Before we even get into races and such there are a few rules that need to be taken note of, despite how everyone should already know these we have had someone who apparently has forgotten them (thus they are now currently banned).
▸ Absolutely no god-moding, unless you are given permission you cannot kill another character or make that character move or anything of that sort.
▸ PLEASE NOTE: These are not ALL of the races you can be, just a few to give you all an idea of what you might want to be. If you think of something not on the list but you think it would work yet are still curious than contact Laeriel Rhuilea, the guild captain.
Races you cannot be:
☒ Lich's of any sort, ☒ Demi-gods, ☒ gods, ☒ Elemental dragons (if you have questions about this please ask Alara Morningstar, she is the dragon expert of this guild).
If you even make a profile with any of the above races before consulting us we will delete it, contact you, tell you why and refer you back to these simple rules.
Races
➟Humans
The mortal race of men dominates most of Roanor. They are strong, determined, stubborn, and are formidable foes even though most are not born with any innate magical abilities. The immortal king Silaedron rules them from the capital city Gorondrel.
➟Elves
Elves have always been relatively secretive, but since Silaedron ascended to the throne of men over two hundred years ago, they have become even more so. All elves share a profound love of nature and life, but consider their immortal existence a curse. Elves can be distinguished by the pale ethereal glow they emit, the beauty of their features, and the grace of their movements. Many of these fair beings ave become slaves to men after being taken when the city of Niethron was captured.
➟Dark Elves
Dark elves were once elves of the light, but were corrupted by the goddess Koranis. She convinced them to leave their home in Duraneth and live in Queros' Nordor. The dark magic they practice has altered their features so that the hair is black, silver, midnight blue, or indigo, their eyes are dark, and the deathly pallor of their skin. Like their lighter cousins, most dark elves are well versed in combat and the arcane arts.
➟Kornaks
They are the bane of Roanor, strong, swift, intelligent. They vaguely resemble large wolves, but are larger, reaching the shoulder of an average man. The blood that flows threw their veins burns flesh; but if boiled down and mixed with the right herbs, it can be an effective albeit painful way to cure infection. These solitary creatures were created by Koranis to serve her on earth, and call Queros' Nordor home.
➟Dark Falcons
There are few birds that are nearly as beautiful, deadly, and dangerous as the dark falcons. Their wingspan is over fifteen feet long, and their talons and beak are sharper than knives and red as the blood they spill. Sleek black feathers are tipped with crimson; their song is almost painful to listen to. They soar above the peaks of Queros' Nordor, feasting on anything and everything that breathes.

➟Dwarves
The dwarves are a proud race who while are smaller than any other are also physically stronger than any other such as humans, elves, and Halflings. Stories of their beginnings say they resided in mountains or beneath the ground, adding to the idea of them being a race that has endured much and thus have become a very resilient people. Dwarves are known to live long lives but they are not an immortal race, think around two hundred years or so. They make for excellent warriors and are known for holding some of the best berserkers in their ranks, but not only are they known for their amazing warriors but for their even more outstanding ale.
➟Windigo // Wendigo
They have a multitude of different names that they are known by, but a common one is Windigo or Wendigo. They are in no way shape or form a kind or peaceful race. They are a cannibalistic race that is thought to either be possessed by a cannibalistic spirit or are humans who have indulged in cannibalism and thus turned into a Windigo. WIndigos are not good-looking creatures but it is not improbable for them to have a human form although when they have their form revealed it is not uncommon for people to band together to prevent Windigo’s from more devastation.
➟Swan Maidens // Selkies // Seal Men
Swan maidens and selkies are extremely similar to the other. Selkies and Swan maidens (it is possible for there to be men in both of these) remove their swan feathers or seal skin to become human. Any of the skin they remove turns into some sort of garb that they keep hidden to prevent people from finding, but it is not untold for the selkie/swan maidens/men skin to be stolen. In this case they are bound to that person and forced to obey every command. It is not impossible for these two races to fall in love with someone and serve them without losing their magical abilities. When these races have children it is possible for the children to sing songs of where the mother/father has hidden the clothing, allowing them to recapture their lost skin. When this occurs they will leave the one from those who had stolen their skin as well as the children they could have had.
➟ Dragons
A dragon's aging begins at an accelerated rate after they hatch and will slow to a halt around their 8th to 10th human year of life, which is the time where they are reaching the physical age of a full grown. Once a dragon is full grown it is then considered an adult, because of this such relationships between a dragon of a dozen years old may in fact mate with one barely a few hundred years old. Young dragons can only have an affinity for a handful of things. If they can spit fire they are cannot produce acid or lightning, if they can control plants or rocks then they cannot spit fire. Due to their longevity dragons spend their time finding ways to keep themselves entertained while trying to keep things in 'balance'. This means different things to each dragon. Where one may believe that they must keep the balance of nature versus tamed lands, others will think of the balance or power, of good and evil, others will still be setting about freeing slaves. They do this by taking up professions and forms of other races. Doing anything from being assassins to cause intrigue or to be gaurds in order to play the government. However, being a secretive race they MUST keep their true forms hidden, this also includes using their powers in excess. If a dragon is found out and captured they are often times sold in pieces for the magical properties of their scales, feathers, and hair. This can and will put all other dragons at risk so it is at the dragons digression whom they open up to. It is forbidden to take other beings into the realm of dragons. As creatures of magic if they use too much of their power they can risk using their very life force and risking death. Another ability a dragon has is to share life forces with other races but only through sharing a part of an organ (i.e. heart or liver) but being a magical species they end up with their life being permanently attached to the other person. Always sharing poisons, pains, and damage makes one stronger but the dragon weaker. The main way to kill a dragon is to get beneath the dragon's scales, if you can accomplish such a task you can have the upper hand in the fight.
Dragons have to remain reclusive otherwise they can bring themselves and other dragons at risk. If they became too much trouble they are liable to be attacked by not only other dragons but also hunters as well.
➟Aviarians
Aviarians are a subspecies of harpies and because of this they are shunned, believed to be the work of Koranis when in truth they are Dresd'in's children. For the most part though Aviarians look amazingly similar to humans themselves besides the fact that they have wings and depending on genetics the wingspan for an Aviarian will average around 9 to 13 feet and those are the normal sizes. Aviarian wings do fold in, they can be hidden very easily as it will merely look like the wings are just muscle beneath clothing or could be mistaken for an underarmor, remember the larger the wingspan makes it more difficult to hide the wings. The large the wingspan, the more attractive the individual.
➟Harpies
Harpies are the cousins of Aviarians and were created by Koranis. They can be a multitude of predatory birds but the most common they are known for is being half vulture, half human. Harpies usually look less human and take more birdlike features, they also have a larger wingspan then most Aviarians. Harpies, although despite how they can fold their wings back they are usually noticed, i.e. the larger the wingspan the harder it is to hide your wings. An unusual fact about harpies is that they are particularly fond of things that are shiny, jewelry is something that you might find most harpies nests stashed with, so much so their nests will sparkle in the night. Harpies are also known for pillaging and kidnapping people, those who are taken are rumored to be taken back to the nests where they are eaten and never heard from again.
