Two powerful ninja clans struggle for power and land, the Koudo clan and the Kyuuten Clan. The Koudo clan had gotten sneaky and ambushed the Kyuuten Clan while they were going to celebrate the chief's daughter's 17th birthday. They sent her off into the woods for safety, despite the fact she's the strongest of them all, with body guards. Each of them had gotten held back by a member of the Koudo clan and eventually lead to the girl being alone. Suddenly, the girl goes blind, she stumbles along in the dark as she injures herself until she falls into the hands of help and danger. That person happens to be the son of the chief from the Koudo clan.
