I've been wanting a monroe for a few months now, but my mom is absolutelyy against it. but today, when she and my borther asked what I wanted for my birthday, I said "A monroe piercing, but I know you guys won't let me, so nevermind." and went on to say a few other thing I wanted. But my mom said "Maybe. I'll think about it." and later, when my borther and I were talking about it, he said "Um, I'm not gonna say anything. You'll just have to wait..." (My birthday is in one monthh)
So, do the piercings hurt? Everyone I've asked said it didn't hurt too much, but I'm still worried...
and how was caring for it after? Does the swelling/redness go down after a while??

<3 it doesnt hurt..its more like a stinging. i hope you get it! their rly cute.
caring for it is easy, you have to keep it clean.
the thing that really sucks is when it isnt healed all the way and you forget about it and hit it cry

They sting for a second, but that's it.
The worst part is the waiting, and the clamp. lol
