Well, not per se... CBS, Warner Bros. forming new TV networkAs a result, The WB and UPN will cease operations. The new network (The CW) will have a mix of programming from both networks. It goes "live" this fall. As for Smallville's fate, I'd imagine it will stay assuming the ratings stay where they need to be. Though I am curious as to which shows will make the rest of the programming blocks.

So, does this mean that WB (ch. 10 for me) and UPN (ch. 12 for me) will come together as The CW on channel 11?
Maybe they will have Voyager back! and Special Unit 2 aswell!

If Supernatural gets the axe I'll be pissed. That show is scarier that most of the horroor movies Hollywoods churning out.

I hope they don't cancel Smallville. It's one of the few shows I watch on either channel.
I wanted to watch Supernatural, but it's never on at a time when I can watch it.

I have a tough time because Supernatural is on the same time as House here. House is my favorite show, but it keeps getting bumped for American Idle. rolleyes
I used to be really inot Smallville, but can't watch it since they moved it to Thursdays and I teach class that night.

Wikipedia It has been confirmed that starting with the sixth season it will be part of The CW's network lineup after The WB ceases operations in September 2006.
