This busy street is always packed, but is always moving at high speeds.

She hadn't gone too far, but he still chose not to answer her. He needed to concentrate on the drive ahead. He revved the engine, and it whined in response to him, as he raised it a few meters and went right over another car. It then occurred to him to turn the siren on. He flipped the switch as he went into a curve, putting the vehicle up on a side, but still maintaining a traction on the road, and the lights and siren blared. "I hate that thing." he commented about the sirens. He lowered the under jets, causing them to drop under a larger hover truck, and then gunned the engines again once they were through to jump a light cycle. He took another curve, putting it to its side again and drove along the side of a large wheeler truck, carrying its freight cross country. He jumped the edge of the next curve, landing hard on the way below, right in front of another vehicle, driving even faster. It was mainly just to distract him from his worries at the moment. It was mildly therapeutic. He swung the car again, taking off the edge. He didn't even really think about Page's well being.

Page frowned at his driving, but just held on, and was thankful she fanced herself in before they took off. Once they landed hard on the other highway cutting off a driver, she commented, "Calm down tiger, no need to cause more accidents?" She played it off in a smooth joke, and really ment no harm to it. If they were in danger she would shift into a small animal that could servive the blow. She wondered what tragicness happend at the Industrials and spaced momentarily.

He waved off her comment like it was nothing. He could see the Industrial Complex up ahead. He jumped the edge of the highway and landed on somebody's rooftop before ramping off of that onto the streets below, narrowly missing an old lady that was crossing the street. He then revved the engine and shot off like a dart towards the factory that was surrounded by Peace Keepers.

Gripping the safty handles harder, her knuckles started turning white, and she closed her eyes waiting until they came to a stop, or in this case a halt. She was glad they were nearing their exit and target, she took in a breath and then out again looking at all the Peace Keepers aboutt he area, "What..." She simply said.

Dave drove down I-74 towards Invictus City. The police back home were getting rather bold in their attempts to capture him, and he needed a change of scenery anyways. Change of scenery, this definitely was. Calling this part of I-74 a simple roadway would be an understatement, as each side was 5 lanes wide and 5 lanes high for low-flight vehicles. Dave's old and trusty station wagon was a wheeled vehicle, and one of only a few on this stretch of highway, the rest being air cars.

Dave took the opportunity to leave a little mark behind, and shifted the gas engine into neutral while engaging the rear electric motors, switching to rear-wheel drive. He used all five lanes to drift the small wagon gracefully left and right around the curves in the road. He was traveling quite a bit faster than the other traffic, but didn't check the speedometer because he was busy weaving between double- and triple- trailer semis like they were gymkhana cones. A small smile crossed his face as he wove his car through traffic.

A signpost overhead let Dave know he was getting near his exit - the Mall at Trade Complex. He downshifted and pitched the car into a controlled 360 degree spin to scrub off speed before taking the off-ramp onto surface streets. Once at the bottom of the ramp, the "show-off boy racer" behavior was gone, replaced with calm and casual driving. One of Dave's main policies is that the biggest thing about driving isn't following the rules of the road, but knowing when you can get away with breaking them. Highways are pretty low-risk, with plenty of escape routes. Surface streets are smaller and usually more congested, making it far too easy to get in a situation you really don't want to be in.
