Dawn walks up to her dorm knocks on the door hoping someone(her new roomate)will aswer the door, no one does.she opens the door only to find to find 2 large queen sized beds empty.oh well,maybe a roommate will come along. neutral

Dawn pulls back from the embrace and looks straight into Kaylas eyes.
"Are you a VAMPIRE??" she inquires.
if i tell you will you run away?
Both girls are silent.

"Well, actually i am half and half. I try not to drink human blood but in emergency, i do. I was raised this way. With my dad, Dracula, King of all vampires, he taught me to drink human blood for all nutrients we need to survive. Yet after my mother told me of how dad killed her,by turning her into a vampire, so they could be together for the rest of thier lives, she told me of horrid pain day and night until the venom reached her heart. I never wanted to hurt a human this way, which is why i try not to drink human blood.....He also told me that the humans will turn into vampires as well, if we drink their blood, and forever be a slave to him, as he is king,"sighed Kayla. The two walked inside the dorm getting ready for bed, as it was close to ten o'clock.

"nothing,its just she reminds me of my sister.she's gone now though,she was taken by dracula as his slave", said Zen
"i'm dracula's daughter,i never saw her at the castle," said kayla.

Kayla and Dawn watch as Zen runs down the hall.
"Do you think he's lying?" asked Kayla.
"I dont know...it's hard to tell with the younger ones"
"What do you think?"
"I think we should meet him at the dining hall befoe he gets upset"
"I'll race you!"
"You're on!"
Dawn started to run, but Kayla was faster. She ran ahead and down the hall then ran into Mychal.
"Oh, um...sorry Mychal"She stuttered, and blushed.
"Perfectly fine with me." wispered Mychal.
Mychal was a hazelnut haired, emerald eyed, teenage boy.
At the time he and Dawn were an "item".
Dawn finally caught up to Kayla and saw them together. She slowly backed up behind the corner and watched them together.
What could they be doing together? She KNOWS we are dating...
Kayla looked down at her shoes.
"Hey, whats the matter?"Mychal said as he lifted her chin with one finger.
Their eyes locked.
A passionate embrace came over the two vampires.
Mychal and Kayla looked at each other.
Their lips gently touched each other as their embrace turned into a kiss.
Mychal pulled back.
"We shouldn't be doing this....im dating Dawn"
They continued kissing while Mychals hands slid down Kayla's body and Kayla's hands got tangled in his hair. Mychal stumbled backward to touch the knob of his bedroom door. Slowly he turned the knob and opened the door. They remained kissing as they walked through the door.
Dawn watched them untill the door closed. Teary-eyed she ran to the dining hall.
No matter how sad i am, i can't dissapoint Zen.

"Daaaawwwnnn!!!" Mychal yelled after her, pushing Kayla aside, and running after her. "DAWN!"
Kayla for the first time looked around the room. There was a bed against the corner of the right wall a closet and a desk with supplies on it, and a lamp. The walls were bare aside from a painting he must have made himself.
I...I saw sparks
Kayla thought.
This can't be happening, what have I done? how could i do this to my best friend! How....WHY could this happen? But those sparks
Her thought trailed off. The she shook her head.
Those eyes....His HAIR!! His silky lips pressed against mine as we both Touch...I....I Her eyes glowed as a strange sensation took over her.
I Want.....MORE
Then she smiled.

Mychal started to cry. He couldn't help it, but he just lost someone he truly loved. What the f__k was i thinking when i was with kayla? WHY did that happe? it was,well...somehting just had come over me. WHY?! because of her...i....lost Dawn. Dawn was smokin' hot, smart and, a good kisser. But Kayla...something about her made him forget his troubles.

Kayla looked at the painting. It was a replica of his dorm. Something was different though...i mean, there HAD to be something different...right? She came closer to the painting and examined it, then looked at his room again. The painting made the lock on the door look...deep. The closer she looked at it the more realistic it seemed. Finaly, she poked it with her index finger, fully expecting only to feel canvas, only when she poked it, there was a hole! Kayla tried to take her finger out of the whole but the painting opened as well. Like a safe. Inside were a few candles and at least a dozen photos of Dawn in heart shaped picture frames. Most were of her but some had him with her too. Dawn and Mychal, DAWN and MYCHAL, DAWN AND MYCHAL!!!
Sparks can fly but i cant...i need to kiss him again, find out if the sparks are real. She thought. If they are...he, will be mine.
She ran through the door saw Mychal standing, crying, looking at the spot where Dawn last was. Kayla "accidently" knocked him to the ground.
Sorry, Dawn, but, i need a boyfriend too.
Instantly, a second later, her lips were pressed against his. Almost automatically his hands were moving down her body, her back. They rolled over together, still kissing. Kaylas eyes turned light pink, then in a flash, back to normal.
Guess he's mine now, Dawn
