 ((I'm stupid or something but I forget how to make the pictures show up here sweatdrop ))Kou skips out into an open field in the school grounds. "I hope no one minds me setting up my stuff here!" said Kou worriedly as she walked across the field surveying the land. "Ahhhh, here will be my garden! . . . and over there next to the school's outer wall I'll set up my targets!"
Kou set to work grooming the land that was to be her new garden. "Just like the one I had at home on the farm," she said happily to herself. She sifted the soil and plowed it by hand. It was hard work but she enjoyed it. Kou had many vegetable seeds that she had packed with her to the academy. She put them all into separate pots by the new and furtile garden. "I'll plant a few cabbages but then I'll leave lots of space open so other students can come plant what they want!" Kou smiled, happy and proud of the work she had done.
She wiped her hair out of her eyes with the back of her dirt covered hand, "Oh! I almost forgot! The targets!!" Kou grabbed her five archery targets and stood them up in front of the sturdy stone wall. Then she took a few arrows in her quiver, took her bow from her back and examined it. It was still in perfect condition. The plain but flexible bow that her brother had helped her build before she left for the academy. Kou raised it with perfect form, aimed her arrow at the furthest target, squinted for a second, then let if fly.

((STRAWBERRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)) Christy bounced in, trying to find Kou, when an arrow flew past her. "Kou! There you are!"

((Apple)) "Hi Kou." Samantha said. SHe was shooting three arrows at once. Sam had apple seeds in her pocket.

"Ahhh. I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there, Christy!" Kou waved hello to her, dropping her bow. "Oops!" She hastily bent down to pick it up again.
"Hello Samantha." said Kou. "Wow! Your a really skilled archer." Kou watched Samantha's three arrows soar across the field and hit the three innermost rings of a target.

"Mind if I plant a apple tree?" Sam asked.SHe put her bow away and her arrows in her pack. SHe pulled some seeds out and showed them to Kou.

Xion walked silently along the school,
long bow in hand,he wanted to do a little archery practice and heard there were targets set up here.

"Apple trees would be wonderful, actually!" Kou remembered her family's apple tree orchard at home. The beautiful, orderly lines of sturdy, green leaved trees, soaking up the bright golden sun. Kou closed her eyes and imagined herself back home.
When she opened her eyes she say Xion walking over with a long, elegant bow. "Xion!" Kou's warm smile spread across her face as she waved to him.

((I know! I'm having a hard time deciding. I think it would be kind of cool to have Kou turn into a vampire, though. I think I would make her be like a complete contradiction of everything vampire. . . yet at the same time a stereotypical vampire, I have lots of ideas... lets do it!))
Kou replied to Christy, "I just finished getting this plot of land ready for planting! If you want to plant anything I have some seeds there you can use. If not I can teach you a bit of archery!" Kou smiled excitedly at Christy.
"Xion do you know archery too?" Kou was happy to see Xion again and kind of embarrassed because of what happened the other day at the fountain. She tried to cover up the fact that she was blushing by making a fuss over brushing her hair out of her eyes.

"Great.I'm gonna go plant some." Samantha said.SHe walked off to an area with lots of open space.SHe planted her apple tree in the middle.SHe planted more around it but not too close.

"Alright! Well here you can borrow my bow. You want to hold it like this," Kou showed Christy how to hold the bow before handing it to her. "Oh and then you want to take make sure your feet are shoulder width apart and balance yourself in the balls of your feet. Then relax your arm holding the bow so that your elbow isn't locked. Good now take an arrow, pull the bow string back," Kou adjusted the angle of Christy's arm, "Now release!!!"

((k)) Christy did what she said and smiled as the arrow went right in the center. "Thanks!" Christy got lightheaded all of the sudden and fell to the floor. "Crap, I haven't eaten in a long time... I knew this would happen...."

Kou was laughing and peering across the field at the perfect shot Christy had made.
Suddenly Christy collapsed. Kou gasped and asked with urgent worry in her voice, "Are you going to be okay?"
