Bast woke up slowly, staying in that dazed half sleep for a while. it was nice to linger there anyways, pleasant. It was comfortable but kept the reality of bieng alone away. Bieng alone, what was that scent?
He hadn't yet opened his eyes.

Larissa stretched sleepily, her eyes closed. She was having the most wonderful dreams. She sighed contently, the happiest she had felt in a long time. She was afraid to open her eyes, but the sun was shining so brightly down on her, that she could no longer sleep and the heat was starting to bother her.
She opened her eyes and next to her laid a large black wolf by her side. He wasn't a dream! She was so happy, without thinking twice she nuzzled his face and kissed him. She blushed when she realized what she had done, and looked away shyly wondering how he would react.

Still half asleep Bast nuzzled her back, burying his nose in her ruff. ~hmm, she smells nice. So nice. And warm soft fur...~
A sleepy smile crossed his face before he cracked his eyes open. Int he split second it took for him to realize what he was doing, he backpedaled, splutteering apoligies.
"I ah, sorry. I didn't mean, I mean I..."
He wasn't sure if the blush was visible through his fur or not, but he sure felt it.
"Well ah... you smell nice..."
He mentally kicked himself as soon as the words were out. Why would he say that, wouldn't she take it the wrong way?
He looked away, averting his eyes letting out another mumbled apology.

She smiled and wagged her tail gently back and forth as he buried his nose in her fur. It ended abruptly though as Bast got up, apparently surprised by what he had done. Larissa was saddened by this...the brief bout of affection had ended far too soon for her liking. She wanted him next to her again.
"Do not apologize", she said as she walked towards him and nuzzled his cheek. "I must admit, I quite like the affection. And how nice it was today to wake up with someone by my side too..especially by one so handsome." She giggled softly and blushed, kissing his cheek. She sighed contently and couldn't stop smiling. She felt so happy and complete here with him. She didn't intend on leaving this place, or him, anytime soon....if ever.

Bast let out a small sigh of his own, rubbing against her. "If you don't mind it....." He paused "Would you like something to eat?" He asked, staying close by her side enjoying the feeling of the warmth of their fur.
