Watching as the soldiers of Atlona trained, Ashiel sighed. The trainies where still rough, like a uncut jewel. But under the watch of their General, they would be shining jewels of warriors. But before he could attend to the warriors, there were other things to do. Turning to a his leautenant, he spoke. "Watch over these ones. I have business to attend with my queen..." Walking off, he robes swished in the wind, and his armor clanked as he walked.

Standing in the main gates path, Ashiel Darkthorn saw Esmerelda approaching, others not far off. "My Queen," He said bowing. "You should be careful being out and about these days. The elements grow relentless and brutal approaching the winter months." He said monotonously.

Heise appeared from out of nowhere with bow in hand and an arrow notched just in case. He bowed his head to Ashiel before speaking.
"Master Ashiel. Do you think I would leave our queen unguarded? Just because I am an advisory doesn't mean I don't remember our lessons well. No harm shall come to her under my watch."
A smile lit in his eyes though it didn't touch his face. A tropical looking bird came to fly overhead. Standing with the bowstring relaxed and arrow pointing to the ground he held a hand in the air as the bird came to perch on his fingers chirping its friend and master.

Chuckling hallowly, Ashile looked over Heise. "Of course. You were always a bright warrior. The Queen is under protection now, so come. I wish to speak with you on a matter. Warrior to warrior," He said, turning sideways, motioning with his cowled head to follow.

Esmeralda looked to Ashiel before she looked to Heise. She couldn't exactly understand why they were so worried. The world seemed so peaceful around the castle. She also didn't want to seem like she was hostile towards the other kingdoms. Her eyes watched them leave before they went to Kira and Riku. "Let's go and get you dried off," she said to Riku before she started to lead both twins to the back kitchen.

"Of course, master." Heise let the bird crawl across his hand before perching it on a shoulder. He followed Ashiel noting that the queen was headed towards the safety of the castle. When he was sure no one else could hear them he turned to his teacher and friend.
"There is great unrest approaching, master Ashiel. I feel it as I feel the coming winter."

"And that is what i wanted to speak to you about. Cereberes, as you know," Ashiel started. "Is rebelling, upsetting the balance of things. Their General, Falien Durg approached me today and wanted me to train his warriors. Expected, since i have lived longer than most warriors," The spectre stated. Holding one hand over his swords hilt, the general of Atlona turned on a heel and motioned to Heise to continue following. "There is much to still be done Heise. We must learn where each warriors loyalty stands,"

"Yes, I have seen the darkness gathering on the horizon in Cereberes. It had concerned me for some time now. That is a great respect to be paid considering the pride of that kingdom."
Heise wasn't liking what he was hearing. He had giving offerings and prayers unto Atlona but so far had been unanswered. Though this may be just that, his answer. His movements mimicked Ashiels as they walked. The inner workings of his mind began to turn as Heise processed the information.
"How shall we test them? Certainly they shouldn't know that their loyalties are being tested though. A great many could take offense and rebel or join the forces of others."

"In life like you, i would have asked this same question," Ashiel started. "But in death, as a spectre of days long forgotten, these questions are futile to me. The warriors are loyal to the leautenants, and they have yet to decide. I will personally question them, and as the oppotunity presents itself, search their soul." Stopping, the General looked at Heise. "You must stand watch and make sure there is no struggle from the ones i question,"

Heise nodded. His loyalties lied with Ashiel and Atlona no matter the cost. Without them he would have been animal feed and he knew that. He would go to the abyss and back again for Ashiel.
"I understand my orders, master. Which regiment will undergo questioning first? Also, about the queen. I have to inform her about what has and will be happening. Would like to be there to further elaborate or shall I go alone?"

Esmeralda let some of the servants help the two girls as she went off to check out other things in the castle. She was slightly curious as to what Ashiel and Heise were planning and she felt like she should know about it. Especially if it had to do with her kingdom. She didn't even want to think that the men were changing the ways of the kingdom. She wanted it to remain neutral. She didn't like war among many things. She wanted Atlona to stay safe.

With a nod Heise left Ashiel to find their queen, Esmeralda. After asking a servant if he had seen the queen he went to her. When he found her he bowed deeply in respect then straightened.
"My queen. Ashiel has informed me of some disturbing news that we need to discuss in private. I fear Atlona will not be as safe as we have been if appropriate steps are not taken to ensure her defenses."
Heise knew how much the queen wanted Atlona to stay a safe haven for her people. Any queen would want that. But the ill feeling he had and what Ashiel had told him brought great unrest to his soul. The bird chirped at Esmeralda happily from Heise's shoulder in greeting.
