New music today is so bad... or at least the mainstream stuff. I'm not one of those people who go around telling everyone that if it has a fan-base, it's bad, but... these days it is. Of course I love Metallica's new album, and Ozzy's new one was pretty good, but the more popular stuff just gets on my nerves. It's always the same bass beat, or the obnoxious techno songs, or some pop song by some artist who can't spell right. Like Kesha (or Ke$ha, if you're that kind of douche) for example, her new song that's played all the ******** time is annoying as balls! It's uncreative and made my cats so pissed, they killed my sister's speakers while it was playing (this is no joke.). And that's the other thing, new music is SOOOO over played! Even on radios that used to play good rock songs will play s**t-tastic songs all day. When I go to Chicago's Rock station, I expect to hear rock NOT FALLOUT BOY'S NEW BULLSHIT!
This rant was brought about after a day of driving around with my brother and arguing about what radio station to play. In the end, we both decided that it'd be a good idea to play Tenacious D. And it was awesome.

I feel you. It get super annoying to her the same thing with different words. Why can people find there own style? why is it that they're all the same? It way annoying.
I like techno, but alot of the new artist are copy cats all sounding the same and it's starting to get really annoying.

I can make you a playlist of songs if you want.... smile it may not all be rock but i'm pretty sure you'll find most of them enjoyable. and this list is open to everyone who wants it.

I know! I've been listening to the radio a lot recently because of my sister, and 99.9% of the new stuff on there SUCKS! It makes me so mad!
That's what everyone likes these days though... so that's what they play...
The world has gone to Justin Bieber and Lay Gaga...
I hear one more friggin Lady Gaga song I will personally kill the object that is playing said Lady Gaga song...
And rock music just keeps getting crappier and crappier...
If only the radio actually played the good stuff...

I don't know whether or not you would consider my music tastes crappy, but Sirius XM Satellite Radio is usually pretty good about stuff like that. Channel 20 Octane is Rock(Slipknot, Evans Blue, Offspring (newer), Metallica, Chevelle, Uncrowned, Shinedown, Sevendust, Puddle of Mud, Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Craving Lucy, 2 Cents, Hinder, Linkin Park, Trapt, Framing Hanley, Mudvayne) . Channel 19 is Buzzsaw (or something close to that) is older rock(Iron Maiden, (older) Metallica). Channel 21 Alt Nation is Alternative. I can't remember what 23 is. Channel 24 Lithium is older Alternative (Nirvana, Offspring (older)

woah i like know exactly what you mean! that whole rap thing is toaly retarded with all the lil wayne s**t and just stuff like that, no im not a hater of rap just it seems pointless to me. Metallica is awesome i really love No Leaf Clover and Beautiful Mourning and i can play some Ozzy on the Guitar. also a few Creed songs. Staind is really good too but my three favorites are Simple Plan, yes i know mainstreaming is stupid too but they were one of the first and are original unlike big time rush and justin beiber and stupid little 12 year old girl music like that. well anyway, i also love Avril Lavigne, again, she is original and was my insperation as a child. but the most amazing band ever, i cried when i heard they split up, is System Of A Down. they are truly original and just...REAL. Serj is a mortal version of Jesus he is such an increadible vocalist. Daron is an increadible vocalist too but he has a gft with his guitar.

i was in the car yesterday, and i was flipping around the radio (there are only, like, 4 stations where i live) and i quickly changed it from a station playing lady gaga to the next station. THEY WERE PLAYING THE SAME GOD DAMN SONG!!! and so i flipped it again only to hear kesha singing about how "your lo, your love your love is my drug" and i was ready to kill somebody.
i really wish my mom would just let me plug my mp3 player into the car. there's absolutely no good music on the radio, and when a good song finally IS played, it's over played. like "hey soul sister" was good. but now i can't listen to it because it's always on!
i'm with you. the new mainstream music is a joke. sadly, it's not a funny one.

My sister loves Lady Gaga and we share a room... and she has control over the music because if I try to change it she will eat me! D: So I was stuck listening to Alejandro (which is by far the worst song EVER) yesterday and I swear I almost cried.
My iPod headphones broke... so my life is now over! (Until I get new ones)
