Daisuke Gori, voice of Mr. Satan, Robin Mask (Kinnikuman), and Heihachi (Tekken), among other iconic characters, committed suicide this year.
Dragon Ball Kai entered the Cell Saga (which contains the entire story between the Frieza Saga and the Majin Boo Saga) in Japan, though the Jinzoningen have only started to appear. I wonder if TOEI will find a good replacement for him...

It's unknown if he killed himself cause he randomly fell in the middle of the street=)
