't seem to be any other way then to solve it all with violence. Violence and money. Money spend to get rid of the bandits. Money given to the persons to gets rid or catches the bandits. Bounty hunters. So where does he get all the money? One importiant sorce is mining. The sun was as hot as ever, and it just refused to be nice on the earth's inhabitants. Becka sighned loudly and leaned back as much as the sadel allowed her to. "Gaaah....It's so hot!" She exclaimed loudly and glared at the strong sun. She couldn't glare for too long though, her eyes began to hurt. She blinked frequently and rubbed her eyes. "That man was playin' tricks on me when he said Wolf Creek was close." She said. She had the habit to start talking with herself when she was bored.

She had been riding for days now. Luckily, she had been as suspicious as ever when that ugly man had told her Wolf Creek was close. She had visited a bigger town, a bigger dump, a few days ago. She had asked about the way to Wolf Creek and had been told that it was just two days away. But of course, that drunk man had been lying. Or maybe he had just been to drunk to understand what he was saying.

They kept moving, the blonde woman and the paint horse. After a few hours they stopped. There was a small river crossing their way. A very small one, but it was not completely dried up. Jackson snorted, pleased to be able to drink. Becka removed one of her thick boots from one of the stirrups and swayed her free leg to the other side. There was a smaller shotgun attached to her thigh. She graciously got off the horse. As soon as she had gotten off the horse, she streched out greatly and yawned, she felt so stiff. She had been riding all day.
Her horse had already walked over to the tiny river and started to drink. The woman walked over to the animal and patted it's neck. Then she opened one of the bags that was attached to the muscular horse. She picked out her big waterbottles and sat down on the ground infront of the river. She sank her bottles down into the water and let the bottles being filled. When she was done she closed the bottles and placed them on the dried up ground. Then she leaned in and cupped her hands in the water. The water was chilly, really cold. It was unusual, since everything else here was so warm. She lift her hands up from the water, the importiant water dripping from her hands, and she drank from her cupped hands. It tasted sand, but it was refreshing. She sank her hands down into the water once again.

The soft thudding sound of hooves could be heard, as the horse galloped through the fields. On his back carrying a petit black haired girl. Her copper skin and black hair betrayed she was one of the native people that inhabited these lands. "Wooh" Koko's voice sounded, and the horse came to a halt. The girl hopped off, and the horse watched her curiously. Clearly, Koko could see a person and horse by the river. She had to be cautious as some people were searching for her.

Slowly, Koko began to move closer to the person and the horse. Her own horse was following behind her, his hooves barely made any sound now. As she came closer, she realized it was a woman, but she didn't let her guard down. Many times she had made that mistake, and it caused her to get caught a few times. Luckily, she was a master in escaping, and she always had her horse to make a run for it. There was something that the white skinned had that she didn't, they had fire weapons and they were dangerous. Koko had seen what these weapons could do to her own kind.

With a small gesture of her hand, the horse stopped following her. She wanted to explore first, before she put the animal in any danger. Looking around, she noticed a bunch of tree close to the small river. She hurried over there, and hid herself behind a large one. She peeked from behind the tree, to the woman. She could see the fire weapon glistening in the sun. 'This could be dangerous' She thought to herself as she continued watching. Koko was not very fond of the white skinned. They were the reason she lost her family and she was on the run.

She looked back at were her horse had been standing minutes ago, but he was gone. Koko didn't worry, the horse always returned, and maybe it was safer for him to not be here right now. No one knew the horse belonged to her, as she didn't have tack on him. Her family always believed in doing things the natural way. Thinking about her family made her sad, and she decided to focus on the stranger again. As far as Koko was concerned most white people traveled in groups, it was odd for this female to be out here by herself. Since she didn't know if this girl was an enemy or friend, she decided to wait till she left.

Becka swallowed the fresh water. This time, when she wasn't as thirsty as before, the water tasted very much of sand and salt. But it didn't really bother her too much. There was worse things in the world. She turned her head and looked at the tall horse, the American paint called Jacksson. He was greedily drinking from the river. It made Becka smile. No matter how many persons hated or hurted her, Jacksson was always there. He was more then a horse to her, he was a beautiful, intelligent creature that would always love her. The blonde woman placed her messy hair behind her ears as she looked at the horse. Then she cupped her hands again and sank them down into the water.

A loud snort coming from behind made her twitch so much that she lost her balance. She fell into the water with a loud splash. She let out a slight scream, in horror and in anger. Her beloved hat fell of, but she grabbed his fastly and put it back on. She immidietly stood up form the cold water, dripping wet, and stared at the horse that was standing before her. This wasn't Jacksson. This was a black and white horse. A pinto. She had seen one at the ranch, but it had been old and worn out. The pinto had belonged to a native, but the ranchowner had stealed the horse away from that old man. That had been the right thing to do of course, Becka thought, because Natives were wild and unhuman.

Becka slowly walked out of the river and looked around. There had to be a native somewhere. Where?! The woman felt her heart beat like crazy. What if it was a man? What if he was creeping around somewhere, looking at her. Waiting to throw himself over her.
"WHERE ARE YA?! COME OUT OR I WILL NOT GO EASY ON YA!" She screamed loudly to her surroundings. She was shaking, but felt stupid. How stupid she was. She was just paranoid. There was no one close here. She couldn't see anyone. Not even among the trees. She sighned in relief. There was no one there.

She focused on the horse instead. It was a beautiful horse. She stepped closer, the horse didn't move. It was perfectly calm. It was used to humans. Maybe the owner had died or something. Becka shrugged. This was good. She could sell the horse, it was a fine horse after all. Becka walked over to Jacksson who was no longer drinking. He was staring at the other horse, his eyes big of surprise from the sudden meeting and his ears laid forward. He was curious.
Becka patted his neck. "It's OK boy. We have a little friend here." She said and smiled gently to the horse. Then she opened one of the bags and picked out a strong rope. She took the rope and walked over to the horse. She tied the rope to a lasso around the Horse´s neck, it was still perfectly calm. "There. Now let's head to Wolf Creek before it get's dark." Becka said with a optimistic tone. Now she would get more money, she could buy more ammunition. Or maybe even a better gun. Becka tied the end of the rope around her own horse´s neck. Now the pinto could galopp beside Jacksson. Becka nodded, happy with the results. Then she made a final check, just to check if she had brought everything. She packed the filled water bottles down in her bags and fixed the saddle slightly. Then everything was done.
