-It's a twewy fanfic I wrote-
Chapter OneShe placed her hand on her chest as she felt her heart beat. Sweat ran down her face from all the running she just did, but she knew that this game was not done yet. She soon heard someone or something coming closer to her. She looked outside and the he was. She ran away as he chase her down. A slam was heard as he had ran into the wall and she was safe.
"You're lucky this time…Rhyme. I'll get you next time." Neku meowed as he walked off. Rhyme sighed and looked around her mouse hole. She sat on her tiny bed and put her head in her hands. Thoughts about this new game were in her mind. Her tail soon curled around her, giving herself a hug as she thought more about it.
"Why….why did Joshua do this to us…." She mumbled. "If Joshua didn't change us to be like this, things would be the same, now me and Neku are like his pets…so should I say more like toys." She lay on her bed and looked at her ceiling. She put her mouse ears down as they lay onto of her soft black beanie. Joshua had turned her into a mouse and Neku a cat.
A knock was soon heard outside her hole. She got up and walked out of it, only to see Joshua looking down at her. Rhyme's face showed happiness to him, but she was mad on the inside. Rhyme didn't like to be mad, but having Joshua make Neku chase her for a meal was a good reason to be mad. Joshua got on one knee and picked her up. He placed her in his hand and smiled at her. "Oh Rhyme you don't need to hide your feelings about this from me for I can tell what they are." He spoke as he rubbed Rhyme's chin with a finger. "Maybe I should make you think like a mouse like I've made Neku forget about everything else in his life and made him just a cat." He spoke tautly.
She soon turned away and pouted. "Joshua, if you know my feelings about this then why keep me like this? I can understand the Neku thing, but why me. You know how much I miss Beat and Shiki." She spoke as a tear rolled down her cheek. Joshua's smile turned evil.
"Good idea maybe I could have more pets, but have you be the only one with memories of being a human and being friends with them." He spoke as he set her down. He looked down at her again before leaving. Joshua took out the pin that he used to make Rhyme and Neku like this. He looked at Rhyme and smiled. "Don't worry little mouse, I won't use it on them….yet" He giggled as he went into another room.
Rhyme went back into her hole again and began to think what animals Joshua would make Beat and Shiki. Rhyme sighed. She rested herself on her bed again and closed her eyes. Her breath turned soft and warm. She was soon asleep. She began to dream about how life was like before this whole thing had happened and how happy everyone was, but her dream soon took another turn. She twitched and rolled around in her sleep. She was dreaming about her life right now.
It was soon morning. Rhymes nose twitched as she woke up to the smells of wonderful breakfast foods. She got out of bed and looked out her mouse hole. She didn't see Neku yet and she took a deep breath. She bolted out and ran to the kitchen, but by the thump of a paw landing on her tail she had stopped. She turned around to look at him. His mouth was open and he was hungry for a meal. He slowly picked her up and she was right infront of his eyes. She looked into his eyes scared. He opened his mouth. She thought that it was the end.

Chapter 2 Neku closed his mouth and looked at Rhyme. Rhymes eyes were closed, but Nekus were wide opened. He was examining her. 'Rhyme…this mouse…I feel like it's a friend, but…I don't know anything more about her then her name.' He then flicked rhyme out of his paw and turned to her. "Just be glad I'm not hungry anymore…" Neku walked onto a pillow in the other room. He curled up and sighed. 'Why didn't I just eat her…I don't know that mouse..' He turned to Rhyme who was still in the kitchen.
Rhyme climbed onto the table which had all the food on it. She looked around at all of it. She slowly grabbed some bits on bread before jumping down. Rhyme was soon in her mouse hole again. She slowly ate the bread as she began to think about why Neku didn't eat her. She didn't want to be eaten. "Neku…did you still remember something about being human or was I really just lucky..?" Rhyme spoke to herself as she continued to eat.
Soon a bark was heard from outside her mouse hole. Rhyme jumped. 'Joshua you didn't!' Rhyme ran outside her hole and knew that one of her nightmares had come true. Joshua turned Beat and Shiki into more pets for him. Beat was turned into a husky puppy. He was still wearing his skull cap and had a collar with the small skull from his chain necklace. Shiki was a bunny. It was brown just like her hair and around her eyes it looked like small black glasses were made in her fur. Beat and Shiki both turned to Rhyme. Beat run up to her and with his tail wagging. Beat gently picked Rhyme up with his teeth and brought her over to Shiki.
Rhyme smiled and giggled. 'Does Beat and Shiki still have their memoirs as human..?' Rhyme thought to herself as Beat gently set her down. Beat and Shiki were still a lot bigger then Rhyme. They both looked down at her. "Um…Hi guys..?" Rhyme spoke unsure of what to say. Beat curled up around her.
"I missed you Rhyme." Beat said as he looked at Shiki. Beat put his head next to Rhyme. "Shiki does not remember anything about being…human.?" Beat whispered as Shiki hopped away. Beat licked Rhyme, but having Rhyme be tiny she was soon covered in saliva. Rhyme had a grossed out face, but shacked it off as a sweat drop fell down her cheek. "So do you remember anything about being human..?"
Rhyme nodded. "Yes, I do remember. So it seems like Shiki and Neku both don't remember….I do also think it's funny that Joshua made you a dog…having Neku being a cat and trying to well….you know." Another sweat dropped followed the other one. Rhyme felt really weird not talking about all this animal stuff.
"So Neku does not remember and he has been…Wait a sec! Phones has been tryin' to eat you?!?!" Beat got up and was growling. His sharp teeth began to show and so did the claws. Beat looked more like a tiny wolf then a husky. His eyes turned red with angry. Beat has been angry with Neku at times, but eating his sister was a good reason to be pissed off and angry. Beat began to march his way over to Neku, but Rhyme soon grabbed the end of Beats tail trying to make him stop. Beat was to angry to stop his hunt for Neku, as Beat was marching rhyme was still grabbing the end of his tail and was being dragged by Beat.
Joshua entered the room and show how angry Beat was and that Rhyme was being dragged. Joshua got on his knees behind Beat and gently picked up rhyme in his palm. With Joshua's other hand. He snapped his fingers and Beat was in a cage. Joshua set Rhyme down and walked away. Rhyme ran over to Beat and sighed. "I'll get you out of the cage, Beat. Don't worry."

Chapter 3
Rhyme soon began to look at the area around for where Joshua would put the key to the cages lock. Rhyme sighed a bit and turned to Beat. She climbed into the cage and gently petted Beat muzzle. "I have no idea where Joshua would put the key Beat." She spoke as she walked over to the Key.
"No it's ok, Rhyme I mean atleast your trying…" Beat spoke as he soon sighed. He had no idea why Joshua would make then animals nor why Joshua would let him and Rhyme still have memory about being a human. Beat put his paws on his head. "Yo man this is all to confusing!" He barks softly.
"Hey Beat I think I found a way to open this cage…" Rhyme spoke as she put her mouse tail into the key hole and moved it around a bit. The lock soon made a unlock sound, but instead it shocked Rhyme. A robotic voice soon spoke, "You must us the key to open.." Rhyme sighed and soon turned to Beat.
"I guess I'm gonna have to find it…" She spoke as she jumped out of the cage. She turned to Beat and then walked into the kitchen which happened to be the room that Neku and Shiki was in. When Rhyme entered there, to her surprise Shiki was now a cat too, not a bunny. Neku and Shiki walked around Rhyme with their cat tails in the air. Rhyme gulped as Neku tried to grab her in his paw, but Rhyme ran.
Rhyme was soon in a different room, it was Joshua's bed room. This was the first time Rhyme even ran in here. Rhyme looked around and was a bit surprised that Joshua was not in here, so Rhyme looked around. Rhyme soon walked over to a table, so she began to climb up it. Rhyme was soon at the top and there were bottles, pins and a lot more. Rhyme carefully looked at them all one by one until she found 2 bottle. One said Neku's memories and the other said Shiki's memories. Rhyme soon had an idea, but then continued to look around for the key to Beat's cage.
Rhyme soon found it. She grabbed it and ran right out of Joshua's room. She was soon in the kitchen, with Neku and Shiki right infront of her. "Whats that the mouse has now?" Shiki spoke. "I don't know, but who cares we are gonna eat the mouse anyway!" Neku spoke as he tried to get rhyme in his paw again, but Rhyme hit his paw with the key and continued to run. She was then at Beat's cage and put the key in the lock, soon unlocking the cage. Beat walked out and gave Rhyme a huge lick as his tail wagged. "Hey Beat." Rhyme spoke. "What is it..?" Beat said as he stopped wagging his tail. "I got a plan…"

Chapter 4 Rhyme grinned and looked up at Beat. "So you wanna hear my plan?" She asked. Beat soon nodded and lowered his head. Rhyme walked over to him and whispered it. A smile grow on Beats face even though he was truly confused. "So wait Rhyme…neku and Shikis memories of being humans are in bottles in Joshua's room right? And you want us to get the bottles, open them and then pour the stuff in Nekus and Shikis drinks hopping that they will remember or they will be like cats forever…?" Beat asked. Rhyme then blinked at him wondering how he was able to think and understand all that she said. I mean knowing Beat you think he would atleast be confused or something. Rhyme then shook it off and nodded. "Alright lets go!" Beat barked. He then lowered his head so Rhyme could get on. Rhyme then climbed on and they headed to Joshua room.
Beat was then in the kitchen, he turned to Neku and Shiki, he saw they were asleep. He then quietly walked into Joshua room and moved to the desk with the bottles on it. Beat put his nose to the table, Rhyme then walked off him and then onto the table. She looked at the bottles, they were both the same size as her, maybe a bit bigger. She then turned around. "Um…Beat, we are gonna need to do this one at a time." She spoke as she grabbed one of the bottles. She then walked onto Beat and they went back into the kitchen. Beat walked over to Neku and Shiki water dishes. He then let Rhyme off so she could pour the stuff into one of the dishes. Rhyme opened the bottle and poured it into Neku's bottle.
After that Rhyme got back onto Beat and headed back for the other bottle. They then soon had the bottle with Shiki's memories and headed to her water dish. Rhyme jumped off Beat and ran over to the dish, soon pouring in the stuff from the bottle. Rhyme and Beat quickly headed for the living room. Beat laid down and Rhyme sat down near his head. "So Rhyme do we just…you know wait now..?" He asked. "Yeah…I hope my plan works because if not we'll both be animals until we die, which is only a few years….well counting on the animal and stuff." She spoke.
Back in the kitchen Neku and Shiki both wake up. Neku yawned and walked over to his water dish he looked at it, then turned to Shiki. "Hey..um…I think there is something wrong with the water." He meowed. "Just drink it…it should be fine." Shiki yawned back to him. Neku shrugged and began to drink his water. He quickly jumped and shook his head. "Where am I..?" He asked himself. He was back to normal. He then looked into the water and saw his reflection. He jumped and ran into the living room. Neku blinked at Beat and Rhyme. "….Beat….Rhyme..?" He asked. Beat and Rhyme nodded. "Ok now all we need is for Shiki to drink her water and we are all set for plan two." Rhyme spoke with a smile as Neku and Beat blinked at her.

Chapter 5 Shiki soon walked over to her water and began to drink it. Shiki then walked into the living room and blinked at them. "Ok….what happened and why are we all animals..?" Shiki asked. Rhyme smiled and giggled, "All I can say is that I'm glad you and Neku have your memories back so we can stop playing cat and mouse." Neku and Shiki looked at Rhyme and then at eachother. They both soon turned to Rhyme. "Wait….we were trying to eat you…?" Neku asked. Rhyme sighed and nodded. "Well we can talk about that stuff later, right now we need to get back to normal!" Beat barked. "Right, but how are we gonna do that..?" Shiki asked. Rhyme then got on top of Beats head then looked at Neku and Shiki. "Ok I have a plan!"
Later that night, Neku, Shiki and Beat were asleep in the living room well Rhyme was asleep in her mouse hole. Joshua walked in and looked at all of them. A smile grow on his face. He then began to walk into the kitchen, but Beat and Neku soon bolted up and blocked at the way to the kitchen. Beat the jumped onto Joshua and made him hit the ground hard. Beat had Joshua pinned to the floor. Rhyme soon walked out of her hole and walked over to Joshua. "Ok Joshua this is it, well all have our memories back, so set us free!" She squeaked. Joshua sighed and got out his phone making all of them be pushed away from him. Joshua then turned to them.
"Now now now, don't make it seem like it's my fault your animals." He spoke. Beat growled at him. "Joshua please just give it up, your game of pet owner is done, let us free." Neku meowed. Joshua sighed. "You all wanna be humans so bad then fine, but….if I do turn you back….." Joshua paused and looked at them. "If I want to play with you guys as pets, then I get too…" He spoke.
Rhyme sighed and turned to Neku, Beat and Shiki. "So what do you guys say?" Beat walked over to Rhyme, "I say fine, just make it a school day that you make us pets Joshua." Neku walked over to Beat and Rhyme. "Fine…..as long as I get to keep my memories the next time, I don't wanna hurt Rhyme and get bit by Beat." Shiki then walked over to them. "If they are fine with it then I guess I have to be fine with it too…."
Joshua then smiled. He took out his phone and pressed a button on it, making everyone, but Rhyme disappear. Rhyme looked up at Joshua. "Joshua what did you do with them! We had a deal!" She squeaked. Joshua got on one knee and picked Rhyme up. "Now now Rhyme. Don't be so angry. Everyone is normal now and in their beds…besides you." He then began to pet her. "Joshua….what do you want with me?" She asked, a bit scared by the way he was petting her. "Nothing Rhyme, I just hope I get to see you again and maybe play with you…." He spoke as she, then disappeared.
The next day, the sunlight was shinning into Rhymes room. She twitched and yawned. She slowly got up and opened her eyes. She looked around her room and then at her hands. 'I'm normal……' Rhyme thought to herself.
