I love them dont you?
A pentagram is a five point star, which represents the four elements (Earth,Air,Fire,Water) and a fifth point (on the top) which represents the spirit.
the outer circle is sometimes interpreted as binding the four elements together or bring them into harmony with each other.
what do you think? do you wear one? what is your favorite symbol?

They're alright. I prefer wearing a spiral to represent the flow between the material and the spiritual.

I wear one around my neck and usually one or two on my fingers. I also wear a septagram. The four elements, above, below and within.
Ever notice we say pentagram and septagram AND we say pentacle, but never septacle??? I am going to start saying septacle! (I am a really lame trend setter)

The one around my neck is pretty cool. It has a crescent moon that is filled with celtic knotwork. The pentacle sits inside the circle that the moon makes. The pentacle has a piece of amethyst in its center. I really like it.
I used to wear a plain pentacle and sometimes I really miss it. Weird huh? I think part of the reason I miss it is because it was first one.

I have a few pentacle pendants, I usually choose one based on my outfit for the day, most are on the smaller side, two are simplistic the other two a bit more ornate. Three have stones so I only wear them when I want the energy of that specific stone. I also tend to wear a triquetra, a triskele, and Celtic cross fairly often.

We're discouraged against wearing any religious symbols at my place of work so I generally leave my pentagram necklace at home.

Alan the Great We're discouraged against wearing any religious symbols at my place of work so I generally leave my pentagram necklace at home. I have one that is wrapped up in a bunch of celtic knot work. It is easy to just call it a star and say I like cosmic things. I have a friend who wears what looks like a 5 petaled flower. It is not interlaced so nobody could really call it a pentacle. But she can wear it to work and it makes her feel closer to the Goddess. I have a friend who lives in Texas and her house is filled with those Stars that are so popular there. To her she has pentacles all over the place and anybody could walk into her house and never know how she feels about them. Another thing you could do would be to get a necklace with any kind of stone that reminds you of the goddess and wear that. Amethysts, quartz, moonstones... etc.

Have any bad experiences in particular?

UNLESS you wear low cut shirts... I personally am very careful about who sees my pentagrams. I actually prefer to keep my pentagrams inside my shirts, I'd rather have them close to my body than out on display.

Literally thrown too. Things like water (them saying its holy water), bibles, crosses, pictures of Jesus. I had one teacher who gave me a Bible and said I should read it. >>.>>

bubbles269 have you ever tried wearing it underneath your shirts? I wear a button down shirt so the top button is open and the necklace generally falls out.

I own about two pentacles. Both I bought from Spencer's on a whim. I've had them for two years and never wore a single one. Mainly because I too wear in Texas and I don't need or want the flack from the people here. Many of them really don't get paganism, Wicca, witchcraft, etc and assume whatever a pastor tells them is true.
However the past few days have been different. I've found myself wearing one of my pentacles as a warding charm, or good luck charm. Why? Well for the past two weeks, every Wednesday I've been getting stalked by some random guy on a bike...

Huh, I never had any of those experiences when I lived in Kentucky. In fact, a few times that I wore a pentacle, I actually had someone say "cool star." People in my hometown tend not to be very pushy about religion, but they sorta have to be since it's a military community and people come from all walks of life.
